DEBATE rages about the origin of crop circles. Are they the work of aliens, pranksters with wide crop-flattening paddles or rural artists with too much energy to spare.

Well there's no disputing where the crop circle which is greet Glastonbury punters has come from.

The Streets star, Mike Skinner, roped in his crew to create a huge crop cricle depiction of his own face.

Skinner apparently spent 24 hours on a tractor making the 100 sqm image which greets festival goers as the step off the train at Castle Cary station.

The singer decided to make the huge work of art because he wants his face 'to be seen from space'.

The Streets are playing on the Jazz World stage at the festival tomorrow night.

THEY'LL be celebration at Hogwarts - Professor Dumbledore actor Sir Michael Gambon, is a proud dad again at 68, after his mistress gave birth to their second son.

Lady love Philippa Hart, a set designer who is two years younger than Gambon's eldest son, Fergus, gave birth in a London hospital with no complications.

The baby has been named William and is a brother for Michael, who was born in May 2007.

Irish-born Gambon has been seeing Hart for nine years despite still being married to wife Lady Anne, mother of Fergus, and living with her at their country estate in Gravesend, Kent.

The couple have been married for 45 years and apparently Lady Anne turns a blind eye to Gambon visiting Hart a number of times a week, being pictured together and Gambon describing her as his girlfriend.

Despite the mathemetician's acceptance the relationship is said to irk Fergus, a ceramics expert who has appeared on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow.

Gambon took over the role of Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter franchise for the third installment, The Prisoner of Azkaban, after the original Professor, Richard Harris, died.

RYAN O'Neal is set to wed on-off love Farrah Fawcett on her deathbed 27 years after they first started dating.

Speaking to US chatshow host Barbara Walters, a tearful O'Neal, 68, said: "I have asked her to marry me again and she's agreed.

"I used to ask her to marry me all the time. But it just got to be a joke, you know. We just joked about it."

Love Story star O'Neal said Farrah, who was one of the 70s biggest pin-ups, was deteriorating and fighting for her life.

The former Charlie's Angel actress, 62, was originally diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2006 and believed she had beaten the disease after surgery and chemotherapy.

But the following year the cancer returned and despite experimental treatment in Germany it spread to her liver.

She returned home to see out her days with O'Neal at their Malibu mansion.

The pair began dating when Farrah's marriage to Six Million Dollar Man and Fall Guy star, Lee Majors, crumbled.

They had a son, Redmond, 24, who is currently in rehab after a third drug arrest, before splitting in 1997.

They rekindled their romance four years later when O'Neal was diagnosed with leukemia.

LOOKS like X Factor hopefuls who auditioned up in Scotland will have to sing all over again thanks to the show's new look format this season.

After the success of Britain's Got Talent and its performers getting out on stage in front of a live studio audience for the auditions X Factor guru Simon Cowell wants this year's X Factor wannabees to sing in front of the public too.

But the show has already filmed in Glasgow meaning anyone who auditioned there will have to stand up to the plate a second time.

An X Factor spokesman said: "It does look like everyone who auditioned will come and audtion again."

Meanwhile Cowell has admitted mistakes were made in the way Britain's Got Talent favourite Susan Boyle was handled, although he says he's not sure what else he might have done.

He said he didn't imagine Boyle would become the global sensation she did and insisted Boyle had always told him she was happy to carry on with shows even though she seemed to be finding the fame too much to take.

Scottish spinster Boyle was admitted to the Priory Clinic with exhaustion after the show and has missed a number of the live tour concerts.

There have been numerous reports of her bizarre behaviour.

VALERIE singer Amy Winehouse wants to become a citizen of St Lucia according to reports in the News of the World.

The troubled star has apparently applied for residency in the Caribbean island believing the location to have 'done her the world of good' and reignited her songwriting ability.

But it's not clear whether St Lucia actually wants to lay claim to the tatttooed 25-year-old.

A St Lucian official reckons her application is being considered but government advisors have previously urged a denial on any residency status made by Winehouse claiming she was a 'dangerous influence'.

Winehouse has been living in St Lucia since December after escaping London in a bid to beat her addictions.

However tourists have made repeated accusations of loud and outlandish drunken behaviour on Winehouses's part.

MARRIAGE just may be in the air for Bruno star, Sacha Baron Cohen and fiancee Isla Fisher but not yet.

The couple, who are proud parents of two-year-old daughter Olive, have apparently set their hearts on marrying in Italy but don't have the time to get around to it.

Friends told the Daily Mail: "With all their projects, Isla and Sacha haven't had time to tie the knot."

