"It is unclear how millions of well-meaning but misinformed people are going to help deal with the more complicated reality."

- Michael Wilkerson

I agree completely with this statement. I understand that yes, This Kony issue that the invisible children are making people aware of is a completely legitimate cause and people mean well by supporting it but, why now; and more importantly why are these using propaganda and products in efforts to promote and raise awareness of the cause? Is there possible hidden agenda? I am convinced that there is. Possibly the invisible children started out with good intentions but with the number of pathos scams that have been going on why not try it? What do I mean by that? Well simply this. Does anyone remember that book about the world's ending in 2011; the one that said that the world's projected end date was may 21,2011. This dude sold millions and the world didn't even end. Many Christians were left devastated. Many really believe that the world would end so they quit their job, sold their homes and everything. This audience of people are pretty easy to fool, not because they are foolish but, they rely heavily on their emotions in certain situations. They do what's good in spirit and most of them constantly prepare their lives for the day of judgement. So of course this group would not entirely question the word of a man when they clearly read a book written by man. I used to be religious but then I discovered science and atheists which made me see the word logically and factually rather than faithfully and spiritually. Those poor poor people. What this is is an appeal to people's emotions. This guy appealed to their emotions and milked them for everything they had. This kony 2012 thing, in my opinion, is another form of a huge empathetic campaign. They had this sad video with this Joseph Kony guy as the "bad guy" who needs to be stopped and then they tell you to support by not only spreading the word but, buying stuff. If your goal is really just to "raise awareness about this issue in hopes of getting support of the us people and us government to deploy troops in Uganda in hopes capturing Kony who isn't even in Uganda any longer by the way", WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU SELLING MERCHANDISE. Also according to the sites financial statistics out of the 8million they made in 2011 only about 30% actually goes to helping the kids out where does the rest go? Occupy wall street wanted to raise awareness and stop the financial inequality, you didn't see them selling merchandise. They just got their blankets and camped out and people joined because it was something they learned about and decided they wanted support. No propaganda was needed. The Kony 2012 campaign gets people to support because they know people would feel as if its the morally right thing to do without question but, I question everything before I support it unlike the other 80% of america. They dont think, they dont question they just do, I don't just do I question, I analyze and I think.

So no, I will not support this campaign and I personally think its partially a scam. There's an underlying hidden agenda the gullible folk aren't quite aware of. I dislike humans some times who passively accepting anything someone shoves in their brains. We are mammals who can walk talk and think, we have BRAINS for goodness sake how about we start using them and start THINKING for ourselves. We shouldn't accept things for face value. Just because someone tells you something doesn't necessarily make it true. Research, research, research; stop living under a rock and absorbing the dirty soil.

Oh how I miss this site soo much. I've neglected it for way too long. I've really had too much time on my hands lately however. I discovered these little fuse beads in my 99 cent store one day in a cheaper brand and looked them up online. What I found amazed me. I saw all of the amazing things people could make with them and now i'm hooked. So far I've made so many that I had to order more beads which i'm waiting for.

Another new hobby I took up was crocheting flowers. I've always known how to crochet but, not as well as I do now. The flowers are so pretty. I will be making more as soon as I get better yarn.

When I get the supplies I will be making broaches, keychains and chains from the things I make and selling it on etsy. If interested you can always leave me a comment and i'll be sure to reply :).
