AUTOPSY results on Michael Jackson have been delayed until next week the Los Angeles County coroner's office has revealed.

The results were due this week with speculation over the part played by prescription drugs in the singer's death.

No reasons have been given for the delay. Meanwhile the phone of Jackson's 'under suspicion' personal physician, Dr Conrad Murray, (pictured above) has been seized following a police raid on his home.

Police had already searched one of his offices with his consent. Some police sources claim the medic, who had been living with Jackson, gave 50-year-old Jacko the dangerous sedative Propofol hours before he died on June 25.

The drug is only usually used in hospitals.

JUDE Law is going to be a father for the fourth time following a relationship with a 'mystery' woman.

The 36-year-old actor said he would play a 'fully supportive' role in the child's life despite no longer being involved with the mother-to-be, who has not been identified.

The child is due this autumn following the relationship which occurred last year.

Law's spokesman said no other statements would be issued and it was an entirely private matter.

Law has three children with ex-wife Sadie Frost, who he divorced in 2003. The couple had been married for seven years.

Currently Law is appearing in Hamlet in London's West End and will be seen on the big screen this October in Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

PRODUCERS of hit BBC reality TV show, Strictly Come Dancing, are looking for new contestants after two prospects pulled out.

Bosses are apparently being forced to find eleventh hour replacements following the snubs by Sharon Osbourne and Richard Madeley.

Both had been in negotiations for the series but are believed to have pulled the plug over the fee they were offered.

Show host Bruce Forsyth has already taken a £160,000 pay cut as the show's bosses seek to reduce costs by 30 per cent.

The Beeb has denied fees were discussed with Osbourne and Madeley. Other names in the frame for the new series include ex-Eastender Natalie Cassidy and Coronation Street star Reece Dinsdale.

FORMER OC star Mischa Barton is out of hospital after being treated for an undisclosed medical condition.

The actress, who was arrested in December 2007 for drink driving and later convicted, was taken from her West Hollywood home in by police on Wedndesday July 15.

The nature of her medical problem has not been revealed but her publicist said the 23-year-old was making progress in anticipation of resuming production on a new US TV show.

London born Mischa, who shot to fame playing Marissa Cooper in teen drama, The OC, will play a pill-popping model in The Beautiful Life, scheduled to begin filming on Friday.

Her illness forced her to miss the New York premiere of her latest movie, The Homecoming after being taken into LA's Cedars Sinai Hospital.

FRASIER star Kelsey Grammer yesterday pleaded for his sister's killer to remain in jail, calling convicted rapist and murderer, Freddie Glenn, a 'butcher' and a 'monster'.

The impassioned submission from actor Grammer, 54, was read out at a parole hearing for Glenn who was sent to prison for the rape and murder of Grammer's younger sister, Karen 34 years ago.

Karen's death has haunted Grammer who blames himself for not being able to protect her.

She was 18 when she was kidnapped, raped and murdered by Glenn and two accomplices as she left a restaurant where she worked as a waitress.

Glenn was imprisoned for her murder and also for the slaying of 28-year-old motel cook, Daniel Van Lone during a botched robbery on June 19, 1975, and the murder of 19-year-old army soldier, Winfred Proffitt during a drug deal on June 27, 1975.

He was given the death penalty but that was commuted in 1978 to life in prison with the possibility of parole.

At the parole hearing at Limon Correctional Facility near Denver, Colorado, on Monday Grammer's letter was read out. He had planned to appear in person but his flight was delayed from New York.

He pleaded for Glenn to remain in prison, saying: "He must never take a single breath as a free man. This is a butcher.This is a monster. I can never accept the notion he can pay for the nightmare with anything less than his life."

During the hearing Glenn downplayed his part in the slayings and apologised for his part.

But the board turned down his bid for freedom and told him he will have to wait until 2014 to apply again.

ONE of Michael Parkinson's favourite shows is apparently the geneaology programme, Who Do You Think You Are?

But hopes that the former king of chat shows would appear on the BBC TV hit have apparently been scuppered - because Parky's relatives are just not interesting enough.

Parky, 74, was actually approached by the Beeb to see if he was willing to be featured on the show which has made ancestor hunting somehow cool.

The presenter, who in his time interviewed some of the top celebrities in the world, did admit some foraging of his own accord had unearthed nothing spectacular.

But the show's producers were more positive, claiming they 'always find something'.

However six weeks later the producers rang Parky to apologise because all they had been able to find down his family tree were a bunch of farmers and farm labourers, railwaymen and domestics.

Parky admits: "My story was so boring they had to cancel the entire project. I was gutted."

He said he was especially disappointed because the series was the only reality TV show he had ever thought about appearing on.

FARRAH Fawcett has been nominated for an Emmy for the documentary she made about her battle with cancer before she died three weeks ago.

The former Charlies Angels star was among allowed crews to film some of the last months of her life as she battled rectal cancer.

The piece, Farrah's Story, has been nominated in the non-fiction special category of the Emmy awards.

