Remember that according to 1 Peter 1:18-20, we've been redeemed from the curse of the law by the blood of Jesus.
We were initially not entitled to the blessings pronounced in the bible to the Israelites, being considered as gentiles or heathen, but when Christ came he removed the middle wall of separation. This meaning that we who were considered gentiles in the flesh are now equally entitled to the covenant blessings of Abraham.

11.Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands--

12.that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

13.But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

14.For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,

15.having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace,

16.and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

17.And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.

18.For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

19.Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, - Eph 2:11-19

Let's look at some more scriptures that talk about our redemption by the blood of Jesus
Ephesians 1:7 says that in Him(Christ Jesus), we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
1Pe 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
Eph 2:12-13 KJV 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
What is the curse of the Law?
The curse of the law can well be defined in the books of the law which are found in the Old Testament.
These books show us the curses for breaking the law, which curse are threefold: Poverty, Sickness, and Spiritual death.

We shall look at this in the next post on the same subject

Jesus and Nazareth are inseparable. Jesus spent most of his life in Nazareth. The prophets had said, "He shall be called a Nazarene" (Matthew 2:23). History would remember him as Jesus of Nazareth. Even the demons called him that (Luke 4:34).

That's why this verse is one of the saddest in the Bible:

And he did not do many mighty works [in Nazareth], because of their unbelief. (Matthew 13:58)

It's a great irony that the Pride of Nazareth was rejected by the Nazarenes because of pride.
Can you believe this? Joseph the carpenter's son thinks he's a prophet! Well, we know his family and they're respectable enough people. But I know for a fact that he didn't receive any formal religious education. Where is he getting this teaching of his? Does he really think he's somebody great?

They were deeply offended (Matthew 13:57). Why? Because he was one of them. So if he thought he was superior to them, he had better think again. Jesus knew familiarity breeds the pride of contempt: "a prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household" (Matthew 13:57).
Think of what this pride cost the people of Nazareth. Because he had walked their streets, attended their weddings, worshiped in their synagogue, played with some of them as a child, and maybe built some of their houses and furniture, he wasn't so high and mighty. And so the mighty and merciful power of the Messiah was withheld from them.

This needs to put the fear of God in us. Pride has incredible power to blind our eyes and deaden our hearts. And there are things God won't do for us if we are proud. Is it possible that you're missing out on something because of pride?

"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). We need to fear pride more than we fear cancer. Cancer does not disqualify us from receiving the grace of God, but pride does.
Let this be our prayer today: "Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me and lead me in the way everlasting" (Psalm 139:23–24)! Whatever it takes, Father, teach me to walk humbly with you (Micah 6:8). In the name of my humble servant savior, Jesus, amen.

Employees’ responsibilities

The life of Daniel as recorded in the biblical book of Daniel illustrates eight characteristics that made him a good and godly employee. The following are those eight characteristics.

Work as if working for the Lord. We actually are serving the Lord in our work; we are not serving people. In essence, we work for the Lord. If employees know and believe this, slothfulness can be greatly diminished.

Work hard. “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might” (Ecclesiastes 9:10). In Scripture, hard work and diligence are encouraged; laziness is condemned.“He also who is slack in his work is brother to him who destroys” (Proverbs 18:9).

However, hard work must be balanced by other primary priorities of life: relationship with Christ, spouse, and family. If work interferes with any of these three relationships, you are working too much.

Be honest. Employees should not give cause for their employers ever to question or doubt their honesty.

Be faithful. Godly employees need to establish goals of being faithful and excellent in their work and work habits. Then they work hard to attain those goals.

Be a person of prayer. Godly employees are people of prayer. If employees do not pray daily regarding their work, the work will suffer.

Honor employer. Godly employees always honor their employers and those who have been placed in authority over them (1 Peter 2:18).

Honor fellow employees. Wherever there are employees there will inevitably be office politics. However, a godly employee will avoid backbiting and slanderous talk about other employees.

Verbalize his or her faith. Daniel verbalized his faith in God to those around him. Even so, godly employees will openly declare their faith on their own time and live their lives according to what is pleasing to the Lord and according to the principles of His Word.

Reading the above passage of bible scripture takes me back to creation in the book of Genesis when God created the heavens and the earth.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said , Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good...." - Genesis 1:1-3

The word "LET" literally means to actively cause something to happen. This word calls for some action in order for something to happen.
Throughout the whole chapter of creation God spoke everything into existence. Whenever He spoke things to be, the scripture says He then saw what He had spoken, and He said it was good
This blatantly means that words have the power to put things into existence, and things that we can also visibly see.

"..the worlds/universe were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible"
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. Psalms 33:6

This introduction above thus shows you that words have the power to create, save and also to destroy.

God from the beginning gave man the power to use his mouth in creating his world. Adam in the book of Genesis was given the privilege to name every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.

The greatest miracle ever considered is the salvation of man - the new birth or being born again, and this was a result of our faith and our confession or words of belief spoken.

"Thou shalt be saved/Born Again" - How?

