Its odd to go for rooting a brand new Samsung Galaxy S4, the same month its released. But apart from the built in ROM, rooted devices or those posses custom firmware could explore more what the handset is really capable of. So its obvious that rooting methods and firmwares are releasing soon the phone is released. Last day we came up with the stock ROM for Galaxy S4. The process can be simplified by the use of the Odin software. Odin is an one click rooting software. There is nothing much we wanted to do to root your device using Odin software. The steps that should be followed has been explained in our older posts about rooting like,

Sony have released the source code for Sony Xperia Z on Android Open Source Project. While camera and cellular contain proprietary binaries that won't be released to the public, Bluetooth, WiFi, and SD storage as well as other various sensors are available for those people eager to experiment. With the market prevalent with devices with locked bootloaders, its an appreciable move from Sony. <div class="feedflare">

Users now have the option to run Android and the device’s stock OS. This functionality is now available for the Samsung Wave.
XDA Senior Member hero355 wrote a tutorial on how to get Android booting from the Bada device’s SD card.
The process is not that difficult but do require that users pay attention. There are several zips that will need to be downloaded and flashed in recovery. During <div class="feedflare">

Nandroid backup..How many times you might have gone through that term while searching the rooting related topics? Every rooting method or procedure starts with 'Make a Nandroid backup''. CyanogenMod has been one of the most popular custom ROMs ever. The release CyanogenMod9 was widely accepted that made CM10 the most awaited ROM. For quite sometime the unofficial releases of CM10.1 for almost all popular Android devices has been rolling out. The unofficial ROMs are mostly less stable and may not contain all the features of official build. But now the official build has released<div class="feedflare">

Multiple windows in action was the key attraction of Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The phone is capable of playing videos while browsing or reading an article in another window. By default the device is capable of displaying two running applications in a single window. But recently a Mod has released for Note 2 that can run more than two applications in a single window.

There was a build released for Galaxy Note II which was dated 12/6/12. The fully customizable new build brought some exiting features and options for customization to Note II. The same build's version 2 has now released dated 12/13/12. The changelog is a bit exiting including aroma installer, extended reboot menu, and some touchwiz applications.

Since it was released in Galaxy Note II, the other device owners were yearning to get multi-window mod in their devices. Now their wait is over. Its no longer restricted to Galaxy Note II. This multi-window functionality has been successfully ported by XDA Senior Member mythtrandyr to the Galaxy S II.

Users can get a hold of the mod in two ways. As per the norm, there is the clean way and <div class="feedflare">

Samsung Galaxy Note users can now have Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2. This is a test firmware that should be flashed using Odin. The firmware N7000XXLSA is the first JB 4.1.2 root for Galaxy Note. The update brings some great features that could be in the official Jelly Bean 4.1.2. The list includes many which were introduced by Samsung in galaxy Note 2 like Multi-View (Multi Windows Multitasking), <div class="feedflare">

Now we have an improvised unbrick tool for Optimus 2X. This tool is somewhat similar to the USB jig method of most of the Samsung devices.

This tool is based off of prior efforts, such as this tool by XDA Senior Member Homero2. XDA Forum Member ProgMag has improved previous efforts by including a number of features. As ProgMag explains:

Samsung Galaxy S2 is still the worlds most sold smart phone, but for quite some time the developers were busy out bringing 'leaks' and firmwares for Galaxy S3 and Note. Now Galaxy S2 users can taste the goodness of Android Jelly Bean. The leaked firmware build I9100XXLSJ is based on Jelly Bean 4.1.2. Since Samsung hasn't yet released anything on Official Jelly Bean for Galaxy S2, Galaxy S2 <div class="feedflare">

PACMan ROM may not be much popular among fresh android users and those are interested in rooting. But the Rom is quite interesting. PACMan Rom brings the goodness of CyanogenMod 10, AOKP, and ParanoidAndroid together in a single root. The Rom is based on AOSP. Now the Rom is available for T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 and contains the best features from all three of the above Roms. It also <div class="feedflare">
