Princess Diana

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Mon, 09 Nov 2020 21:00:00 +0000

I've got this wonderful mint sheet a long time ago and just found it on the shelves above my monitor. I somehow forgot to take a picture and brag a little bit about it. I've adored this woman's essence and I've found out that she was sacrificed for the higher means. I hope her essence is somewhere free and looking out over us - especially children she used to adore..

A sweet handmade hello from Croatia

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Mon, 09 Nov 2020 20:46:00 +0000

Hello there!!!

I've been surprised today with this sweet hello from Croatia! I've been just putting my laundry out on the balcony to let it dry when a mailman came by and asked me to catch the envelope so that he doesn't have to enter into the building lobby.

It surprised me how magnificent effort this new penpall did for me. Pictures tell more than I can and I really thank you dear Vesna :)

Pre Corona post /mail from Belgium

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Mon, 15 Jun 2020 14:51:00 +0000

On 12th of February I've got my last mail before Corona hit and sent our people home. I've got a very lovely cover with beautiful stamps on it. My postman also asked me if I can sell my cover to a philatelist very well known here.

In the letter is stated next:

Dear Marija,

We hope you like this cover from Belgium. My son Niels and I are building a cover collection, and we would really like a nice one from Montenegro.

I will be in Gaboon soon, we lived there for 30 years, my daughter still lives there, so if you care we could send you a nice one from there too. Tell me your preferences concerning the stamps, or if maybe you'd rather want a postcard.

-->>Their address<<-- p="">
Niels and Luc

I am really blessed for such a lovely letter - I will reply them soon. Hope my letter will find them in good health.

Today received 2 covers from France!!!

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Wed, 05 Sep 2018 08:59:00 +0000

Mr. Gilles is obviously very generous man and I appreciate every package I receive from him. So I've got 2 covers yesterday in my mailbox. One was sent on 20th of August and here are the pictures.

I am sorry if my pictures are bad - my battery was almost dead so I took pictures without the light behind the camera. If I get a chance I will scan them well.

Than other cover was a proof that he has received my letter with postcards of Montenegro and magnets which I've sent to him nearly a month ago. I know it because he used my back address, cut it out and put it on his cover so that he is sure my address was accurate. Maybe he wanted to show to me that he'd received my cover ;) here are pictures:

I am so grateful of these doubles I've received I could offer them now forward to my fellow penpals and philatelists ;)

France is striking again ;)

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Thu, 16 Aug 2018 10:12:00 +0000

Just when I've thought there are a bunch of bills in my mail, I've got surprised by my penpal Gilles again ;) This time a small cover (it was about time) and 9 postcards in it ;) mostly the architecture and animated postcards but still.. I've got one maxi card too ;) that was new!!!

Thank you :)

I've responded with few lovely postcards from Herceg Novi also 2 special postcards with additional magnets along with a cover with few Europa stamps ;) Hope you'd like it!

Again another parcel from France

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Mon, 16 Jul 2018 12:42:00 +0000

Maybe I was too good in last year so I have a permanent secret Santa bombing me with presents ;) I've received a message via my Insta in which my postman have said to me that I have a package which have passed custom services in Podgorica, for which I need to give 4 Euros. And I was amazed because I knew that I haven't ordered nothing abroad - nor so heavy ;) When I got into post office today, I've got this parcel on picture

I was very eager to get to know what is inside as this parcel was huge and I had to finish all other errands trough town which required keeping it in my arms all the time. ;) So, when I finally got home I've discovered real treasure inside. I've got an almanac about province of Alsace in France, which is amazing and very well kept!

And I've found a treasure buried between these magnificent pictures shown in postcards, numismatic and wonderful set of CTO stamps with Star wars theme

I am really happy with this parcel and I feel like a philately princess that is spoiled by this generous man :) Thank you again my friend I hope I would respond the same manner soon.

Another lovely package from France

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Thu, 12 Jul 2018 15:40:00 +0000

I am so excited to get a brand new cover from France - definitively I am blessed to have such a great penpal that sends me such a package!
This time a dozen of postcards and more stamps to come - all of them CTO - they seem to be a little bit different regarding to a quality of printed stamps but I believe they're real. I mean you can't put a post stamp seal on stamp that seams fake? I've never received these kind of stamps so I am very surprised.

