Ever since I first spotted SJP carrying Dior's Soft Babe tote I was hooked. The unique design and circle handle sets this bag apart from all of the other "it" bags making their rounds. I have a hard time fully embracing the 80's Fashion Trend but there's no denying it's back and in full swing. I was pleasantly surprised with softer examples such as these two ensembles available at Piperlime. While I love the Juicy Couture Shrug, Free People Skinny Jeans, Joie Animal Print Tank, Cynthia Vincent Dress, and Joie Cropped Leather Jacket, I don't love the $1200 price tag these five pieces would cost.

I love, love, love the Style Showdowns at mystyle.com! It's not often that I find myself with a few extra minutes to do something completely irrelevant to anything important going on in my life. But when I do, you know how I like to spend a couple of those minutes happily voting for the celebrity I think wore an ensemble better. For instance the two beauties above who got caught wearing the same dress. Who do you think wore it better? Jennifer Lopez or Heidi Klum? My vote's for Klum. But in all fairness, that girl could rock a burlap sack and we'd all be speechless how she was able to accessorize it and look incredible.

I can't say I've ever been known to rock the ruffle look on any occasion and that includes my accessories. But while browsing websites looking for just the right flight jacket, I came across this Ruffle Front Satin Jacket from Forever 21.

I'm not exactly sure why, but I utterly adore this and believe I might actually be able to pull it off. I think ruffles are hard to balance when you're past a certain age...like 2. I love the femininity of ruffles but never want to appear overboard or juvenile which is why I think this jackets speaks to me. It's just edgy enough but indulges my girly side with both the satin material and playful ruffles. And at a price tag of less than $25, it's an affordable addition to my winter wardrobe which has seriously been in need of a pick me up since moving back to a cooler climate. And this jacket is just the ticket!
