I am looking for a non profit in America that does the same thing. I am going to put on an event in Austin, and then take in nationally. It is called “Women’s Wealth Esteem” and it is about empowering women with Wealth consciousness, Self esteem with wealth, business, opportunity and self worth. Giving them the wealth essentials that lead to an abundant life doing what they love. Then they can share what they learn with their families, children and we can create a Wealthy World of Wealth Conscious , happy  self expressed, self fulfilled beings!

DiscoverHope Fund (DHF) creates an entrepreneurial framework for the poor to actively participate in their own economic advancement, personal empowerment, and life transformation.  DHF is one of many organizations who advocate that access to credit should be recognized as a fundamental human right. While credit is important, what we do also includes providing opportunities for women to discover and celebrate their inner beauty and personal power.

Of the world’s 6.1 billion inhabitants, one of every five (more than one billion people) live on less than one U.S. Dollar a day.  Nearly half of the human race, more than 3 billion people, live on less than 2 U.S. Dollars a day and are faced with the life-threatening reality of poverty every day (Source: UNDP, page 24)

These numbers represent real people, real families, and real stories of those who are trapped in poverty and cannot adequately feed, clothe, or shelter themselves. DHF is rooted with a passion and vision to create a world that really works for everyone-if you resonate with this commitment, read on and can support the change we wish to create in this world.

GOAL ONE: Microloans for Macrodreams (extended)

Giving microcredit opportunities - small loans are given to women in poverty to support their micro-enterprise businesses.  Most of the beneficiaries do not have any form of collateral and do not have access to traditional credit because of their poverty status.  DHF works with groups of beneficiaries to give small, reasonable loans at low-interest rates that are paid within a longer time-frame.  Returned loan payments cycle back into the organization and provide subsequent contributions in the form of subsequent loans and new loans for more women.

• Loans are obtained by a borrower through joining a group of borrowers often called a “village bank” comprised of 8-25 women; these women hold one another responsible for the payback of their loans

• Loans are offered for creating self-employment for income-generating activities: common areas of business include food production/livestock; textiles and clothing; artisan crafts; and multipurpose “street stores”

• An average first-time loan is $100 and loans are paid back every month in group meetings, over a 4-6 month time period

• DHF aspires to work with those living on less than $5 a day (World Bank uses reference lines set at those living on less than $1 a day-extreme poverty, and $2 per day-poverty (www.worldbank.org).
• One of the most inspirational parts of this model of work is that give the women the tools to  realize their potential with total dignity, since it is their money, their responsibility, their skills and their businesses—they take total ownership
• DHF helps encourage women through our savings program to save some of their income each month so that they build collateral for their families and businesses and can eventually “graduate” from microcredit

DHF Goal Two: Cultivate Passions and Talents (extended):

• Our second program objective encourages support and well-being for each woman through providing training to support entrepreneurial, financial, and personal goals.
• You may have heard the great saying, “Teach a person to fish instead of giving them fish.”  With DHF, the microcredit we give is the “fishing pole” so these women can begin to fish for themselves and change their lives.  This second objective is to follow up with education and support and teach them “how to use their fishing poles.”

Maggie spent nearly two years living in mountains of Cajamarca Peru developing and implementing the microcredit pilot project that evolved into DHF, a nonprofit that Maggie registered in 2006 with the state of TX and with the IRS to create a 501c3 public charity. In 2006, she was chosen as a research fellow for FINCA and FriendshipBridge to conduct grassroots research on poverty and the power of microcredit with indigenous communities in Panjachel, Guatemala. Maggie directs the day-to-day management and growth of DHF from headquarters in Austin TX and travels back to Peru annually to work with DHF’s field-based Peru Program Manager. Prior to her international work, Maggie enjoyed six years in nonprofit management in San Diego as a Program Director, focusing on program design and evaluation for youth development programs for peace after completing her MA in Communication.  Maggie received her Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations in 2009. Promoting possibilities for abundance

Rosa Remila Infant Antiaga, 63 yrs.

