CRANNEY'S CORNER

Before and After

2011-02-21T10:45:00.006-07:00

Haulen's hair was out of control, I wanted to grow it out, but it just wasn't growing the way I was hoping
Bryce gave him his first hair cut, then he posed for the camera
Haulen Loves Pizza
and yes it was his second piece. The kid can eat!!
You might have noticed already for the pics that Haulen has a lazy eye, we took him to the the eye doctor and the doctor said he was very high optic and basically his eyes were overworking to be able to see anything.
As a result, he now has thick, thick glasses. We thought it would be a huge fight to keep them on, but the kid loves them! He is literally seeing a whole new world!!

Our (Free) Family Pics

2010-06-22T11:03:00.006-06:00

I am all about finding a deal, and when I found Sarah Jane Howard advertising on Craig's list for families or children to take pics of in order to build up her portfolio, I was all about it. The pictures were taken near the Snake Creek Grill in Heber. Sarah did a great Job, and you know everything is a little bit better when it's FREE! sarahjanehoward.com

Bryce did an amazing job coming in at 6th place.
Take a close look at Bryce on his beautiful Orbea bike. Its the last pic since it was then STOLEN out of the transition zone. It was a crushing moment of reality, but luckily our home owners insurance covered the bike and Bryce will be able to replace with a similar model.

A Full Circle - Back to Utah

2009-05-27T16:23:00.002-06:00

I wanted to give everyone a quick update on some recent activity in our life. Megan and I are moving back to Utah next week after a good amount of thought and a lot of prayer. I have a new job in Spanish Fork so we will be moving to get closer to that, and of course, our family. It was kind of a last minute thing so it's been hectic trying to get everything squared away in only two weeks. We are really excited to be closer to home and to have family and friends just a few minutes away! We are moving into a condo in Payson for a few months and then will be renting a beautiful home in Spanish Fork starting in August. We will miss all our wonderful friends in Rhode Island and hope they will stay in touch with us! We will also try to keep everyone updated on Meg and the baby as she is only a few months away!!!

March to May update

2009-05-11T06:09:00.009-06:00

Sorry, kinda of a crapping photo ,but i just had Bryce snap it quickly last night so I could update this blog. The sign says 30 weeks.
So Bryce and I decided one night that we wanted to go camping... our destination, our bedroom. We fit our 3 man tent on our bed, got out the sleeping bags and looked at the baby name book with our flashlight. Maybe next time we will ruff it in the outdoors, but this is perfect for the pregnant lady( close to the bathroom)
Awe, the many reasons why I love Bryce, he is so flippin talented!!
We hope that the baby isn't the size of a bowling ball, but if so I will look like Bryce in this pic. Maybe next time I will have him carry the baby, he looks good preggers
My favorite photo of the night, Ella just learned to roll her tongue .She is definitely an Eisenhart
My awesome parents!

My brother and Ella( my niece) at her 2nd birthday party.
I was 20 1/2 weeks in this photo at the wedding. It was such a beautiful wedding and I' m so glad we were able to take a trip to Utah for it.

19 Weeks Going on 24 Weeks

2009-03-25T16:45:00.004-06:00

Sorry everyone, it's been forever since we posted something on the blog. Megan is finally starting to look like a cute little pregnant lady as we head into the final four months of her pregnancy. She has started feeling better, but now has to deal with our energetic boy kicking her in the ribs all day, I wonder where he got the hyperactivity from :) Oh yeah, we're having a boy in case you didn't get the memo!

We are really excited and are just hoping that we can sell our condo and get back to the west coast sometime soon. I started a new job this month and will eventually be working out of Spanish Fork, UT as soon as we can get out

of our condo... we're praying everyday that someone will buy our place!!!

Megan at 19 Weeks... she's now reaching 24 weeks

I'm not pregnant, just fat...

Megan Got A Tattoo!

2009-02-18T18:11:00.004-07:00

I'm such a loving husband :0) Over the weekend we got this stick-on tattoo, the one's you stick on with a little bit of water. Well, Megan was on the computer and I got the tattoo wet in the bathroom, snuck up behind her, and smacked that thing dead center on her forehead! It was so funny that I had to take a quick picture. She hit me pretty hard as payback so I think we're even now. Love you babe!

Salem - Ice Festival

2009-02-08T21:05:00.005-07:00

Let me tell you, if you've never been to Salem you are really missing out... actually, you might be okay to be honest. Megan and I went to Salem Massachusetts on Saturday to check out their ice and chocolate festival and soon realized that it wasn't much of either. We had a fun time, took a few pictures, read up on the Salem witch trials at the local museum, and had dinner at a little hub that had a picture of a pig on the menu. It was fun to get out of the house and enjoy the 40 degree weather we we're having, which is quite a bit warmer then the subzero temperatures that we have been experiencing in January.

We're Pregnant!

2009-01-11T14:19:00.008-07:00

"I love it when you call me big papa!"

In case you didn't hear Megan is expecting July 25th. We are so excited and have been dying to tell everyone for months now. Below are the first and second ultra-sound pictures... you can actually tell it's a baby in the second set of pic's where as before it looked like a little bean. That's been our nickname for the baby, "Bean."

Here are some funny/interesting facts about Megan's pregnancy:

1) How did she tell me?

She called me up at work sometime after lunch and said, "So what are we doing in July?" I responded, "I don't know, that's next summer babe... why?" She then told me and she was pregnant and I was trying to sound excited but I also didn't want everyone around me to know yet so I was trying to keep my voice down. I was so pumped that day and everyone was probably wondering why :)

2) What was Megan's first craving?

