In such a situation, we often call a locksmith to let us in. well, there is a chance that he might have used the bumping technique to open the door. A bump key is a specially crafted master key that can open quite a lot of pin and tumbler locks.

A majority of the locks these days consist of a pin and a tumbler. Therefore it is essential to know more about these bump keys available in the market. There are a lot of sources on the internet that sell these bump key sets as well, however these could also be a root to several illegal activities. In the recent months, a lot of burglaries have been reported using this technique since it happens to be the easiest way to break the locks.

A bump key typically works by knocking off the lock cylinder as you apply pressure to the back of the lock plug at the same time. In such conditions, the pin would falter and thus open the lock, just like a normal key. In order to protect your house from fraudulent bumping keys, you need to get higher-quality locks installed.

Formerly, the homes were equipped only with the five pin locks rather than the existing six pin locks. The older locks were easier to bump and the locksmith would rather recommend something to improve your security. Six pin locks are actually impossible to bump, however there are ways listed on the internet to work around it. a security alarm on top of the traditional locks would be the best way to secure your home while you’re away.

Hi5 Vs Facebook

Though hi5 and facebook both are of same kind but still there is a big different in popularity. Numbers speak for itself and the number of members in Hi5 is no even near to that or Facebook. Facebook probably is the biggest and most popular social networking site. Why is there no hype for hi5? Well, there are several reasons. Some may even prefer hi5 for facebook but then it all depends on whom you ask the question. In some countries HI5 is more popular. Like in Portugal everyone uses Hi5. It has like 90% market share. Anyways if we talk in the whole world, Facebook sure beats the hell out of Hi5. Few of the advantages of facebook over hi5 are as follows:

The first and foremost is facebook is an application (app) platform. Developers built social applications on Facebook Platform that millions of people use everyday. The games, quiz, everything you use or participate in are likely an application. Hi5 lacks this feature. In it you can’t develop your app.

The ads on Hi5 go beyond intrusive. Every other time you refresh a page an ad blocks half the screen, forcing you to close it to see what you want to see. This is not the case with Facebook. There are almost no ads you can seen in your Facebook.

Hi5 is too flashy and also seems to be 'over customizable'. Usually, on a blog or network or whatever, you have set professional looking themes, or it's customizable only by people who know what they're up to, be it CSS or whatever. Hi5 has the unenviable ability to turn a profile into the most hideously monstrous looking page in less than a minute. They're often unreadable. Facebook on the other hand is not customizable. There are ways you can customize it but it can only be done my experts.

Also most of the features of Hi5 were copied from other social networking sites. Many say they don’t have anything original. Even the chat service that has recently been started in Hi5 is copied from Facebook.

Hi5’s system most of the times it doesn't work. E-mail notifications rarely work (like...2 or 3 times a year maybe). Most profile editing or message sending or message deleting pages don't work at the first time. I had to try at least 10 times to be able to delete a message some days ago.

These are just few reasons why people who like facebook comment about not being present in hi5. I’ve yet to hear some serious advantaged of hi5 over facebook except I’ve heard some saying hi5 is very easy to use lol. I know it’s really funny. But again it’s their perception. One can make whatever stupid excused if one doesn’t like anything.

Win A Brand New Wii And Wii Fit

Before I say anything about winning a brand new Wii and Wii Fit; let me first ask you a question? Which is the best search engine of the world? The most probable answer I’d be getting is “Google”. Of course, for me also Google is the best search engine. But some people prefer “Yahoo” and “MSN” also.
Anyways, there is a new search engine that I struck upon today called LeapFish. The name is like a jumping fish and the meaning will be clearer to you once you start using this search engine. Basically, you can just jump from one search engine result to another (Google to Yahoo or MSN or vice versa) for the same keyword without going to another search engine at all. The result will be displayed as you type in the keywords (result will be changing as you type) according to the search engine selected.
Ok, LeapFish.com is holding a contest in which you can easily enter and get a chance to win a brand new Wii and Wii-Fit. All you need to do it follow a simple process. Just set your computer’s homepage to LeapFish.com and get 1 raffle. Then you go to http://www.leapfish.com/win/ and fill up the form and enter the contest. If you add another computer, you get another raffle and if you invite someone and he/she enters the contest you get another raffle. More raffled will increase your chance of winning. If you’re already an existing member, just click on “Already Entered? Add Another Computer.” below the form and enter your screen name and add computer. And on March 23, 2009 one raffle will be randomly selected to win a brand new Wii and Wii Fit. So, what are you waiting for? Hurry up and start collecting your raffles.

