First time trying glossier: worth the hype?

Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all well, todays post is very exciting because its my first time trying out glossier and honestly I am over the moon. I've had my eye on glossier for years and always held back, but after looking at hundreds of raving reviews i decided it was time to take the leap. I decided to get 2 sets because the saving was amazing I highly suggest choosing the sets over a single purchases especially if you know you want multiple items. The brand is based around natural very easy beauty that's meant to enhance rather than mask.

Haloscope in topaz- This a lightweight stick highlighter with a moisture core filled with nourishing ingredients. I absolutely love this product, it gives me this beautiful subtle dewy glow. This is the deepest shade which looks very natural on my skin, for a more intense highlight i think the shade quartz would look amazing and i have been thinking about picking it up soon.

Cloud paint in dawn- This liquid blush is extremely light weight and blendable. I was shocked how easy this was to work with, I'm not too experienced with liquid blush but this was incredibly easy to use. I really enjoyed the finish this gave to my skin, a very beautiful wash of colour.

Boy brow in brown- Now its safe to say the boy brow was huge when it was first released and for good reason, this brow gel is incredible. It keeps your brows in place whilst giving a thickening effect, I loved using this product for a natural look when I'm on the go, also I use this over my favourite brow pomade if I want a going out look.

Lash slick in black- A very simple natural looking mascara that's great for the daytime. The bristles did a great job of separating lashes and avoiding a clumpy look. Quick note its not volumizing in anyway, this wont give a false lash effect or add fibres to the lashes.

Lip-gloss in clear- This is another bestseller for glossier and I can't get over how gorgeous the packaging is. This is very simple gloss not too sticky or heavy, nice and light on the lips.

Overall I am so happy with everything I Purchases, the biggest thing for me was how easy everything was to use, all products can be used with your fingers for a very quick application. Tom ford eyeshadow quad review

Hello beautiful people, so today I wanted to do a quick review of the tom ford quad in leopard sun. I've always been curious about luxury beauty and always wondered if the product is worth the price tag. So when i was going on holiday last year I was on the look out for a small compact eye shadow palette that was travel friendly and thought I would dip my toe in the luxury market. First things first the shadows aren't strongly pigmented which was disappointing considering the hefty £64 price tag, but on the flip side the palette is incredibly beginner friendly and easy to use. The palette is great for travel and people on the go, the colours complement each other well and you can create a look in minutes. Honestly this is perfect for a natural day time look if you're more into complicated cut creases and gorgeous halo eyes this might not be for you. I personally love really intense extra pigmented shadows for pictures but for work go for a simple look because of time. Before you try a luxury shadow I would suggest swatching in store and take lots of time to consider the purchase. Overall I do think you can find a cheaper dupe on the market for a much lower price and I've even discovered very similar colours in my collection with a better formula. The point of luxury products is that the innovation or formula justifies the price but I think there are other products out there that are worth the splurge.

Bali travel diary

Hello people! I hope you're all are coping well in lockdown, don't be fooled these pictures are from September 2019 when I was lucky enough to go to Bali for a short girls trip. We stayed in seminyak & ubud and honestly the trip was gorgeous.The great thing about Bali is that you can get brilliant accommodation for a very affordable price, and the hospitality is top notch. Seminyak is brilliant for socializing, there are a lot of tourist but it has a very fun energetic vibe which I loved. Ubud was much more slow paced and relaxed, and had brilliant attractions.I highly reccomend travel around bali rather than stay one place because there is so much beauty to explore, and so many unique spots to be discovered . Now that the government are slowly lifting lockdown restrictions I am looking forward to travel in the future.

South Africa: Heaven on earth

Hello people!

So recently I had a work trip to south Africa and oh my goodness! I think I've found heaven on earth. I don't know where to begin, the whole experience was incredible from the food to the attention to detail I highly recommend you check out South Africa. My favourite place was Solomans beach : a mini heaven of penguins, yes penguins just chilling in 30 degree weather. We also visited the Aquila private game reserve and went on the most exciting safari, I especially loved how much knowledge our guide had and he spoke with such passion you could tell he truly loved his job.

