So How Does I-Lipo Work ?

Are The I-Lipo Results Permanent ?

Often we asked this question, of course if you over eat and do not exercise then its a very real possibility that the fat will return to the treated fat cell, in the same way all the fat cells (whether treated or untreated) will increase in size as fat is stored as opposed to used energy.

How Many I-Lipo Treatments Would I Need And At What Intervals Do I Need To Have The I-Lipo Treatment ?

A course of 8 treatments is recommended over a period of 4-weeks, with at least a day between.

You will need to use the energy released from the fat cell with a cadio workout, so its worth booking on days that will allow you to do this.

Can I Do More Than One Area At A Time With The I-Lipo Treatment ?

Blondes and Redheads Beware (in the sun)

Blondes and redheads should be extra careful in the sun. Research has shown that the melanin in fair skinned people, becomes inflamed which may lead to sunburn and tumours which may result in skin cancer.

It may seem fairly obvious, but the more melanin you have in your skin, (melanin is the pigment that determines your hair and skin colour), so the more melanin the darker your skin and hair. The sun activates the melanin and the more melanin you have the quicker you will tan in the sun. Melanin also provides some degree of protection from the dangerous effects of UVA and UVB rays from the sun.

People who have lighter skin colouring have less melanin in their skin and therefore less protection against the sun, additionally, research by the Prof. Tobin (a cell biologist University Bradford) has shown that the melanin in fair skin people is more likely to become inflamed which may lead to sunburn and tumours. So if you are fair skin, blonde and or a red head then please be extra careful in the sun. Taking an oral supplement such as Skin Defender may help prevent the skin from burning , however, this should not replace the usual topical sun protection.

If you have darker skin you should still be aware that although you will not, or rarely burn, damage can still occur in the deeper layers of the skin, presenting itself as pigmentation in later years.

Using good quality sun protection, as well anti-oxidant rich products, plus an oral supplement such as Advanced Nutrition’s Skin Defender will help protect fair skinned people from burning as well as dark skinned people from getting pigmentation later on. And ultimately help prevent skin cancer.

It’s our 10^th Anniversary this year and what a 10 years it has been.

Throughout all the years the one thing that gives us the most pleasure is the real difference we make to the quality of life of our clients.

Over the next few posts I am going to take a trip down memory lane….

When we started Courtney Bell (the name being an homage to our mothers), we had a mission to rid people of the nightmare of unwanted hair. After much investigation into laser and IPL systems for hair removal, we invested in the EpiLight, the best IPL system available which had proven longevity of results and would ensure our clients got the best hair removal treatment available.

We had then, and still have now, a passion for helping people get rid of unwanted hair. We understood the negative effect that unwanted hair could have on a persons quality of life, but to some extent we underestimated the truly positive effect not having to deal with unwanted hair could have.

From clients who could barely face the day, had no self confidence, were withdrawn to smiling ,bubbly and confident people. Witnessing this transformation is truly inspiring and what motivated us into investing in other areas such as acne and weight loss treatments and more recently anti-ageing has become a passion especially as we are now 10 years older……..

It might sound a bit of a cliché but we really are in the gratifying business of changing peoples lives!
