Blaring reminders

Of thunderous failures
So now I sit...
Bleeding ink and crying tears
That no one will ever see
Alone
As I've always felt
Because no one has time for this
But me...
And even I ignore my pain

When unescapable

No matter if I'm incapable
So forward I push...

That one day

Probably to be contained? Or perhaps entertained?

So, by flickering light you try to fill your mind with wise words to inspire. Because that's what we are suppose to do. But only one line resonates with your heart this time...

"And bring no book, for this day
We'll give to idleness"

When your whole life consists of building walls

to defend yourself...

That hammer can be mighty heavy

.... And only those who have had to build yourself up to break the walls down can testify exactly how heavy that hammer can be. Only they can speak of the exhaustion one feels after wielding such courage and fear... raising it above their head, with a swing and a prayer, to just let it all go. Terror and excitement insu as the wall comes down to new beginnings.
