Taking a cue from the terrorists at Gitmo, Adam James, Pansy Extraordinaire, allegedly took some video of his "confinement." Adam James is a joke and so is his father. I betcha Mike Leach's attorney, Ted Liggett, is just counting the days to when he will be able to depose Pansy James and his father. And what fun it will be to depose Gerald Myers!

Texas Tech did the expected today and fired head football coach Mike Leach. Tech really had no choice after stupidly suspending Leach right before a bowl game.

Unless there is more to this story, Gerald Myers and Kent Hance, et al., should start getting out their checkbooks because after paying their attorneys hundreds of thousands of dollars defending a wrongful termination suit, they will probably have to pay Leach a big chunk if the case makes it to a jury.

The other problem Tech has is that now no good coach is going to want to coach in Lubbock. Who would want to coach for a school that fires its coach when a self-absorbed Helicopter Dad like Craig James files a complaint - after praying, no less - because his son was mad at his coach? The only reason Craig James complained is because his baby boy didn't get any playing time.

Adam James simply looks like a spoiled brat. When he doesn't get his way he runs to daddy. Adam James is an adult. He is not in 3rd grade, even though he acts like it. Do Adam's teammates really want to play with Adam? Who wants to play with a crybaby?

Texas Tech really screwed this thing up.

And don't watch ESPN for any unbiased coverage on this matter.

In Defense of Mike Leach

Texas Tech is about to make a bad mistake worse. We all know that Tech is about to fire Mike Leach. Dumb old Gerald Myers has painted himself into a corner and he's fixin' to feel the wrath of Lubbock and all of West Texas when he ends up firing Mike Leach.

Gerald Myers should place a call to Fresno attorney extraordinaire, Warren Paboojian at (559) 431-5366 and ask him how much Fresno State had to pay his former client, Stacy Johnson-Klein, when he obtained a $19.1 million verdict against Fresno State when the powers at be at Fresno State decided that Johnson-Klein, who was the women's basketball coach, had to go.

What happened in Fresno will happen in Lubbock and Gerald Myers will end up looking like a bigger dumbass that he already is, which is hard to do.

Can Gerald Myers really argue that Tech is not better off with Leach as coach? Do we want to return to the Spike Dykes years? The Rex Dockery years? The Jerry Moore years? They were years in which Tech hovered around .500 plus a little. No excitement. Tough to fill the stadium.

Then Leach rolled into town and Jones Stadium has been expanded is expanding further. People talk about Texas Tech football. You have Wes Welker and Michael Crabtree kicking ass in the NFL.

Maybe Gerald Myers is jealous of Leach's track record. After all, when Myers was head basketball coach many eons ago, no one paid any attention to basketball on the Llano Estacado.

Gerald Myers is a stupid dumbass, and a chickenshit to boot. Craig James is the epitome of an obnoxious Yuppie Helicopter Dad and his crybaby son, Adam, is an embarrassment to himself and the Whole State of Texas.

Texas Tech Suspends Leach Because of Crybaby James

Texas Tech's football coach, Mike Leach, has been suspended because Adam James, a slacker crybaby who is on the football team, went cryin' to his daddy, the infamous Craig James, of SMU football death penalty notoriety, whimpering about the way he was treated by Leach after Crybaby James allegedly bumped his head.

I am totally wired-in to this story. I have sources that have provided me important documents relating to this incident.

First, some background. Craig James was known as the lesser half of Dickerjames in the early 1980's at SMU in Dallas. These Ponies wanted to be a nationally ranked team, so a bunch of Dallas rich guys started Ponying up some cash to bring good players to The Hilltop.

After all of this was exposed, SMU got the death penalty. No football for a year. Some have even claimed there hasn't been football at SMU until this year. In any case, the funny business of the early 1980's damn near killed the Ponies for good.

Eric Dickerson left and was a great running back in the NFL.

Craig James left and was a decent running back in the USFL and then the NFL.

When he retired from football, he became a broadcaster, and since then, college football fans all over the country have been tormented by James on autumn Saturdays.

Craig's progeny, Adam, was born in Yuppieville, (Plano, Texas), in the Yuppie 1980's. He grew up and was an athlete and his Helicopter father, Craig, was at every game and track meet hounding coaches and officials and otherwise playing up his role as Obnoxious Yuppie Helicopter Dad.

When it was time for the spoiled Adam to go to college and play some football, he decided to go to Texas Tech. Lord knows why Tech even wanted him. Probably because of Craig, who probably made a lot of phone calls.

So Tech took Slacker Adam who takes up space on the bench and the bus but does little else.

So when Adam bumped his head, Leach apparently didn't believe him. But since it was a head "injury" Leach had Slacker Adam hang out for a couple of practices, which did nothing to further harm Slacker Adam's tender little noggin.

Slacker Adam, the spoiled little brat that he is, didn't appreciate this, so he ran to his daddy, Craig, and said, "Daddy, why don't you make some more phone calls like you used to do?"

So Craig did, and Adam filed a complaint, and now it looks like Slacker Adams and his daddy, Helicopter Craig, have done-in the career of Mike Leach, who was the best thing to happen to Texas Tech football since E.J. Holub.

Unfortunately, I do not see how Leach can continue to coach at Tech. Kent Hance and Gerald Myers would rather have a boring .500 football team than an exciting team that can sometimes surprise Texas and OU.

Mike Leach might be kinda goofy, but that's exactly what Texas Tech needs.

Craig James should be ashamed of himself. He's probably shopping right now for a little toy for Slacker Adams who got his little feelings hurt.

Slacker Adams should be ashamed of himself, too. Who wants to play with a slacker?

What Happened to Cranky Greg?

Nothing has happened to Cranky Greg! Some bastard started this blog only to make fun of me. That person called me "Cranky Greg." Thought it'd be funny to make fun of me by creating this blog.

Well, I'm not amused. I'm taking it over. And I'll write my opinions only when I feel like it.

I hacked the former author's e-mailbox, and there were many e-mails asking what happened to Cranky Greg.

Nothing happened!! Except that I got crankier and told the old bastard to get lost!