Now if you are vegan or vegetarian Cape town is the place for you, the amount of plant based restaurants you can find on one street is really commendable. Some of the nicest meals I had were plant based , all the ingredients were fresh and the recipes were innovative and original. Also at our hotel we had an incredible view of table mountain, which was also a stunning attraction that is a must-see.

The must have palette for fall

Morphe 3502 Second Nature Palette

Hello people!

I hope you are all well, today I wanted to share my go-to palette that I've used nearly everyday in autumn. So I always go through phases in terms of what colours I wear on my eyes and recently I've been loving browns, burnt orange and shimmers. And the second nature palette has all those things add a buttery high pigmented formula with a cheap price tag ladies and gentlemen we have the dream fall palette. I must say I am a huge morphe fan mainly because they offer high quality shadows at an affordable price also they always have great colour combinations that make it easy to use just 1 palette for multiply looks.

Another reason I love this palette is because you can do a natural day time look but also a super glam graphic eye which is something I find crucial to a good palette . The palette is £23 which is one of the cheapest in my collection, I have paid £50 plus on palettes that had terrible pigment and reacted to my skin. I really like the idea of brands being accessible to a wide range of people be it teenagers just getting into makeup or a professional make up artist.

Overall I would recommend this palette purely based on its versatility and price, the only con I have is one of the shadows texture is inconsistent with the others accept from that I have no complaints.

Abu Dhabi: Luxury capital

Hey guys!

I hope you are all okay, first a huge apology for lack of posting this year my job has took me all around the world and I've bearly had time to sit and blog everything right away. So earlier this year I was incredibly lucky to travel to Abu Dhabi one of the most luxurious places in the world.I stayed at the Radisson blu yas island hotel which was stunning, the staff were incredibly polite and helpful and the food was out of this world. I've got to say the quality of hotels in general were incredible , the ones we ate at had amazing food and décor.

I've got to say Abu Dhabi met all of my expectations, the weather, food, people and entertainment were all at such a high standard I was in heaven. I would recommend this holiday for people with mobility issues, the hotels literally has everything you will need within a 1 mile radius. I say this because I really want to take my mum the next time I go and she struggles with knee/hip issues and I think she would still have an incredible time staying mostly within the hotel. So I have to mention the breakfast buffet, I've never seen such a huge variety of food in my life and everything I ate tasted so good. There were 3 restaurants on site with different cuisines, the only downside was the food was quite pricey. Also the spa was absolutely stunning the Jacuzzi area was free and very peaceful, the generally ambience off the hotel spa was so luxurious they really paid attention to every detail.

Another plus was that Dubai was a 45 minute drive away, we went to the Dubai mall which was a jaw dropping experience. It was 8 floors of shopping heaven, they had a aquarium, ice rink and mini souk inside the mall. For me the united emirates is unrivalled in terms of luxury and extravagance everything is catered to make you extremely comfortable.

Hey guys! if you haven't tried Korean skincare yet I suggest you start NOW and the best way to begin: Sheet masks. Now Korean skincare has always been innovitve and ahead of it's time but recently they has been a surge of k-beauty being sold in the U.K. Sheet masks has always been my favourite part of my skincare routine because I don't have to wash my face afterwards. These masks are some of my most current purchases, by far my favourite was Leaders in clearing, my skin felt transformed after using it and the next day it was glowing.

The best place to get sheet masks: Yesstyle its cheap, has lots of variety and has some of the popular brands. Now I realise it can be very confusing when starting out but I would just go for what your skin needs eg: hydrating, clearing, brightening. If your worried about how to incorporate it into your routine then I would begin with just including a sheet mask 2-3 times a week and see the results. I am planning to do a more in depth post about ingredients and the best mask material soon but i'm currently testing them all out!.

