I love how this one turned out. She looks so elegant in her summer Sunday best. I was really glad I had the “grace” stamp to go with her. If I was naming her, I would definitely name her Grace.

I was so excited to try out this tutorial by Sophia Landry that I just had to share what I came up with!

I made three separate girls following the same basic tutorial. Here’s the first one:

She’s my least favorite of the three. So, hopefully you’ll come back to see the others that I think turned out better.

Pinecones for Christmas?

This ornament uses the retired DSP from the last Holiday mini catalog.

There are lots of tutorials out there for these ornaments. Here’s one:

I think it would awesome to try one of these and add some of the Pretties kit to the bottom of the ornament. Has anyone tried this yet? Please leave me a comment if you have a link - I’d love to see them!

Doing some housecleaning

I haven’t been able to keep up with my regular blogging schedule for a while now. Mostly due to the combination of summer = playing outside and changes in the meds I take for bipolar II. Stalking Mr Brown today

Hey girls. Just wanted you all to know that I have my pre-order scheduled to arrive today. It should be any time now so hopefully soon I’ll have some samples of NEW TOYS to show you!

Mini-church Birdhouse

I found a pattern to make a little birdhouse and I have been having a great time with it. I have some big ideas floating around in my head, but one of them was to alter the pattern a bit to create this:

To show the size, I put my Crystal Effects bottle up there.

This was so much fun, especially making the tiny stained glass windows. (Heat Embossing on vellum and colored with markers.)

Anyway…the summer has been good to us so far. We’re having fun playing outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. We are almost ready to put out the backyard swimming pool too.
