When I opened my box of the new Spring/Summer products I did a OMG when I saw this paper. It is full of tan and blue flowers and is beautiful. I just love it. The stamp set "Card Word Puzzle" is perfect with it. There are 63 different stamps included in that set. I have a feeling that it is going to be one of my favorites. The lettering is small and neat so that you could even use it to stamp of ribbon!

My first Mojo Monday Card

Today I decided to try using the Mojo Monday sketch to make a card. It seems that I never have a male birthday card on hand so that is the direction that I took with this sketch.

I love our new Cricut "Art Philosophy" cartridge!!! The card was so simple to make.

I just had to create a page for my new Grandson. I love the new "Art Philosophy" Cricut Cartridge. I was able to make the #6 big and let the matching letters (month) were made 1/2" tall.
Under the 6 month title is a pocket with at tag in it. This is also created from the same cartridge. I wrote a personal note to my Grandson for him to read someday.

Bling Club's Overview
• All club's will meet on the second Saturday of each month.
• All Club kits need to paid for two weeks before the workshop. My up-line
Shannon is making the scrapbooking and card kits.
She needs time to put them together and mail them to me.
• We will be meeting at 206 Crane St. in Park Hills from 9am - noon. There is
a sign in the front that says "Friends in Action Clubhouse".
• All kits must be paid for two weeks in advance.
• We will have a lot of room to spread out, good lighting and "Snack Shack"

Bling Scrapbook Club: Make two pages and two cards for $13.00 a month. Kit includes pre-cut pieces, embellishments and colored instructions.

Hi Ladies,
Can you believe that Labor Day is just a few days away? Kids are back in school or will be shortly. All of that tells me that summer and the hot weather are soon to be over. Thanksgiving and Christmas are not far behind.

The new Autumn/Winter Catalogs are HERE!!
They have arrived and are!!! The paper on the front of the catalog is Magnifique. Believe it or not this is the bottom of my list for like.
You should see Oliver!!! It is rich with fall colors and design. It has got to be my favorite. Hooligans is the Halloween paper. Full of orange black and purple. What is also fun is that Hooligans are also a felt monsters embellishments and a stamp set to top it off. I'm going to keep the Hooligans monsters on hand. They are going to be perfect for a child's Birthday card.
Mistletoe is another favorite. But then you can never have enough Christmas paper. I really like it because it is more of a traditional paper. Just soft and not over stated.

Magic Club is Here!!!
The Magic Club is going to be featuring layouts for the New Magic Book. The book is all out pages that interact with the person viewing the page. You might find the journaling behind a picture or pull a tab only to find a cascade of pictures. Each month I will feature a new paper from the Fall catalog. Our first month will be Olivia. It is definitely my favorite. It is all rich deep fall colors.

Gift Club
Are you ready to try something different? Each month I will offer you a project that will work as a gift. It is going to be done with extra supplies that you have on hand and one or two things that you may need to purchase. There will be no charge for this club unless I have to by materials for you and then you will be charged the cost of the materials. We will meet the second Thursday of each month. Our first night will be September 9th. You will need to order the recipe box by September 2th or let me know so that I can order it for you.

For the first project we are going to decorate a recipe/photo box. Item number Z1322 for $6.95. I will give you a temple to use for cutting out the paper and from there you take it where every you want. You will need about 1 1/2 sheets of 12" paper. This is a great project to use up scraps and embellishments. I will be making one for a co-worker that does not take pictures. It will be a Christmas gift but I want him to use it all year long. When it is done I will fill it with his favorite chocolate. You can see how a box is decorated in the photo below.

Attendance is limited so each guest will have plenty of space to work. Please be sure to bring your own lunch and beverages. There are refrigerates and microwave available. RSVP is REQUIRED by the Thursday evening before the Crop at 9 PM, so I can make sure and have enough space for everyone to work comfortably. Lunch will be provided. Since space is limited, I recommend you RSVP as soon as you decide to join us!

Can you believe it was almost two months age that the Farmington Home Expo was postponed a week because of snow and last week it was in the 60's? Finally we are getting some wonderful weather. My flowers are starting to pop up. It's getting time to start thinking about working in the yard. Now, is a great time to think about the Card/Scrapbook kits that I offer. Just purchase a kit and everything is ready to go. All you have to do is follow the instructions to put them together.

Classes and Crop ScheduleI'm not sure what is going on with my calendar on my website. I went to check it the other day and all my events were gone. So this time I am going to include them in my newsletter to make sure that you have them. Classes and crop will be held at my home. I will make sure that you have plenty of space. If there are more then a few sign-up then I will move the location to give you more room. You can work on the Kits (Card or Scrapbook) or just crop!
