This is the card I used for my Thank You cards from my 100 day celebration! This was a great celebration of the Lord Jesus – His healing power and His love.

This must be spring! We have had temperatures in the 40’s this week and it is to stay there all week. At this rate will not have any snow left! This the the March flip Calendar page.

You can’t see it well but there is crystal effects on the small shamrocks on the left of the page. Yes, we had great fun with the white gel pen. You can make one of these fun calendar in the fall for 2011, check my events page for the time and place.

Mom’s Stamp and Children?????

Two moms came over and made boxes (see this post for more information about the boxes) and the children do what????? Well, one slept (after a while) and the other watched over her. No, we don’t usually handle babysitting – this was a special time for my neighbor Audrey. The boxes you see are the two monkeys for February.

Finally the Girls page!

I know days ago – actually last month – I said I would share the girls’ tween’ page we would be doing. Here it is!

It is the same format as the boys only "girly"! We used the Designer Series Pack Paper for the top layer. Did you know it is just shy of 12 x 12 so we could layer it on Rose Red 12×12 cardstock and have a great border with no cutting. The chalk Board piece is from our Definitely Decorative great new catalog. The Post it notes are the only thing not Stampin’UP! The butterflies are from the new Beautiful Wings Emboslit and the large white butterfly was embossed from the stamp set Simple Friendship. I hope the girls will like their pages as much as the boys. There will be a piece of chalk attached to the front to write on the "chalkboard" with.

The most imprtant part of stamping is friends! For us the social interaction is what we love best. Okay – when the UPS guy comes we love getting new toys too – but nothing is better than time spent playing with friends. (Yes, this is what our table looks like before and after class – that you don’t usually see – don’t tell Wendy I showed you!)

This is my friend Renee who needed (actually TIM her DH requested) a birthday card for a special friend who had just become a US citizen this past year so this was her first AMERICAN Birthday. So after hours and hours we came up with this card! I am just teasing! It did not take long at all. We actually looked at the Stampin’UP! big cattie and there on page 67 was the perfect card to case.

Of course we had to emboss the stars using craft ink and use the wonderful, soft, silky new Satin Ribbon from page 27 in the Occasions Mini for the red bar in the middle. All in all it was really a fast card to put together. Renee will tell you the hardest part was "random stamping of the stars" with Cheryl just saying: "stamp, don’t think!, stamp!" You would never guess that of Cheryl!!!

Special Celeabration – Please come!

This is a special invitation to YOU to come celebrate with us. If you have not heard from anyone or seen any of the newsletters – Cheryl’s successful completion of her battle against Leukemia will officially be over February 24. Below are the details – Please come celebrate with us!

"On a personal note – Many of you know that Cheryl has been battling Leukemia for many years. In the spring of 2009 she was blessed with a bone marrow transplant. February 24, 2010 is the official release from treatment date for her – the transplant has been successful! We are so thankful and excited about this. We want to invite all of you to come and celebrate with us. Please mark your calendars for February 24th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. We will be having the party in Lodi – at the Lake Wisconsin Evangelical Free Church so that there will be enough room and parking. This is a time to praise God for his blessing and to thank you for your prayers, love, and support. Come any time between 5 and 7 – there will be snacks and a chance for us to thank you and have you celebrate with us. Please come and tell anyone you know who has been praying for Cheryl that they are invited as well. For directions to the church check here. Be sure to mark you calendars as this day would not be complete without YOU!"

Last of the Box pictures!

This is the last of the Spring Boxes we made this weekend. We still have a couple of complete sets you can purchase if you missed the class. Contact me here for more information.

This is May’s Flower pot. Noni loved this one best! It was a little harder to make as you had to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! and we know how much everyone loves to to that – NOT!

This is June and July! Now, if you were in Wisconsin with the weather being in the single digits and that was the HIGH for the day would you not have loved making this beach box! Darlene said she was going to leave it out to remind herself that winter does end!

Remeber it is still Sale-A-Bration which means FREE stamps for you! Ask me how!
