The first thing you notice about this theme is “How simple and clean it looks” and exactly that’s what we targeted. Typography, simplicity, cleanliness, grid perfection and ample space is what this theme is all about.

The slider on the homepage helps you to highlight some special points and below lies the tabbed structure, where recent posts are shown or you can also highlight some special categories in that area.

Just below that lies our regular widgets – Subscribe, social media, etc. Under the hood lies our powerful Design settings, which helps you to change many aspects and customize the theme, as per your creativity/liking. With the help of Design settings, you can change background color, link color, control various settings like hide comments, Google Analytics code, etc Isn’t it exciting that you can do all this, without even touching the code.

We tried to create something different in Business theme category, and here is the result. Enterprise theme stands here. We suggest you take a look at live demo of this theme to know how this what do we mean by different .

Homepage

From the homepage users can view Articles by clicking on different categories. The Admin can add categories list to the Homepage through a widget. Your visitors/users can add articles through the Submit Articles button, or they can search for articles that interests them. The Author Spotlight shows the number of articles a particular Author (user) submits.

Submit Articles

Your users can submit articles easily with the help of a simple form. We tried to make this form as simple as possible. When they submit the article, an account would be created and later on they can view or edit their articles in their Dashboard.

Advanced Search

We know that article directories are not just made for users who visit the site, submit articles and go away. Therefore we have integrated Advanced Search so that visitors can easily find the Articles they are looking for.

Creating Packages

As an Admin, you can create packages with different prices, manage number of published days, or select featured or normal package. These all settings can be easily done via the Admin interface.

Integrated SEO Options

Now you don’t need to install any plugin for SEO purposes (like All in One SEO plugin). We have given SEO options for each individual post also. All the SEO options are already integrated, to help you start straight away. Now no SEO plugins are needed.

Customizing visually

Now you don’t need to delve in the coding to change the colors and fonts. You can change link color, hover color, title color, button color, button hover color, body background image, etc. Now all this can be done via our easy to use interface. Just think it and do it.

Other features

As usual, it also contains all the basic options like logo upload, favicon upload, changing page layout (like changing two column, three column), adding Google Analytics code, etc. This list is just a fraction of what the new Design settings page can do.

Here comes the GeoPlaces V3 which everyone is waiting for.

So now let’s take a look at some new features in GeoPlaces V3

Integrated Google Maps API V3 for all the pages

Many of you have requested that we should use Google Maps API v3 for the maps, instead of v2. Yes, no doubt it was a real challenge for the coding team to do this, but we were able to finally do this. Now we have completely integrated API v3 on all the pages.

Multi City functionality

Now you are not limited to add information about just one city. Go ahead and add multiple cities, or even states. This theme can manage them all. Even all the places/events will change, when you switch to a different city. You can select which city you want to view, and than all the places/events will be shown for that particular city only.

Add/Edit/Delete Custom Fields

As an Admin, you can add custom fields in the Add Listing/Event form. These custom fields will then be shown in listing page and detail page. You can control each and every aspect of this custom field. Now you can do this without touching the code.

Edit Notifications

Edit any Email and Messages from the Notifications section. Now you don’t need to delve in coding and edit each and everything. We placed all these at one place in Admin area.

Other then these, there were also many bug fixes and new functionalities are added like adding tags, changing date and time format, etc.

Simply login to your templatic member area and manage your own invoice. It was a real challenge for our coding team but customizing and generating your own pretty invoice is now possible.

To get the PDF invoice follow these steps:

1. Visit member area: Login to member area
2. Edit Profile: After logging in, click on My Profile. Fill out the profile where you can add your company name, company address, Tax / VAT ID etc. as per your wish and then click on Save Profile. Note that the same information will be printed in PDF invoice.

3. Payment History: Now click on Your Payment History. And then click on Invoice link at middle right. That’s done. You will be able to see the invoice in the next page. Just save it or print it, your wish.

If you wish to change name, company name, address or Tax ID in the invoice, simply edit your profile and download the invoice again.

So that’s it, this is how you can generate the PDF invoice.

So, what do you think about our first theme release this year?

For year 2011, we resolve to take templatic to newer heights and keep bringing in products that solves a problem and helps everyone create an easy web presence which also enables the site owner make money online :)

Going GPL

When we were PremiumThemes.net, we announced going GPL and switched back in a while which is kind of long and silly story but we as a business now realize though late, this is the right decision to take and the beginning of a new year is a perfect time.

So, here onwards, all the templatic WordPress themes are licensed under the GNU general public license. We are shortly making necessary changes in our site in order to align with this license.

Club Membership Duration

Templatic Premium Themes Club membership gives you access to all our existing themes and access to all the themes we released in next 12 months beginning from your membership date. Beginning february 2011, the 12 month duration will be changed to 3 or 6 months.

Templatic Framework and Standard Code

Templatic team is busy coding up a standard framework and advanced options panel based on Options Tree plugin by valen design so we can keep a core code and provide regular updates in all our themes.

More on this in coming weeks.