Rosa is involved in a village bank with her daughter.  She sells natural medicines in Chiclayo, a coastal Peruvian city.  She travels to Chiclayo because there is a greater demand for natural medicines there.   She wasn’t working before receiving her first loan, but since she became a widow she needs to work to support herself.  She has 5 children that live close by and help her when they can.  She is pictured with her grandson, Anderson, who is 4 yrs old.

Aida Maria Llaque Tirado, 30 yrs.

Aida is the treasurer of the village bank, “Senor de los Milagros.”  She has 3 children (10, 9, and 3 yrs. old)  Aida makes handicrafts and sells them from her home.  She has been making handicrafts ever since she was little.  She has learned from others, but also enjoys discovering how to make new handicrafts on her own.  Her first loan of nearly $100 was used to invest in more material to make handicrafts for more people.  Aida dreams of being able to export her handicrafts to the U.S.  She enjoys being part of the village bank because the group is very united and helps one another out if there is a health problem or family problem.

Do you feel like you are experiencing loss? Loss of money, loss of clients, loss of opportunity, loss in the stock market? Where is your focus? Are you staying focused on what is coming to you, that wish you desire? Or are you focusing on lock and creating worry, fear and doubt within you? You have a choice… you can choose how you feel and what you think, and best of all, you get to choose what you think anything means! It is your choice. When you use your choice towards your greater good, you prosper!

So, would you rather feel scared, anxious and down or happy anticipating and expectant? If something did not work out the way you want, if you feel like you do not have enough, or what you do not have what you really want, then now is the time to start giving your energy to what you do want, not what you do not have. If something is moving out of your life; a person, a relationship, a job, a house… it is because you no longer align with it. It is not a match to who you are anymore, so let go. Trust there is a purpose and that what you are moving towards is better than you can imagine! Believe the Universe is working for you and is leading you to your greater good. Let go and be grateful for what you had, and look with joy and anticipation towards what is coming. Begin to Create your reality in cooperation with the Universe.

Today go through the day with these ideas firmly in mind:

• How do I feel?
• Do my feelings uplift and inspire me?
• What am I thinking about?
• Does it uplift and inspire me?
• Who am I spending time with?
• Do they uplift and inspire me?

Then switch. Choose what you PREFER to feel, think and BE. Replace the unsupportive energies with ones that uplift and inspire you! YES, IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!  Suspend your disbelief and choose to believe this will:

• Attract more joy, love and inner peace
• Attract more ideas, creativity and inspiration
• Attract more interesting, loving, inspiring people

Because it does! Yep, so choose now and then expect the joy, fun, opportunities, inspiration, wealth and love! Remember the Free Manifesting Wealth Call July 16th!

I personally have had a long, painful journey in relation to my parents and encounter people in my classes and coaching all the time that have issues as well. I have received several requests to have a class on this, so here you go! Only $20 July 15th 70 minute class and Q & A

In this class we will explore releasing the issues, pain, hurts, and challenges… indeed the programming from your parents. Inner peace, mental clarity and ability to choose your thoughts, feelings and life are soon to be yours!

Everyone grows up being ‘programmed’ by their parents… it is not that most parents intend to do anything wrong. In fact they think they are doing their best! Most parents do not know how to manage their own emotions and mind. We are not taught this! And most parents do not know that they are actually programming their kids! All children are in “Theta” state until they are 7 years old. This makes it easy to learn, absorb and program beliefs and thought patterns into their minds. Unfortunately most parents have fears, negative attitudes, limiting beliefs and these are programmed into you!

So, now you are all grown up and want to create YOUR life the way YOU want, are you running into blocks? I know, so now, you can do something about it! Let’s get clear of the past issues, fears, and messed up attitudes with money that we got from parents. Let’s release the need for our parents to accept us as we are, agree with who we want to to be and apologize for hurtful things they did. Do you feel hurt by past experiences with your parents? Let it go, let them go, and free  yourself to live the life you truly desire to live.