"...The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation." Romans 10:8-10

According to the passage of scripture above, the faith of the heart must be openly confessed. This is a test of the faith. Unless Christ had provided such tests as confession and obedience we could not know whether ours was really a belief of the heart. That our faith moves us to confession is to us an assurance of salvation. The whole Christian life is a confession.

For with the heart - Not the understanding only. Man believes to righteousness - So as to obtain justification. And with the mouth confession is made - So as to obtain final salvation. Confession here implies the whole of outward, as believing does the root of all inward.

For many say that they believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, But the question here is that, have they confessed him as the Lord over their lives, to live according to His precepts by the help of the Holy Spirit?

There's power in your words to either bring you life of death

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof - Prov 18:21

The world you are living in is as a result of what you are saying and your mouth is a picture of your heart, and your words are portraits.

If you sit down to listen to someone narrate to you something he has experienced or seen, you'll begin to see pictures or photographs in your mind of whatever they're telling you.

Your words are you. And, they are incredibly important. So, when you speak, choose your words carefully because they truly reveal your loyalty or disloyalty, truth, anger, sensitivity an d much more.

More to come...

And if you be Christ's, then are you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. - Gal 3:29

Let's begin off by trying to understand the term Redeemed.
Christ has redeemed us... What does that mean?

Redeemed:

To purchase back; to regain possession of by payment of a stipulated price; to repurchase.

To ransom, liberate, or rescue from captivity or bondage, or from any obligation or liability to suffer or to be forfeited, by paying a price or ransom; to ransom; to rescue; to recover; as, to redeem a captive, a pledge, and the like.

Hence, to rescue and deliver from the bondage of sin and the penalties of God's violated law.

To pay the penalty of; to make amends for; to serve as an equivalent or offset for; to atone for; to compensate; as, to redeem an error.

Imagine the feeling of being rescued from prison or bondage with a price way beyond your means, and someone comes over and fully pays for your release.

PRAISE THE LORD!!!! Jesus paid it all. He paid it all. We are free! Free at last!

The first thing to know is that we are free and that Christ has set us free.

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

He set us free by taking our place and was crucified onto the cross, he died, was then buried, but He rose from the dead.

Then when you believe in His death and resurrection, then confess Him as Lord over your life.

Rom 10:9,10

9.That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised from the dead, thou shalt be saved .<img id="iconStrongs9_3754"

Confession is an important aspect to our redemption, cause the enemy of our souls is always trying to deceive us that we are still bound, and yet Christ has already redeemed us.

Christ has already redeemed us, and not going to redeemed us. In other words, it is a past tense issue.

That means that we do not have to do anything to have Christ redeem us, cause he has already done so. All we are required to do is "Just Believe" and receive

Just believe that he has already redeemed you and confess it with your mouth.

2 Cor 4:13.We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Therefore if you believe you are free, then declare it. Declare or speak it out aloud that you are free. I AM FREE!!

Therefore, if Christ redeemed, purchased, bought us back or regained possession of us by payment of a stipulated price, what did he use to do so?
The bible clearly states it the Christ redeemed with his precious blood through his death on the cross.

1 PETER 1:18-20

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

We were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold. In our today language, Christ didn't use money to purchase or redeem us.

The precious blood of Jesus represents His life. That means that when Christ shed His blood at Calvary, He gave us His very life.

There's power in the blood of Jesus not only in redemption, but the blood also protects and defeats our enemy Satan and all his cohorts.

God has given us a wonderful weapon to use, the blood of Jesus. This is our weapon, our shield, our hiding place...In Revelation 12:11 we are told that, "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony." Sin, temptation, sickness, disease, everything that comes from Satan is included in that.

"We must know the power of the blood if we are to know the power of God.Our knowing experimentally the power of the Word, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the power of prayer, is dependent upon our knowing the power of the blood of Christ." - R. A. Torrey

Christ redeemed us with his blood from the curse of the law, by becoming a curse for us. He took our place and took the curse upon himself that we might be delivered from it (the curse), willingly submitting to that death which the law pronounces accursed. (Deut 21:23)

One of the most embarrassing situations for any businessman is to find out he has lost vast sums of money needlessly or to learn of assets he could have been enjoying for years simply because he did not know the fullness of the contracts he had entered into.

There's a story of a poor man who scrimped and saved every cent until he could buy a ticket on a great ship to come to America. He only had enough money left to buy some cheese and a little bread to eat on the trip. He would gaze longingly into the dining rooms and watch the people eat the beautiful food and enjoy themselves so. On the morning of their New York arrival, one of the ship's officers asked the man if they had offended him in any way since he had not eaten his meals with them. "Oh, no!" the man replied. "I only had enough money to pay for my ticket. I didn't have enough to eat in the dining rooms." The officer looked at the man almost in unbelief and said, "Sir, I'm so sorry. Your meals were included in your fare."

So many Christian people are living on bread and cheese when God's best is theirs all the time. They don't know the terms of their contract, their covenant—the New Testament. I believe this blog will help you find out what belongs to you in your Covenant with Jesus.
______________________________
