Explore Cozumel´s most exciting locations with your own personal tour guide and photography instructor. Discover and capture Cozumel at its Best whilst improving your photographic skills on this fun and informal digital photography walking tour.

For all photographers: beginner or enthusiast – local or tourist.
Just bring your own camera (+manual), comfortable shoes, hat & water.

Tatjana – professional photographer since 1989 - will meet with you at a
pre-arranged location and accompany you during the tour.

Using your own camera, her hands-on 3,5 hour workshop covers the basic and fundamental techniques of digital photography whilst capturing images of the typical Mayan architectural features, old colonial streets, the Mexican flora, colourful market impressions and other quirky points of interest along the way.

Explore Cozumel, engage your imagination and add a bit of 'wow' to your shots!

The tour ends at the main square in Cozumel - for those of you who are hungry there are a few restaurants for lunch in the area.

Start Location:
Cozumel – northern oceanfront road (Avenida Rafael E. Melgar), at the monuments in front of the “Campo SEDENA”

Tour starts:
daily at 9.45 am

Duration:
approx. 3,5 hours

Tati Biermas - photography instructor of the Cozumel Photo Tour - wins 1st prize in the Conservation Photo contest : Enfoca y Click a tu Biodiversidad.

The contest was organized by the CIMAC (Conservación, Investigación y Manejo Ambiental de Cozumel)

Tati Biermas winning shot showed a rare mantis religiosa and in the background a human face watching it. Jorge Carlos Villanueva Pool (headchef of the CIMAC) said that this made the photo so outstanding and interesting.

"I was so lucky to capture this moment in my garden here in Cozumel" Tati said.

She was notified of her victory on Saturday the 5th of June 2010 at the event of the World Environment Day (WED) that was held on the main plaza in Cozumel.
It is a day that stimulates awareness of the environment and it was celebrated with a lot of exhibitions, information stands and entertainment.

Successful start of the genuine Cozumel Photo Tour

The first Cozumel Photo Tour was held last Saturday and counted 9 participants.

Tatjana was happy to welcome her group at the pyramid replica in Cozumel and after a brief introduction, the group was totally absorbed into the main subject of this sunny morning : Photography!
