1st things 1st, I just wanna establish that I'm a certified Wale advocate as his combination of intellect and swag make up his one-of-a-kind sound that has him respected worldwide. Even better for me as he shares a passion as I do, SNEAKERS. Wale's latest LP is titled "The Gifted" and shown are flyers that he had the MMG team whip up and pass out featuring his name superimposed onto an Air Jordan III “White/Cement” silhouette. Wale even took a trip to Flight Club NYC and purchased “Threes for the whole team”. "The Gifted" is set to release June 25th with 16 tracks including "88" and "Simple Man". Some cameo appearances on the album come in the form of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J., Meek Mill, 2 Chainz etc. I'm really looking forward to hearing this album as Wale gets back to his D.C. roots

This latest reemergence of the classic French athletics brand has come on the back of some great archival drops and of course through the aforementioned collaborations that have included both Sneaker Freaker and London’s very own Foot Patrol. The opening party that took place Thursday evening featured a well-attended affair which should continue the dialog for the brand and provided an ongoing energy as we anticipate much more going forward. Due to recent suspect events that has occurred recently in Oklahoma in the form of tornadoes, Nike has decided to donate all the proceeds of the Nike KD V Elite "OKC Home" colorway units sold on Nike.com from the period of May 23 and June 15 towards relief efforts of Oklahoma. Kevin Durant has already stepped up as I knew he would and donated 1 million dollars to relief efforts as did the OKC Thunder franchise. Helping someone in need who can't possibly help you back the most noble gesture a natural person can make. May the Almighty bless Kevin Durant as his efforts and his demeanor is what's needed more and more in this country. Blessings to all of the victims, victims' families and everyone who was remotely effected by the tornado.

Mr. West performed on SNL's season finale wearing a unreleased 'Red' pair of his Nike Air Yeezy 2 and the questions started rolling in. While everyone awaits a date for the 'Red' colorway, Young Jeezy’s production coordinator DJ Folk shows the Nike Air Yeezy 2 'Blackout' sample. Five years since shipping industry billionaire Anto Marden commissioned the construction of the Adastra Superyacht, the modern marvel has recently taken the crown for “Most Innovative Design” at the 2013 World Superyacht Awards. Designer John Shuttleworth chose a trimaran shape in which the boat features multiple hulls with a main hull in the middle and two smaller outrigger hulls at its side. This one just so happens to be the second largest of its kind, but the only that can be controlled by an iPad miles away from the actual vessel. Measurements taken during sea trials show that its fuel consumption at 10.5 knots can respectfully reach as low as 17 liters per hour when carrying 10% fuel and water. Its slender hulls and streamlined exterior allow the Adastra to travel faster in the open ocean. At 17 knots the Adastra has a 4,000-mile range to comfortably cross both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans at high speeds. Furthermore, the deck and superstructure is constructed from carbon fiber with Nomex honeycomb core, while the hull is a glass/Kevlar foam sandwich as the interior offers lightweight oak cabinetry and honeycomb panels. To further reduce weight Shuttleworth specifically incorporated carbon fiber hatches, toilets, port lights and ladders. If you happen to be traveling by sea in or around Indonesia anytime soon, you may spot the Adastra Superyacht as Marden will likely be traveling between the pair of islands he owns in the region.

Before these images a serious teaser was dropped by Packer Shoes earlier this year that had me very intrigued on the colorway their Kamikaze II. Now we have better images (even tho their "teaser" still) that show us the colorway somewhat and some of the accents. The silhouette features a two-toned grey upper paired with a gorgeous combination of orange, aqua blue, and dark pink tones on the midsole and altered pepper logos of the shoes. No release date yet but don't be surprised they drop real soon as the summer comes closer.