We were coming home from the temple and Megan made me stop at McDonald's and buy a hamburger, she was craving beef!! As she was munching on the burger she starts to cry and makes me promise I won't tell anyone she just ate at McDonalds. I just laughed and took a picture of her with my cell phone (I'm such a loving husband) :)

3) Has Megan been sick?

Let's just say she had some intimate time with the toilet over the past three months. She has been getting extremely nauseous at night and really tired during the day. One day she was folding clothes in our room and I walked in a few minutes later and she had fallen asleep in the midst of the folding the clothes laundry.

Christmas and New Years Eve!

2009-01-06T20:06:00.009-07:00

Christmas and New Years Eve was spent in the comfort of our little home in Rhode Island this year. I couldn't take time off during the holidays so we enjoyed what time we did have off with close friends and of course, each other! Surprisingly it was quite relaxing not having to rush to different families houses or deal with crying children, though that is all good fun;) We spent Christmas Eve at Grant and Rehana's house, friends from our ward, signing Christmas songs, eating good food, and enjoying company.

New Years Eve was soooo COLD!!! It was in the single digits most the day and some of our friends got stuck in Time Square in NYC in below freezing temperature... let's say they didn't last to long :) Megan and I had a nice dinner at "3," a steak house in Franklin, MA, then drove to our friend Grant & Rehana's house to meet up with our friends. We spent most the night playing Rock Band and eating more food... I know, exciting stuff! We had a great time and I have sense become severely addicted to Guitar Hero on XBOX 360. Megan has caught me up at 2AM, laying on the floor with hardly no strength, rocking out.

Thanksgiving

2008-12-04T19:42:00.003-07:00

There's nothing like going home for the holidays! Megan and I made the long journey from the East Coast to our native land over Thanksgiving and had a great time (except for the flight which was horrible). We spent the first half of the week with Meg's family and the last part with my family. It was nice having everyone so close and we got to see almost everyone we had planned on seeing.

We did the usual things over the break that I'm sure most others do: "Black Friday" shopping, eating at my favorite restaurant Cafe Rio, and stuffing our faces with turkey and pie. I ate so much over the break that I have decided I am going on a diet until Christmas... we'll see how well I do :)

On Saturday my brother in law Chad took the guys fishing and as you can tell it was a little chilly! We caught three fish and decided we couldn't handle the cold anymore, so we headed home. Saturday is the day the guys get to go do something sense we let all the girls shop all day on Friday. I hadn't fished for such a long time so it was really fun.

On Monday night we met up with some friends from Utah State and had a great time chatting over dinner at P F Changs. Everyone looked great and it was fun seeing all the new babies and how big they had all gotten sense Labor Day. Thanks for making time to go to dinner with Megan and I!! We miss you all and hope to see everyone again soon.

The simple things in life...

2008-11-19T19:44:00.002-07:00

I've been thinking about the simple things in life and how those things are what makes life enjoyable. Here are a few of the simple things I enjoy:

Stars on a dark night

Hanging upside down on the swings as a kid

Playing basketball in the rain (loved it as a kid)

Shooting hoops on Sunday with my Dad

The smell of potato harvest

The Idaho wind (though most of the time I hated it)

Driving in the mountains

The first snow storm of the year

The first sunny day after a long winter

My wife's beautiful smile

A song that takes you back to a favorable memory

Laying on the grass

The smell of a new car

Laying on the carpet as a kid watching cartoons

Christmas morning (still exciting as an adult)

Catching up with an old friend

Home

Yeah, this might be a little cheesy for a guy to be posting but oh well. I guess after a long day busting my tail to make money, sell technology, get on con calls, read emails, and deal with angry managers, all I can say is that's not what makes me truly happy in life. It's the little things like the gospel, family, friends, and my relationship with God that brings true peace. That's it, that's all I got tonight. I'm going to go enjoy

some TV time with my wife and give her a big smooch on the lips :)

Oh yeah, and there's nothing like a good butt picture!

Happy Halloween

2008-11-02T13:40:00.007-07:00

For those that don't know, I (Megan) looove Halloween!! It is one of my favorite holidays and I have been so excited about it all month. Halloween night Bryce and I just had dinner and watched a scary movie ( a Hitchcock of course), but on Saturday we went to a little Halloween party at out friends, Mike and Holly apartment. Bryce dressed up as old Greg,( it a British comedy on you tube thats kinda weird, but also pretty funny.) I busted out an old dance costume that I wore for the 2002 Winter Olympics medals ceremony. I was trying to look like some sort of super hero. All and all we had fun and I look forward to the next Halloween

This is the real old Greg and this is Bryce being him

Bryce's parents came out to visit again and we are always so excited to have a little piece of home out here in sweet Rhode Island. Even though we have lived out here for a year and half and have been to Boston many times, we had never been on a duck tour of Boston. If you have ever been to Boston you know what I am talking about because these crazing boat/vehicles are everywhere. The tour went all over the city and then the coolest part was it drives right into the Charles river. You get an awesome view of the city . Afterwards we walked around the city hitting up the main hot spots Boylston st, Newbery st( like soho in NYC) Fennell Hall and Quincy Market.
Hiding in a huge pot at Anthropology and then when we walked out of the store Bryce's dad was sitting on the street reading a newspaper he found. We were crackin up because he looked like a bum.

I was picked to help out a street performer in front of Quincy Market. I put him in a straight jacket, and then tied him up with rope. He then asked for a kiss on the cheek, but he turned his his face and I ended up kissing him on the lips. Sorry Bryce

Anniversary of our first kiss

2008-10-22T07:57:00.003-06:00

My cute cute husband remembered the day we had our first kiss Oct 17th( i didn't even remember, oops) When I walked in the door after work there were a dozen roses, a card, a hot bath drawn and my favorite food for dinner( Thai, mmmm). I am so grateful for my husband and his thoughtfulness. Thanks babe!!