The pair have been dating for more than seven years and Fisher, who found fame in Aussie soap Home and Away, previously converted to Judaism so that she could wed Cohen.

She took the Hebrew name Ayala.

PUBLIC favourite Susan Boyle was axed from a third Britan's Got Talent concert last night after spouting a bizarre rant about her cat Pebbles.

Fellow guests at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Liverpool where the 48-year-old was staying claimed she was on her balcony shouting: "Where's my cat" yesterday afternoon.

Although Britain's Got Talent spokesmen denied she had been bawling after her pussy the show's bosses dropped her from that evening's show at the Liverpool Echo Arena and she won't be performing tonight in Cardiff either.

Tour spokemen said Susan was having a 'rest day' and were not able to confirm whether the Scottish spinster would be appearing as the tour continues to Nottingham on Saturday and London on Sunday.

She already missed two gigs in Manchester last weekend after doctors advised her to rest and she also dodn't feel well enough to take to the stage at her homecoming concert on Tuesday in Edinburgh.

This despite the revelation the singer is being lined up for a run of shows in Vegas.

Susan is required to sing two songs on the Britain's Got Talent 26 gig tour, her audition song I Dreamed a Dream and semi-final track Memories.

Seems clear the poor woman simply can't cope with all this fame and attention. She's already been in the Priory for exhaustion and there have been numerous reports about her strange behaviour.

Simon Cowell would do better looking after the woman's personal interests rather than trying to line her up for fame at Vegas' Planet Hollywood hotel and casino. Surely it's obvious Boyle ain't got the bottle.

OMG - huge news for all you shoe-aholics out there. High street retailer H&M has tied up a terrific new collaboration with British shoemeister, Jimmy Choo.

The internationally famous brand, worn on the red carpet by Hollywood A-listers and coveted by Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie Bradshaw, in Sex in the City, will be creating a line of shoes and bags for H&M as well as a line of women's clothing that will be designed to match the accessories.

Normally Jimmy Choo shoes sell for upwards of £400 with bags costing a grand or more so the new more reasonably priced range is sure to cause a stampede when it goes on sale from November 14 in 200 stores across the world.

Jimmy Choo's president, Tamara Mellon said today she was honoured to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M - other famous collaborators have included Stella McCartney, Matthew Williamson, Roberto Cavalli, Kylie Minogue and Madonna.

Tamara said: "It's such a privilege to design a collection to appeal to fashion savvy, street smart women.

"Jimmy choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection - ther perfect party pieces to wear out at night."

The blokes aren't being left out either - Jimmy Choo is planning a men's collection of bags, shoes and clothing.

But hang onto your credit card - it's not certain yet whether the range will be in Coventry. We can only hope and pray!

OSCAR-WINNING actor Sean Penn has pulled out of two upcoming movie projects, The Three Stooges and Cartel.

Penn, 48, is thought to be trying to work on family issues following the issue then withdrawl of his divorce petition against second wife, Robin Wright Penn.

The pair, who wed in 1996, had also initiated divorce proceedings in 2007, only to reconcile four months later.

Just weeks ago Penn, who won the Best Actor Oscar this year for his role in Milk, filed for divorce again, citing irreconcilable differences.

But in May, less than a month afterwards he cancelled the petition. Penn was formerly married to pop superstar Madonna.

The makers of The Three Stooges, in which Penn was due to appear alongside Benecio del Toro and Jim Carey, will have to decide whether to wait for Penn for cast someone else.

The Cartel producers are pressing on with a replacement.

Just how she thought any right-minded person would believe anyone of her stick-instect stick-thinness could have bulgy boobs is anyone's guess.

Chastity, 40, Cher's daughter with former love and co-artist, Sonny Bono, is set to have a sex change.

After coming out as a lesbian more than 20 years ago, Chastity has apparently already started the gender swap process and now wants to be called Chaz.

Referring to his client as a 'he', Chastity's - or should that be Chaz's publicist, Howard Bragman, said; "Yes it's true - Chaz, after many years of consideration has made the courageous decision to honour his true identity.

"It is Chaz's hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his 'coming out' did nearly 20 years ago."

Chastity/Chaz came out as a lesbian in 1987 while she was a student at New York University and became a vocal advocate of gay and transgendered rights.

Father Sonny appeared to accept the decision although mum, Cher admitted in interviews: "I flipped out. I always had this idea she would get married and have a family."

Aussie supermodel Elle MacPherson, who at 45 and a mother-of-two still boasts the fine form which earned her the nickname, The Body, has had to knock £2m off the asking price of her Notting Hill home.

The house, a seven-storey Grade II listed property, has been on the market for £9.5m since last summer.
