Summer on the way...

Summer is on the way..so this is the time to remove all the sweaters ,jackets ,woollen stuffs etc from wardrobe and push in light cotton cloths....So yesterday while I was checking my fabrics rack I found one old cotton salwar material which I got as a gift...The material is good ...print is good...but I didn't like it for salwar...so I was keeping it simply for years...and now I thought why shouldn't I make a skirt out of it...
just simple half umbrella skirt with elastic waist..
To make it more beautiful I added some black border also...so here is the skirt ready to wear for my summer days....

The word 'bow' in English has many meanings...A bow as in rainbow..A bow as in bows and arrows..a bow as a salute or greeting..a bow as a knot tied with two loops...
In the title I used last two bows...a salute to BOW...
And here goes the pics of bows I made with satin ribbons, grosgrain ribbons, fabrics etc embellished with buttons and beads...

Here roses are not in red...

I love making roses...I have tried it once in my daughters bday dress..and now I am trying it on her hair accessories..I got so many ribbons all of different width and tried making varieties of roses..when put together it turned so beautiful to me...

Now my pretty princess started her schooling...and I love making her stand in front of the mirror and making her hair putting bindi and all...so there I got the idea of making various hair clips and bows to adorn her hair...and I started trying magics in bows and bands...

The very next day I went for shopping...bought lot of bands, ribbons ,glues...and I stated my work...

So here are a few pics..