Hello people ! I hope you are all having a great January, so far its going okay just in desperate need of some sun. So flashback to 8 months ago when I first saw the off white industrial belt and just swooned , it was the first time I saw a designer piece that I wanted instantly. Now I've never owned a designer item because I was always scared of spending hundreds on a item only for it to go out of style in the next few months or damaging it. But when I saw the belt I felt as though I found my soul mate, a soul mate worth £345 !. I promised myself that I would save up for it but every time I would check it was constantly sold out.

So I decided it was time to get a dupe and low and behold urban outfitters comes to my rescue at the low cost of £12. I just love this belt because it goes so well with my favourite dress which I've been wearing non stop all winter. What are some of your winter staples ?

Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Palette

Hello! I hope you are all having an amazing December today I'm reviewing the Jaclyn hill morphe palette which I have seen ALL over social media. This was constantly sold out everywhere until the babes at beauty bay did a massive re-stock and I jumped in the virtual queue and waited almost 2 hours before I could get it in my basket. But don't worry it's currently in stock for £37 at beauty bay and Morphe.com . The main reason I wanted this palette is because I saw how pigmented the swatches were on youtube and fell in love. So you get 35 eyeshadows in total in different textures the colour pay off is amazing and the formula is very creamy.

The one reason I love this palette is the pop of colour at the bottom left , you have a royal blue, purple, turquoise and a deep emerald green. The shade range is so diverse that you can create endless looks for different occasions. The shade names aren't actually on the palette but you can access them on the morphe website in a PDF download. I really like formula of the shadows the are extremely creamy and easy to blend, and when you swirl your brush in the pan there is barely any kick back which is amazing. I love that Jaclyn wasn't afraid to add bold colours to the palette , but if you just wear natural make up on a daily basis this palette offers a wide range of everyday wearable shades. Overall I would highly recommend this palette I have loved playing around with all the shades and creating bold looks, if you are on the fence whether you should buy it or not I say BUY IT!!

Hello! its currently 5am and my brain is being hit by a barrage of thoughts: I need to upload a post! I need my Instagram to be more consistant! I haven't posted on twitter in ages!. Exhausting right? now I don't want to speak on the behalf of all bloggers but I feel like most of us go through that frustration stage where we don't feel like we're doing enough blog wise. The last month was incredibly hetic ( working in Canada ) and in hindsight I should have prepared my posts before flying out , I felt like my blog was left on the back burner which I wasn't happy about. Also I've found myself comparing my work ethic to others and felt I wasn't working hard enough.

Now I know comparing is incredibly toxic and usually I don't but when you have a new project to focus on it feels like other goals go unachieved. But I don't want this post to negative and winey I want you guys to know that when life takes an unexpected turn rather than beat yourself up get back on the horse, start working. In the past I would waste tremendous amount of time thinking of the things I could have done and where I could've been if I started earlier. And I realised how incredibly counter productive that was I remember starting a project and then getting really angry at myself for not starting earlier and not coming up with the idea faster .It wasn't until this year I began to focus on my self-talk and realised how negative my inner voice was, so I made a conscious effort to always forgive myself and remind myself that its okay to let things slip sometimes. So that's what I plan do , get back up start grinding and achieving my blogging goals.

Hello! I hope you are okay, I wanted to do a post on whats been happening in my life and plans for the future. So first things first I've spent the last month in Canada, I was offered a acting job based in Montréal which was incredible. The food was AMAZING! specifically their brunch , I have never eaten such delicious food in my life, also the bread and cheese was out of this world. I will be going back at the end of December so I will bring my camera and show how amazing the city is.So I went crazy during black Friday and purchased a huge amount of clothes, so this means I will be posting lots of outfits and possibly a lookbook video. The most pigmented shadow you need to try

Hello people! So over the years I've slowly become an eye shadow snob....there I said it, I can stand eye shadows that aren't pigmented especially ones that are expensive. This year I have fallen in love with bright bold eye colours but I could never find a shadow with the right colour pay off. Also I have spent a lot of money on palettes that came up short in terms of pigment, so I decied to do my research and see what palette was getting the best reviews on youtube. I kept hearing this brand called Juvias's place that offers unique colours with amazing pigment, so I found this Zulu palette on Ebay available HERE . I was initially drawn to the palette because of the bright yellow and orange which isn't available in many palettes on the market. When I first swatched these I couldn't believe the colour pay off this was the intensity I've been looking for, for years!. I love these colours they're so unique and very easy to blend, I would say if you're into warm muted colours this palette isn't for you, but if you love colours and experimenting with shadows you need this palette.