AVG Anti-Virus Pro 8.0.233 ( Free till year - 2018)

Get complete protection from the most dangerous threats on the internet - worms, viruses, trojans, spyware, and adware.

Antivirus and antispyware protection for Windows from the world’s most trusted security company. The DevTeam has released yellowsn0w, the world's first iPhone 3G unlock. I’ve heard the software is automated and you can easily unlock the iPhone 3G with a fly. You must upgrade to the latest baseband 02.28 though in order to use it. It is possible to use it with the older baseband on firmware 02.27 but the DevTeam has exclusively restricted it to work with the newest baseband. So before trying it, upgrade to firmware 2.2 with the 02.28 baseband.
Thank not to God but to DevTeam that now, people aren’t bound to use AT&T.

Share Your Experience At Gambling-Forum

I personally don’t have any kind of experience with online gambling but I heard some of my friends got their credit card hacked when they entered some online casino site’s video slots. I don’t know if I can ever trust any online gambling casino but there are many who like to waste their money in it. I shouldn’t be saying it’s wasting your money though. I have also seen people who have earned a jackpot online just sitting in their homes but then they must be pretty lucky I guess.
Overall online gambling is a pretty dangerous sport even if you are seeking for just a few minutes of time pass. So, it’s better to learn from others mistake instead of making a mistake yourself and wasting your time plus money fooling around looking for good casinos. Well, that’s when Gambling-Forum.com helps you out giving you the opportunity to communicate with other casino players so that you too don’t make the same mistakes that others have done. As people say “You learn from your mistakes”, it’s better you learn from other’s mistakes. Gambling Forum is activated by online casino players and it is devoted for them. People share their online gambling experiences here so that you don’t do the same mistakes that they have done and you too can make them aware of the mistake that you have done so that they don’t do it.

Tech. Well, actually they are available in Europe and Asia only for now but will soon be available worldwide. It’s been a long since Nokia has released a touch-screen mobile phone so I hope it works for Nokia. Anyways, Nokia has stated that it’s the world’s most advanced mobile computer, which will transform the way people connect to the Internet and to each other. With QWERTY keypad, 5 mp camera, touch-screen display, 16:9 widescreen display, DVD quality video capture, continuous playback time of up to 1.5 days, supports of up to 48 GB of storage, including 32 GB of on-board memory, expandable with a 16 GB microSD card for music, media and more and the big price tag of €550 ($695), Nokia released this new flagship on Dec 2,2008. The drawback though pointed out by the experts from Gizmodo is about the resistive touchscreen which were immediately noticeable when dragging widgets around the desktop.

A resistive touchscreen relies on pressing two layers of screen together with a fingernail or stylus to register a signal, so it is not as responsive as a capacitive screen which is driven by the natural electricity in your fingers. - Gizmodo

Anyways, my good luck is with Nokia N97 but it would have worked it the price was a little less around $400.

