My Review: I enjoyed this book! If you love "historical" romances this is right up your alley. Mega points for being written by the delightful Lisa Kleypas!

My Review: Nathan is quite the stubborn man and I am not sure if that makes him hot or just a bone head? BOTH!

Wild Card is a very intense story filled with many raw emotions. I found myself wondering the big stupid question of "what if". Bella is a much more determine person than I think I could ever be. The love she ~~felt~~ feels for Nathan is pure and unrelenting. It's true and honest!

Both Nathan and Bella needed to knock of the grudges but I get that it makes for a good read, it reality you would want to knock their heads together. Okay I might have felt this way while reading the story at times!

The sex scenes were steamy and well written and well.... amazing!

HA HA HA!

I look forward to reading the rest of this series. Lora Leigh seems to have a way with writing characters that you love and hate and I can't wait to fall in love with the next hard headed character she writes about.

My Review: The Darkest Hour is not the "norm" in what I have grown to expect from Maya Banks. It was not erotic or steamy but it was heartfelt. I liked it! The Darkest Hour is a solid read!

Maya Banks wrote the main characters with such assurance that you could close your eyes and not only see these characters but you could feel their emotions. What a heart wreching story Maya Banks takes you on with Ethan and Rachel.

Maya Banks also used so much detail in her description of all the secondary characters, perfect bait to start off this awesome series. I am just upset that I am just now getting to it.

Kudos to Maya Banks who has yet to fail me in her story telling!

Like hopeful penitents or sojourners making the pilgrimage to a holy land filled with story and sorrow, they arrived with gifts.

My Review: What a great book, a book that I was glued to from the first word to the very last. The emotions Nicole Baart was able to write were real, raw and beautiful! You sat there mourning with Danica over the loss of her husband.

Far From Here was my first novel read by Nicole Baart but it will not be the last, she is amazing. I highly recommend Far From Here to anyone!!

My Review: This is my first book by Jaci Burton ( please don't throw stuff at me) but it won't be my last. Yummy yummy! I mean the cover alone should get you to read this book, you did see it, right? RIGHT??!!!

With Mick and Tara you get an intense, erotic and an emotional ( very raw and real) relationship. J. Burton was able to make Mick so down to earth even with his celebrity status, it was refreshing. I loved how J. Burton was able to write about everyday challenges one would find in a relationship, including Nathan, Tara's teenage son. I was thankful that there was just enough Nathan in the story without taking away from the steam factor of the novel.

I can not wait to read the next book in the series, Changing the Game.

So nice to be able to finally check this book off my TBR list and after reading it I am ashamed it sat there for so long.

Q: Many readers/bloggers are also big music fans. Tell us about a few of your favorite bands/singers that we should listen to in 2012.

My answer: I listen to mostly Christian music and country music. Adore Chris Tomlin, Mercy Me, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley.

With that being said I will listen to just about anything as long as I can understand the lyrics and the F-bomb isn't being dropped every 5 words.

I can pretty much think of a fitting song in any situation life throws at me, and trust me when I say I do just this... my oldest hates it!

My Review: It a nutshell... loved it!

I do think this book was a tad bit slower than what I remember the first two books being... but I could be wrong. So many books read I loose track at times.

I think Sawyer might be my favorite dude so far from the Lucky Harbor series.... tall, dark, handsome and a tad bit mysterious... yes please! I also think Chloe's medical condition is a bitch to her love life ( bet that sentence alone gets you to pick this book up), ha ha ha!

I'm so excited to read the next installment in this series, once again Jill Shalvis delivers. She is a perfect go to author, she won't fail you!

I try not to read more than 2 at a time because it seems one always catches my attention more than the other so one book always ends up taking me longer to read than if I just stuck with one book at a time.

I am amazed that some can read so many at once, but I just can't wrap my brain around it, ha ha ha!

My Review: Talk about a quick read... had it done in a few hours ( of course they were not back to back hours because I have kids who want me to feed them 3+ times a day, ha).

I loved Madison... she is fiece, spunky and girl knows ~~what~~ who she wants... Gabe! Get em girl!

I loved how Gabe battled with himself of his self control but seemed to loose it throughout the book when it came to Madison.

The pull between them and the history they share made this an enjoyable read, I was pleasantly surprised. Not sure what I thought I was going to get when I started reading this book but I got way more than I thought.

Added bonus I got this off amazon when it was free, it's now $4.24 and if you asked me it is worth the price

This week I decided I would look at the covers of the books I have waiting for me on my Kindle and came across this one....

My Review: A great start to 2012! I picked the right book forsure!

Maya Banks wrapped up the McCabe trilogy perfectly! She delivered from the first book all the way to the last and never once lost any steam!

I loved how Rionna and Caelen both came into their relationships with battles they fought within themselves, it made them seem more real to me.

I wish we could hear Gannon's story, he played such a big role in all 3 books... maybe Maya will surprise us???

The McCabe brothers are a mighty, loyal and sexy force to reckon with. This trilogy is a must for any who loves a good romance series!

The one thing that bugs me about this series, and this has nothing to do with Maya Banks is the covers! While they are all nice to look at, none of them got the McCabe brother's right. It is times like this I wish authors had a bit more say in the cover art.

My Review: This is my first time reading anything Candace Camp wrote and I agreed to reviewing this book with having no prior knowledge on any of her past work.

I thought I got myself in over my head the first 3-4 chapters but I am so glad I stuck through because it was an amazing read! In fact the slow moving first few chapters is the only bad thing I can think of and that makes this a pretty awesome book by that standard alone.

This book had a little of everything in it... romance, mystery.. it was a well written book.

I am so thrilled that this is a first in a series, nothing makes a book blogger happier than coming across the first book in what proves to be the stuff great series are made of.