Overall this has been my favourite palette of summer , I would highly recommend this for anyone who loves colour. Juvia's place is now available HERE on Beauty bay, Have any of you tried Juvia's place?

So first things first I got a new camera! wohoo! I've been in desperate need of a new camera for years and finally I decided on the Canon 750d which I've been loving , I think I might do a camera post in the future talking about all the features. So I bought this jacket when Missguided had a site-wide half price sale ( praise Jesus!) it was in the sale for £30 from £50 but I got it for £17. I've been eyeing up and embroidered jacket for the longest time I think the patterns add such a nice touch to the piece. Its officially Autumn now and I'm so excited for layers and fall inspired room décor , I'm planning to jazz up my room a 'lil bit for the winter months.

FENTY BEAUTY REVIEW

Guys!!! it's here, we have been saved praise Jesus!. Rihanna's new beauty line has launched and the internet (me included) has gone crazy. Now a quick disclaimer I'm not one to jump on a hype waggon especially celebrity make up brands, because they're normally hard to get a hold of and they're always sold out. But then Rihanna comes along and all the rules are thrown out the window, first her campaign has the most diverse models I've ever seen ever second she launched with 40 foundation shade something that's unheard of in the beauty industry. The fact that she included such pale and dark shades is the main reason I bought these products, I don't even wear foundation but I felt it was important to support her brand. I decided to go for the gloss bomb luminizer in fenty glow and the killawatt freestyle highlighter in Trophy wife, both did not disappoint!

Now this product was one of the most highly anticipated of the entire line, and as soon as I swatched it I realised why. Pigment, Pigment, Pigment! I have never seen colour pay off like this in a highlighter, when I bought this I had the sudden urge to book a holiday to Dubai and just be golden in the sun. What is great is how little product you need, this highlighter will last a VERY long time also the shimmer is beautiful on the whole eyelid not just the inner corner. This product truly lives up to the hype, if you're worried it won't match your skin tone I would suggest this as an eye shadow also they're more highlighters available Here .

Gloss Bomb Luminizer: Fenty Glow

Where do I start? colour: check, Applicator: check, Smell: check , everything about this gloss is perfect, I mean I've been living in liquid lipstick land for the last 2 years but thing are a changing!. The concept is meant to be a universal shade for every skin tone and after watching my 200th review on youtube it seems to be true. Its just so effortless I mean for me I don't need lipliner with this gloss, I'm so used to using multiple products for 1 lip look but with this its just apply and go.

Hello!

Hope you are all well, So I'm back with an outfit post which consists of (mostly) items I found in the summer sales. This summer I've been blessed by having an performing job which allows me to travel the U.K so I've been able to check out all the sales in different cities. Whilst in Leeds I was lucky enough to bag these jeans for £30 from £59 ( yippee!) I've been dying for some high quality embroidered jeans but all the ones I found were quite expensive, so when I found these beauties I was over the moon. And the top was only £6 which was perfect because I've recently become obsessed with off the shoulder tops.

For me I usually don't have any luck with Topshop sales normally the size isn't right but this year Topshop has been good to me , really good to me I mean I could have done some serious damage but stayed strong because I knew impulse cheap buy doesn't always work. I've got to say the sales this year for me have been amazing there's so much sizes available and the pieces were very on trend and weather appropriate. Have you had much success with sales this year?