Portable Desk For Your Laptops

Are you tired of putting your laptop in your laps. Just because some idiot named it Lap-Top it doesn't mean that it's a compulsion that you put it in your lap. Well, for those of you who want some place for you to put your laptops and notebooks, I've got just the thing - Portable Laptop Desk. Just as the name says it's a desk for your portable laptops. You can carry it around with your laptops wherever you go and then when it's odd or when you are tired of putting your laptop in your lap you can open up the desk, place the laptops on it and use it. One feature that I personally like about this desk is that there are 2 fans which means now there is no tension of the laptop heating. I know my laptop turns off several times when I use it for long duration.
Specifications:

Main Function: Portable computer work station for laptop computers

Construction: Aluminum with powder-coated flat black finish

Fans: 2 fans
Speed: 2500 RPM
Air Flow: 30 CFM

Power Source: USB

USB Type: 2.0

OS System: ALL

Total Dimension (folded closed): 560mm x 290mm x 50mm (L x W x H)

Total Dimension (tall desk position): 452mm x 290mm x 555mm (L x W x H)

Fan Dimensions: 80mm x 80mm x 12mm (each)

Make Windows XP automatically login

It’s kind of an old trick but for newbie it might be of interest. The girl I love doesn’t seem to care about me at all. She’s always thinking of someone else who doesn’t seem to care about her (which is good for me). Anyways, I think that’s because of her poor vision. Actually, the doctors had recommended her a prescription glass but she doesn’t wear it because she thinks it doesn’t go with her looks and personality.
Today as I was browsing through the net, I struck upon this site of Zenni Optical where I saw some cool holiday frames (well then looked too stylish to be prescription glasses) and right at the moment it just hit me and I thought …Man!!! I got to have these for my girl. And look how lucky was I? The glasses were stylish but so cheap and Zenni Optical would ship it anywhere in the world. I was shocked at first. How could they sell it for cheap? But that is none of my concern.
My girl looks a little like Korean actresses and her favorite color is pink so I thought I’d give her something pink like the one below.
I hope she would like it and also that her vision is clear after she wears it.

Happy Birthday Firefox

I am a little late but still it’s better now than never. So, many happy returns of the day to Mozilla Firefox. Actually, the b’day was on 9th Nov but I forgot on that day. Just remembered it today when I went through their official Firefox blog. Else I would have missed it. So, 4 years mommy Mozilla gave birth to Firefox 1.0 which now have grown 3.1 beta. Just for the record, FF is my best browser. I’ve been using it for about 2 or more years now and it’s been a wonderful journey. I hope Firefox will continue to be the best browser in the world. But it is also one of the most sensitive things to look after. A small mistake and you will be in my friend’s place. Just a couple of days ago my friend’s blog got banned…want to know the reason behind it… because of high volume of traffic on his blog. Now that was just so stupid. I couldn’t help laughing when I heard this reason but this is a serious problem which I think many bloggers are facing.
Few weeks ago, I wrote a post entitled ‘A must see blog on web hosting’ in which I had mentioned about WebHostingGeeks.com. It’s a very handy site when it comes to finding the perfect web hosting service. Even I am thankful to it as I also got to know about my current hosting company form here. They have listed out the top 10 ten webhosting providers based on customer satisfaction, affordability, reliability, dependability, site uptime/downtime, and technical support, etc. Also they are giving out valuable information on which hosting plan is better for you.
So, what I am suggesting to my readers again is don’t just go for cheap hosting or it’s not always the expensive ones that are better. The most important thing is that your requirement should be fulfilled and to know what your requirements are you have to do details analysis and who better guide you than Web Hosting Geeks.

USB Skeleton Necklace Flash Drive

Just look at this cool USB gadget. Previously known as the HTC Dream, T-Mobile G1 is a smartphone designed by High Tech Computer Corporation of Taiwan. It struck the store on October 23 and caused hundreds of people to wait almost 10 hours to get this phone.
G1 is packed with features like 3G support, 3.2 inch LCD with 320x480 resolution, QWERTY keyboard, Qualcomm 528 MHz CPU, exchangeable 1150 mAh Li-Ion battery, 3.1 mp camera, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The applications are also more than you can ask for (all Google applications and services like Gmail, Google Maps, Google Search, Google Talk, etc) and since Android is an open source OS unlike other mobile operations systems, the apps will be open source too. Anyways right now G1 is available in 3 colors – bronze, black and white. It sure is hoped to be a tough competitor for Apple’s iPhone but let’s see what future will decide. You never know what may come next.