Bigger and Better Team

We will move to a newer office in the first half of this year that accommodates more people to join us in support, programming, designing and R&D in the WordPress and other area. At templatic, we are actively hiring new people at the moment. We refuse to hire anyone other than absolute best and hence, it will be a big challenge but we’re hoping for the best at the moment.

New Innovative Products

Yep, we take pride in keep exploring new paths and creating products which no one have created before – thus pushing WordPress to its max. This year too, we will continue leading this space and introduce some exciting new products in coming months. Not just the average blog and magazine themes.

Beyond WordPress

WordPress is without doubt the best CMS out there and we will keep building things for this. However, we also look forward to break the boundaries and explore another world out there. Most probably, expect announcement in this segment in the next quarter of this year.

New Partnership

We are also open and look forward to form strategic partnership with equal and like minded people/company this year in order to strengthen and take the company to newer heights. Don’t be surprised if we announce something in this regard this year.

You!

Like it always have been, our focus will be on you – as our customer and/or a well wisher. Your inputs has been integral part of our strategy and products and we will continue to do so this year as well.

Guess this sums up some of our plans for first half of this year. Wishing everyone a joyous and happy new year 2011. We are excited for the year ahead.

Here’s how it works.

2. When you click on Buy Now button, you will be taken to signup page where you register yourself and select the other two bonus themes – Absolutely free!
3. Once you complete the payment, you will have all three themes available for the price of one.

Yes, its that simple. Remember, the offer expires on 31st December, 2010 Grab themes of your choice now.

Note: You must select bonus themes at the time you checkout. Bonus themes will NOT be added separately later on.

You have waited for quite some time since we shown you preview of the Events theme. Today, we are proud to release the Events theme with much more than what we originally planned. All because of nice creative suggestions from you guys.

View Events theme: Live Demo | View Features and Buy

Events – as you can guess, is an advanced portal theme that features events in your city. Let’s take a quick screenshot tour of the theme.

Event Homepage

Events theme homepage combines most important things of an events portal. The complete page is widget ready so you can drag and drop things that you like. Advanced event seach, featured events, upcoming and past events, and featuring most important event categories are right there.

Best part? People are able to submit event on your website – and you can even charge for that if you like using 6 different payment gateways.

Category Listing

Clicking on any event category shows you list of upcoming and past events for that particular category in tabbed view. Best thing about this is you can sort events as per your choice.

The advanced events calender in sidebar shows you list of events on that specific day when you mouse hover the dates. Cool ha?

Event Details

Perhaps the most important page of this theme? We had to go through lots of UI variations and structure designs before finalizing this one. At the top, it shows you event name and important stuff like dates, timing and contact.

Right after that, you see a tabbed area where you can set the google map and image gallery of the event / venue / anything. And beyond this, you see description of the event, organizer details (and contact them using email form), registration details, social media and comments where users can interact with each other about event.

Admin Panel

Like the screenshot above mentions, events theme also have a strong backend wherein you can bulk upload events, manage pricing for people to submit event, set coupons, add events and so on.

Hope the community will love this new theme. As always, let us know your views on this theme via comments :)

Earlier last month, one of our club member – Chris Gallagher got in touch with us who happened to have thorough knowledge in building websites for garage and what they actually require and don’t require. After initial discussion we got the much needed clarity and the stuff progressed quickly from a wireframe to fully developed WordPress app for an automobile garage.

We are proud to announce launch of much awaited Automobile theme for garage owners. Ofcourse since the fields of this theme is customizable, you can use it for many other industries.

View Automobile theme:Live Demo | View Features and Buy

Let us take a quick image tour that explains why this is the best Automobile theme out there.

Homepage

Like the screenshot about mentions, the best thing about this theme is that the homepage is completely widgetized. You can drag and drop any sections that you wish to add or drag off that you don’t like. For example, if you have a small garage and wish to remove advanced search all together, simple – simply drag off advanced search widget from widgets section in wp-admin.

Like wise, wish to add “About our garage” section right below the main slider? Simply add “Text” widget and add any & all content you wish :)

Car Listing

The car listing shows all your cars along with basic description and vehicle summary fields chosen by you. A user can then sort the listed cars in several ways.

Inner page

A car details page covers every important aspect in terms of what is required for a potential buyer of a car. The screenshot above is self explanatory. Best thing about this theme is, you can manage as many custom fields you want for a vehicle.

Administration

Backend management is really powerful for your auto garage website. Take a look and read explanatory text along the way.

And finally, here’s the screen that lets you manage the fields for your autogarage site. It also lets you manage – on which page (category or listing page) you wish to show the field – or, do not wish to show :).

Enough explanation, I think now it’s time for you to explore the theme for yourself :) .

So, what do you think?

The launch of this theme has been pending since long but we are satisfied that we did justice to the final theme being released today (literally everything has been changed from the original preview we shown earlier). Hope this theme fits the auto garage market requirement as  a mass. If you be a little bit creative, this theme can be used for so many other industries :). Let us know your feedback on this theme via comments.

Please note this theme uses advanced custom panels and taxonomy. It will only work with latest version of WordPress – 3.0 or above.