I can't watch a YouTube video without this product being mentioned, it's everywhere ! so I thought I should see what all the hype was about. I was really happy that I could get this from urban outfitters and I was over the moon when I saw it was only £7. It's so refreshing to see a hyped up product for under a tenner, especially when it actually works!. You can use this in multiply ways : setting spray, toner, cooling spray and to dampen your make up sponge/brush. The first thing that I found a surprise was that it adds moisture to the skin without being too oily or shiny. I've been using this daily and I must say it's a game changer, recently the weather has been quite hot and humid and this is the perfect pick me up for my skin. I love that its not too strong, it feels very gentle on my skin and so far my skin looks more hydrated and healthy. I would highly recommend this product and for the price you can't go wrong.

Hello people! hope you are all okay, I've had this bomber in my wardrobe for ages and I always forget that I have it because it's out of sight. I'm happy that I wore it today because I love this baby pink colour for spring/summer, the only down side is that it is a bit thick so I don't think I will be able to wear it in summer. Recently I've felt like I've been in a fashion funk, all my clothes have been worn over and over and my outfits don't excite me like they used to. I'm in desperate need of a fashion over haul , I'm planning to take more risks and experiment with colour. Have you ever felt like completely switching up your style? I feel like with work and a busy schedule I've neglected my personal style which didn't seem like a big deal until I was like ' Hold up I need to slay'. I've realised that looking for multiply outfits online is very time consuming especially when you don't know the websites sizing. So I've decided to tackle it by one outfit at a time and any bottoms I want to buy have to be bought in store because apparently my shape is alien according to most brands.

April Favourites | 2017

We are now in the month May and I have to say there has be a lot of things I've been loving this month. I watched some new series ( binged actually ) and did some life organising that's been long over due. So here are my April favourites:

Nyx Liquid Illuminator I've used this muti-use highlighter almost everyday, I absolutely love it! its very light weight and melts perfectly into my concealer and primer. It's available in 4 different colours which perfect for a wide range of skin tones.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz There's been a lot of hype surrounding this product and now I know why , doing my brows has been so quick and easy I swear I save 10 minutes every morning. If you're the kind of person that wants defined brows but without any of the effort this is definitely the product for you.

Melvita Rose Spray Now this little beauty has been a game changer and its just because I use this to dampen my make-up sponge, but because my bathroom is downstairs it's saves so much hassle. This is a rose facial spray that is perfect for refreshing you through out the day especially if you have dry patches or skin this is perfect.

Stila Matte'ifecent lipstick This has to get an honorary mention just because of the shade, it's the perfect nude for my skin tone and is great for everyday wear. The only bad thing about this lipstick is that its quite drying, I would always suggest a lip balm before applying.

I had to include this in my favourites because I finished the first series in one day and currently dying for the second series. This show is about a normal family who live in a really nice neighbourhood that realise something is terribly wrong with their mum. I will admit I have a very immature sense of humour and love obvious comedy but this had my laughing out loud every episode. If you need something light and not dark and thrilling give this a watch, I realised I was watching a lot of serious programmes and needed this in my life.

Pixi glow tonic

Hello people! today I'm reviewing the Pixi glow tonic because I've seen it everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Is it worth the hype? Does it deserve all the acclaim? Yes. Thank you. End of post, goodbye. Just kidding this isn't the end of the post, but yes this product is 100% worth the hype. In the past through lack of money I was never able to jump on the latest hype bandwagon whether it was the Naked palettes or the beauty blender, I would have to save for months or even years before I could afford anything in the limelight. But I promised myself when I started my new job I would save money so I could try products that were getting a lot of press then give my honest opinion on this blog. Now I'm so sorry to that person but this product is best used with the Pixi Nourishing Cleansing Balm , luckily I was given a sample at work and these two together are a god send.

So you place a few drops on a cotton pad and sweep it really gently over your face after cleansing then follow up with a moisturiser of your choice. Remember this isn't like other toners out there, because of the 5% glycolic acid when you begin to use this I would say start with every other day and put your skin's sensitivity into account. I would say it takes a week for you to see the complete results, in terms of spots or blemishes this eliminates them like a beast! If you struggle with problematic skin say hello to your saviour. I highly recommend this product also if you just want to try it out you can buy a smaller size for £10 Here rather than £18 for a full size.