A must see blog on web hosting

Well, I am a blogger and though I have not hosted this site in my own hosting (that’s because this was my first blog and at that time I didn’t have money to buy hosting), I have known and realized the fact how much hosting really matters. I do have many other blogs that I have hosted myself and it’s been a big challenge for me. Many times I have become victim of poor bandwidth, slow server, poor back up, regular hosting down and even banned once because my site was getting high traffic.
I am very thankful though to Web Hosting Geeks. It is here I got my latest hosting company Bluehost which is a very popular hosting service provider. I read the reviews about it and got quite a positive impression. Also I must say I am very satisfied till now.
Web Hosting Geeks have started a blog on hosting and though this webhosting blog is new it has some very good articles which I’m sure will be very helpful if you are looking to host your site. I am very eager to know where this blog will go in future so I have subscribed to it in my reader. I hope they keep on giving the good information on hosting and lastly best of luck for the future.

Tech. Just take a look at this example. I mean who would have thought what more an iPhone would need. Not me?? I always thought it was a complete phone with all the features anyone would want in a mobile phone but for Kazu Terasaki it was not just enough. He wanted his iPhone to walk and he did so too.

All who don’t know Kazu Terasaki, he is a Japanese software engineer working in the Silicon Valley area. He was involved in a product called PuchiRobo which is another robot kit that enables you to turn anything from a beer can to a tissue box into a walking robot and he has used the same technology to turn an iPhone into a walking robot. The robot is not complete though and need a PC to move but he’s thinking to come up with a chip for that too to make it automatic. I watched the video and the iPhone robot also had cute moving eye balls which again he had created for iPhone.

Tech. Reasons are numerous. I feel that you can’t live your day to day life with that much of an ease when you need to wear spects. You always have to be cautious and later on they become your habit. Contact lens can be an alternative but they are lots of things that need to be taken care of with them.
Anyways, prescription glass is more like a necessity. Without them your vision won’t be good and life without a good vision will be miserable. By the way, if someday I ever need to wear spectacles then I know where I’ll get my eyeglasses from. Zenni Optical will be where I’ll purchase my prescription glasses from. They offer a huge selection of stylish prescription glasses online starting from $8. How so cheap??? Well, they sell only their own manufactured frames directly to the customers with no middlemen and almost no advertising cost.
Even the famous US talk show The Clark Howard show has talked about and recommended Zenni Optical. So, from this you can presume how much trustworthy it is. They have some new frames that have just arrived from among which I liked few very much. For those who are looking for glass frames, visit ZenniOptical.com as soon as possible.

Tech. That means I didn’t require any web space to host this blog. It pretty cool but that was before that I came to know about WordPress which I personally feel is the best blogging platform. But the sad thing is that it provides free hosting for its subdomains only. So, to publish a blog in your own domain in WordPress, you need a hosting. Now that thing is that there are many free hosting providing services which I have tried too. But it was a tragic experience when a free hosting company where I hosted one of my domains got bankrupt. And it was just the beginning. They didn’t had any backup system…oh it was such a nightmare. All my months work was gone in minutes. I had to do everything from scratch.
Still, I had to find a web hosting but which one was the question that scared me. Then I came across few articles on web hosting in Web Hosting Rating. The articles were really an eye opener. Webhostingrating.com also had listed out and rated best web hosting providers based on customer satisfaction, affordability, reliability and dependability, site uptime and downtime, technical support provided, etc. I then choose one of the hosting based on customer satisfaction and I must say my decision wasn’t wrong. It’s been more than 6 months and there hasn’t been even a single complain. There are no words to thanks Web Hosting Rating. If you too are having difficulty finding the perfect web hosting for your needs do check webhostingrating.com. I’m sure it’ll be a great help.