Let pictures speak for myself ;)

So here are stamps that seam to me a little bit odd ;)

And here are postcards with theme of Mountains, Strasbourg folklore, EU parliament and birds ;) Mint of course

And here is the beautiful cover although my surname is still Tadić ;) I really adore this man ;) my postman have been doubting weather to give these letters to me because of K on the end of my surname but I've convinced him that those are really for me ;)

Just got the lovely package from France

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Sat, 23 Jun 2018 11:52:00 +0000

Hello again,

I've checked my mailbox today and just noticed the new package I've received from Mr. Gilles Koch from France. This gentleman is sending me packages for months now and I don't know how have I deserved such a great parcels which amuse me every time I receive them. Here are the pictures that speak the most ;)

Lovely covers somewhere from France

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Fri, 27 Apr 2018 07:53:00 +0000

Somewhere in February this year I've started to receive covers from France. I dunno the guy who sent me all those postcards and stamps but I am amazed that he have sent me 4 covers full of stuff. There were enormous number of mint postcards of Strasbourg, even some 3D cards, than stamps and numismatic coins from around the world. I don't know how did I ever deserved that amount of postcards, but I really adore literally everything you've sent to me Mr. Gilles Koch ;) Thank you very much I am very happy that you had thought of me ;)

Here are some shots.

Sending out some letters and postcards

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Thu, 05 Mar 2015 20:13:00 +0000

Hello to all of you,

I've been long time off these lands and the cause for that was totally financial. Now that I've got new job and finally working, now I am ready to send out some letters, and make new pen-pal friends ;)

One of them is Dominic Dias - for which I have prepared nice cover letter and sent it out from my town of birth - Bar. :)

After a while I've been working hard and I've got a request from new pen-pal friend in USA California, Larry E Pollock, and today I have sent him a Montenegrin Maxi Card of 125th anniversary of Concordat between Montenegro and Holly See :)

Album as a gift :)

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Fri, 19 Apr 2013 22:55:00 +0000

Hello to all of you - I am totally out of order these days as I have so many stamps waiting in covers to be put in some album, and I don't have it.. I can't buy them in our post office as they're selling them exclusively and only WITH our stamps, and price goes up from 61 euros and so on.. if you have some album, even smallest size one ;) I would appreciate you to send.

Little good will is enough - my address is well known ;) Thank you!

New things, new posts

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Thu, 13 Sep 2012 07:06:00 +0000

Hello everybody!

100 years no see of my words here, neither letters, I know that you are probably mad or annoyed from my side and thinking that I am neglecting your philatelic needs for busting it with EXOTIC stamps of Montenegro, but have a patience, it is all written here, I will respond to each one of you when I get the chance.

Wordcast on television (I mean the famous news on every channel) that try to give us some info about happenings - are really trying to threaten us with sentences like - it was a harsh summer, the winter can be worse than ever! - SO WHAT?! Haven't we survived big plagues, wars and crashes in relationships already? :) I think that we're gonna beat up the record in this millennium ;) In that name I've added several new blogs in my list:

Blog for health and mental advices -

than a blog for life advices -

and you all need to download wallpapers don't you? - ;)

I hope that I will see you there too ;)

Kisses till next post!

A little bit of composing ;)

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Sun, 29 Jan 2012 15:58:00 +0000

I wasn't alive to put this here and represent you a work of mine.

One night I've bumped on this video on YouTube and I was amazed with emotions

in this song, so I suddenly started to sing along with it.

After singing I decided to tape that one down and show it to the composer of song.

I waited few days before we - become friends, than I sent a inquiry about my work,

and he was eager to listen to it.. as he don't have FB acc. I decided to put it on YouTube channel with my explanation that music is from him and he was amazed with it!

It's dime to show it to you ;)

Entries #92 & 93 - Chain Stamp Exchanges 65a and 65b - reverse chains

noreply@blogger.com (Maya Freeman) — Sat, 28 Jan 2012 17:28:00 +0000

These two chains arrived separately from Hai Huang (China) and Sameer Agarwal (India) on 13.10.2010 and 25.11.2010. - starter was Mike Peters from Netherlands. The idea for this chain

came from it's starter in order to see which chain would travel faster than other and to see what is going to be exchanged in them. Of course both chains have been stuck with my address - as Sameer's have been traveling to him and was returned, so I needed to send it to next in chain and for other I've been waiting to get more Montenegrin stamps for exchange.

I loved both of them. One was about 100 commemoratives and other was with 150 definitives involved for exchange.