Alana Stewart, who helped film the documentary said: "It's very bittersweet. I know she would be so, so happy. This was so important to her, this project.

"She's been nominated before, and I just know this would be the most important one of all."

Among the other headline nominations was comedy 30 Rock, which received 22 nominations and 60s retro series Mad Men which led the drama category with 16 bids.

The shows were last year's best comedy and drama and could retain their titles at the awards which will be held in LA in September.

ACTRESS Mischa Barton was forced to miss the New York premiere of her new film, The Homecoming, after she was detained in hospital under 'involuntary psychiatric hold', it has been claimed.

These are the same terms that were used to hospitalise Britney Spears twice during her infamous meltdown in 2008.

The rule, Section 5150 of the California Welfare and Institutions Code stipulates authorities can hold a person against their will for up to 72 hours if they are deemed to present a danger to themselves or others, are gravely disabled or suffer from a mental disorder.

Mischa, 23, famed for her role in the soap The OC, was taken from her West Hollywood apartment by LAPD officers on Wednesday afternoon after they responded to a non-emergency call to assist with a 'medical issue'.

Sources close to Mischa say she has been dealing with a lot of personal issues over the last few months. Only two weeks ago she was thrown out of the ladies toilet of London nightclub, Whisky Mist.

Last year she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possessing marijuana.

A statement from her representative, Craig Schneider said: "Police were involved due to Ms Barton's celebrity status, to ensure her safe transfer to medical treatment for which she remains hospitalised as per the recommendation of her doctor."

FORMER Hollywood heartthrob, Robert Redford has wed his long-term girlfriend in a private ceremony in Germany.

The actor, 71, married Sibylle Szaggars, 51, an abstract artist at the luxury Louis C Jacob Hotel in Hamburg at the weekend.

A German church, St Catherine's in Hamburg, confirmed its pastor, Frank Engelbrecht, presided over the ceremony which was attended by around 30 close friends and family.

Redford, one of the biggest and most handsome stars of the 60s and 70s, and known for such movies as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, All the President's Men,The Sting and The Way We Were and more latterly Indecent Proposal with Demi Moore, got engaged to Sibylle last March.

He and first wife, Lola Van Wagenen were divorced in 1985. The have three children, Shauna, 48, Jamie, 46 and Amy, 38. They lost one son, Scott to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

The movie is being developed by Working Title Films with production slated to start late in 2010.

ER star, Maura Tierney - a one-time love interest for George Clooney on the hit show - is to have surgery to remove a breast tumour.

The 44-year-old actress, famous for playing Abby Lockhart in the series, which came to an end recently, said in a statement: "I have discovered a tumour in my breast which requires surgery. I will not know either my exact diagnosis or course of treatment until that surgery is performed. I'm very optimistic as to the outcome."

But she also said she had been assured her condition is 'very treatable'.

Production on her new television show, Parenthood, has been halted to allow Maura - who received an Emmy nomination for her role as Lockhart - to receive treatment.

Over the past months numerous 'sale' websites have sprung up advertising '100 per cent genuine' shoes from top designer names with bargain bucket price tags - well compared to the true price anyway.

Shoes from 'Christian Louboutin' are being advertised for just over £100, when their true full price is generally more than £400.

The websites claim they are selling the genuine article and are authorised agents - the reason they can offer such huge discounts is they get the shoes straight from the factory.

FORMER Eastenders bad boy turned frontline docu drama action man, Ross Kemp, has signed a new deal to make 12 factual programmes for the Sky satellite network.

Kemp, who played hardman Grant Mitchell in the BBC1 soap, has found a new niche with real-life documentaries reporting on issues such as modern pirates, international street gangs and the ordinary soldier's experience of conflict in Afghanistan.

The 43-year-old won a Bafta for best factual series in 2007 for Ross Kemp on Gangs. He left Eastenders in 1999 but has made a number of sporadic appearances.

Talking about the contract Kemp said he would put his 'heart and soul' into the shows and 'tell the stories no one else is telling'.

Exact details of the shows have not been revealed. Kemp will make six hour-long shows each year for two years.

TWO of the hottest action movie stars around are set to team up for a theatrical production.

X-Men and Wolverine star, Hugh Jackman and 007 hunk, Daniel Craig, will appear in Broadway production, A Steady Rain, a play about two Chicago policemen and how the events of a few days change their lives forever.

Jackman, 40, has appeared on the New York stage before and won a Tony for his role in the musical, The Boy from Oz, but James Bond star, Craig, 41, will be making his Broadway debut, although he has appeared in the West End.

Scott Mallalieu, president of Broadway ticket agency, Group Sales, said he expected every performance to be a sell-out.

Other Hollywood names to hit the New York stage this year include Geoffrey Rush, Susan Sarandon, Will Ferrell and James Gandolfini.

A Steady Rain is expected to open on September 29 and run for 12 weeks. Previews begin on September 10 at the Schoenfeld Theatre
