POP royalty Take That have finished their three night stint at Coventrys' Ricoh Arena.

The Fab Four - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald - performed their Circus Tour to three sell-out crowds at the Ricoh Arena this week.

Piers Morgan: Britain's Got Talent world's apart from Big Brother

SMUG Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan says the show is the opposite of Big Brother.

He told the Radio Times: "Big Brother is about celebrating the talentless.

"Britain's Got Talent (BGT) is 100% about celebrating talent.

"It not only provokes genuine debate in a tough time for the country, it's put Britain back on the map as a producer of talent."

He added: "I think that Susan Boyle has come as the antidote to the recession."

Heather Mills is a 'tornado'

HEATHER Mills's ex-fiance has compared her to a "tornado in all its fury".

Documentary maker Chris Terrill, who has made a show called Nature's Fury for ITV1, was asked about scary encounters.

He told the Radio Times: "I have, indeed, just spent a year in the grip of the planet's most savage storms - giant hail, multiple lightning strikes, deafening thunder, 160mph winds, mountainous seas and ferocious firestorms.

"It was thrilling and terrifying, all at the same time.

"Heather, bless her, was also an amazing experience, for much the same reasons.

"She was a force of nature in her own right who can do a very passable impersonation of a tornado in all its fury."

Referring to Mills's marriage to Sir Paul McCartney, which ended in divorce, Terrill said: "We had a whirlwind romance and a brief engagement before she took up with some bloke called Paul!"

Oasis' Live Forever named as best British song

OASIS claimed the top three positions in a poll of the best British songs of all time today.

Live Forever came in at number one, followed by Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger.

A fourth Oasis song, Champagne Supernova, also made it into the top 10.

The poll was voted for by several thousand Xfm listeners.

Paul Jackson, group programming director for The Xfm Network said: "Oasis undoubtedly has one of the most significant catalogues of all time."

The survey was dominated by the North of England, with the Stone Roses, The Verve, Joy Division and the Arctic Monkeys riding high as well as Oasis.

Here are the top 10 best British songs, according to the survey:

Patrick Swayze's autobiography set for Autumn release

PATRICK SWAYZE'S autobiography is set to be released this autumn, his publisher has announced.

E! reports that the as-yet untitled memoir he has been writing with wife Lisa Niemi will cover his childhood, career, marriage and battle against pancreatic cancer, with which he was diagnosed last January.

According to the book's press release, the Dirty Dancing star will share his "brave fight against a diagnosis of stage four pancreatic cancer, from which he has gleaned wisdom and has remained resolutely optimistic".

Lisa, who has been married to the actor for more than 30 years, will also add her side of the story.

SARAH JESSICA PARKER has spoken of her and husband Matthew Broderick's anger over media intrusion.

The Sex And The City star told Access Hollywood that some of the things written about her personal life had been "shocking" and "hurtful".

It follows ongoing rumours about the state of her marriage and recent paparazzi attention given to the surrogate mother carrying the couple's unborn twins.

Speaking about Matthew's reaction, Sarah said: "He's furious.

"He's angry. It's shocking daily because there are daily if not more-than-daily incidents."

Rihanna not dating Aubrey 'Drake' Graham

RIHANNA is not romancing Aubrey 'Drake' Graham, according to the actor-turned-rapper.

"Nah nah nah, it's not like that at all," Drake told New York's Hot 97 radio station.

"I'm being honest man. She's just a friend that's all.

"I have the utmost respect for her. I think she's so talented."

Drake and the 21-year-old Umbrella singer were spotted smooching at New York's Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge, leading to rumours that they were romantically involved.

A source told People: "They were very cute.

"Both of them were in really good spirits and she was having a great time."

Saint and Greasvie make FA Cup final return

SAINT and Greavsie - the football pundit legends - will make a comeback as a TV duo to present FA Cup Final coverage.

Ian St John and Jimmy Greaves will star in a Saint and Greavsie FA Cup Special being broadcast by Setanta on Saturday, May 30.

Their ITV football show ended in 1992 and they have occasionally linked up since.

Setanta said the return of Saint and Greavsie was a key component of its plans to roll back to the days when watching TV on FA Cup Final day was a "magical experience".

Morrissey marks 50th birthday with Manchester gig

LIAM GALLAGHER has publicly fallen out with The Enemy frontman Tom Clarke - only weeks before they start their UK stadium tour together.

The Coventry band, who recently hit number two in the album charts with their new album Music for the People, have been booked to be part of Oasis' forthcoming UK tour.

But the row was sparked after Clarke gave an interview to The Sun about Liam's brother, Noel, saying: "I don't think Noel needs to do it any more.

"He is doing it for the love of it. That's the dream, that's when you can say you've made it."

This seems to have enraged Liam, who wrote on his Twitter page: "Having read an interview with Tom Clarke from The Enemy apparently Oasis are past it?

RACHEL HUNTER has announced plans to marry this summer in California

The former Mrs Rod Stewart got engaged last August to ice hockey star Jarret Stoll.

But despite being married before, it appears that Rachel isn't so good at planning the big day - "I am terrible," she told People magazine.

She told the glossy that the idea is the pair will get hitched in northern California in mid-August.

But the venue was only decided upon following months of indecision.

The 39-year-old model said: "It was going to be in Mexico, but we decided otherwise. I've made seven changes to the location."

Depeche Mode cancel Athens gig after David Gahan falls ill

A DEPECHE Mode concert had to be scrapped at the last minute after lead singer David Gahan was taken to hospital.

The influential British synth-rock act - whose hits include Just Can't Get Enough and Enjoy The Silence - was due to perform in Greek capital Athens last night as part of their world tour.

But concert organisers told the 20,000 audience that the gig was being cancelled after Gahan, 47, fell ill in his dressing room with suspected gastroenteritis.

In footage of the announcement posted on YouTube, a spokesman for the band drew whistles and groans as he said: "Dave Gahan has been taken ill.

"Dave is not well, we have had a doctor in to see him back stage and unfortunately the advice from the doctor is that Dave cannot perform.

Kevin Costner planning Western TV series

KEVIN COSTNER is set to make a return to the Western genre with a new TV mini-series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Dances With Wolves star is developing a four-hour movie for US cable network A And E.

Along with executive-producing the project, Kevin may also direct and star in the series which will tell the story of a post-Civil War conflict in the settlement of the American West.

"Costner understands the Western better than anybody, and he respects the genre," said Tara Nugent Jamieson, of the A And E network.

"He knows every bit of detail about the West - this is a genre he feels a lot of passion for."

KATE WINSLET has revealed she wears a ring given to her by Titanic and Revolutionary Road co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.

"Yes, (Leo's ring) is engraved on the inside," she told the new issue of Flare magazine.

"But I'm not going to tell you what it says."

Leonardo gave her the gold piece of jewellery shortly after they finished filming on Revolutionary Road, directed by her husband Sam Mendes.