Hello! I'm currently in bed listening to the neighbourhood with a blocked nose, banging headache and a sore throat #GlamLife. I have so much on my to do list then bam I get hit with a cold but I still managed pushed through 8 hours at work then when I got home I did more work because I couldn't go to boxing..But enough of me going on about sickness, last week's weather was incredible!! I couldn't believe it now I am BUZZING for summer. I found this jacket in primark recently when I was looking for something to just throw on outfits to give them a summery feel. The best thing about this one is that it's incredibly light so when the weather is slightly warmer its perfect to have to take you through the evening.

Hello! well the weather has been incredible lately, I really want to wear floral dresses and bright colours but honestly I don't have any yet. I've been really inspired lately by the sportswear trend, I love trainers and bomber jackets and I've been seeing lot of bloggers wearing oversized hoodies which I love. I've promised myself that I will update my wardrobe ready for spring/summer but I've been doing a lot of things to my house which is pushing my shopping spree back!.

Over the next couple of months I have A LOT planned: I'm currently sorting out the internet in my house, I'm working on a showreel, I'm saving for a new camera and I'm planning to go to Wimbledon. So summer is going to be a lot of work and fun, I can't wait!.

Hello! I hope you are all okay, I can't believe I'm going to say this but spring is actually here! I can't believe it there was times in February where I thought spring would never come. I now realise that I'm not fully ready for spring, I still have a lot of jumpers and thick coats in my wardrobe and when warm weather comes out of nowhere I don't know what I should do. Luckily today was cold enough for a coat, I bought this skirt because I knew the colour would match my coat and I'm so happy it does.

Quick update I recently got really sick ( hence my absence ) I was suffering from multiply migraines which I think was caused by taking a sudden break after working non-stop. The doctor said that I have to stick to a strict sleeping routine to prevent them from happening again. I noticed I got sick when I wasn't eating right and sleeping in , since then I got back on track and feel 1000% better.

Hello! I've been watching beauty videos on YouTube for years and never was able to jump on a eye shadow palette bandwagon, ( through lack of money #studentlife) but recently with all the buzz going on around Huda Beauty I thought now is the time to try some luxury make up. Now I will start by saying that I don't normally spend so much on one makeup product, but I've been working non-stop since December and thought this would be my treat for the month. Now I first heard about this palette on YouTube when it was released last year and it's been sold out everywhere since, until I got an email last week saying it was finally back in stock. I bought it from cult beauty which is the only U.K website that sells it, available Here . There are mixed reviews mainly because people had difficulty applying the textured shadows in the top row, but Huda explains in a video you have to use your fingers to apply them, which can save a lot of hassle.

I love the colour range in this palette and the multiple textures, also I think its great that you get 18 shadows in one palette. I only have one negative, Rose gold in the top row doesn't blend as easy as the other textured eye shadows, compared to Dubai which blends like silk it feels like rose gold has a different formula than the rest. The shadows with a glitter 'look' don't have any fall out which is brilliant and the shade Angelic is MOST beautiful colour! oh my goodness its the perfect gold/pink iridescence.

Now there is a lot and I mean A LOT of positive reviews for the Anastasia modern renaissance palette in terms of the pigmentation of the shadows, I can't compare the two, but these shadows have great pigmentation. I have tried these on my eyes but I haven't worn them for a whole day so I can't say how well they wear. Overall I think this palette is great, this is one of my first high-end palettes so I am not able to compare it with others yet but I do love the wide range of colours you are given.

Hello people! I woke up and saw that it was grey outside and I thought to myself grey outfit! I love this coat so much so much so that also got it in camel. I'm just obsessed with the style of it, it can be glammed up or thrown on for a casual outfit. Am I crazy that I still would want it just 2 inches longer? I'm 5ft 9 and love the look of ankle length duster jackets but its hard to find ones that are the perfect length. When buying this coat I did read all the reviews on the misguided website and bought a size 12 rather than a 14 because everyone said to size down and I'm so happy I did.