The stunning fact is that we all have unconscious beliefs that we are often not even aware of. All our most powerful beliefs are taken on under age 7, and so you may be operating in criticism, resentment, guilt or some other unsupportive energy vibe and not realize it! Your beliefs can be limiting you even thought they once supported you. Your fear of pleasing your parents, wishing they treated you better, hoping they understand you and seeking their approval is limiting you!

Let me tell you about something powerful I have discovered for myself: I have been operating from the dominant energy of GUILT. Yes, and the reason is, I was raised by people who were operating from massive GUILT themselves. Only thing is, we both express it differently. The really interesting thing is when your parents operate (act) from a certain attitude, you, as the child, tend to operate from an opposing attitude to compensate and get the attention, love you desire. We all want love and attention, especially as a child. So you learn to act in a way that gets you that attention as a kid.

The fourth insight from the book The Celestine Prophecy explains one reason why we act in certain ways… to get energy from others.

• The Fourth Insight… The Struggle For Power:= To gain energy, we tend to manipulate or force others to give us attention and thus energy. When we successfully dominate others in this way, we feel more powerful, but they are left weakened and often fight back. Competition for scarce human energy is the cause of all conflict between people.

So there are several kinds of patterns that people play out. Our parents learned theirs from their parents, and so on. You tend to be the opposite as your parents, although not always. My sister was the same as my parents, and stronger! One act is ‘bully’. This is someone who bullies others their kids, by criticism, and such, and the child will tend to react by being in the victim mode. My parents are what are called “bullies”, they are critical, judgmental and act superior. Even though they do not really feel confident deep inside… people who act like that actually feel they are not good enough, and they have to keep working hard to be good enough. This includes criticizing those around them in order to feel and look better. When you have a bully or a even worse as a parent, you respond by being a ‘poor me’ and trying to get the love you want the only way you can… by being needy, hurt, pathetic, less, than, sick etc. This side of the equation is guilt. The reason kids learn to act this way is they learn it is the only way to get attention they desire form the bully parent.

So see how this plays out: my parents bully me, so to speak, they criticize, demand I change who I am, and continuously want me to be like them. I learn from this that I am not good enough, no matter what I do I cannot make them happy all the time, because they want me to be something I am not. I try for years on end, and it is never good enough. I am trying to be what others want me to be and since it is not natural things feel wrong, things do not line up well and even success does not last. Why? Because if I am not able to please my parents, the people who are most important to me in the world as a child, and the ones who are supposed to love, protect and care for me, no matter what, than what good am I? We all take on different versions of lack of self esteem due to these circumstances. Mine was at a core level I took on the belief that I was essentially bad, that whenever I acted naturally for me, as myself, it was wrong to them, and therefore I was bad (in my mind). This breeds guilt. So my inner landscape, for years on end, was to feel guilty all the time. It became normal. Even when I followed my heart and did things I really wanted to do, I felt guilty. (Now it is important to point out… I never did anything that was actually ‘wrong’ or “bad’. One thing they did not like about me was my spontaneity!)

When you feel guilty, you feel not good enough, you try to get the approval of your parents, you try to be what they want, live up to their expectations and seek their love by pleasing them. This, in the end, never, ever works. You can never please anyone else for long, and as many of you may have experienced, what you do to please your parents is never good enough. Or perhaps you please them one day and the next they are back to telling you that you are not good enough again, or you don’t deserve.  I was told repeatedly ‘you don;t deserve all we do for you”, “you don;t deserve this nice trip/place to live/etc”… that is programming. It went in so deep I spent most of my life, unaware that deep down I felt not good enough and that I did not deserve nice things.

Here is the worst part: by operating from guilt most of my life I attracted pain and punishment to me. That is what guilty energy attracts. Can you relate? Do you feel like you have tried everything to succeed and things happen that make you feel like you have been punished? Guilt!

This is one scenario to show you how the energy, patterns and emotions you feel are related to your parents and what you chose to believe about what they said and did. Perhaps you have more than just what you got as a child. Perhaps since then you have had a run in, a disagreement or been betrayed or hurt in some way by your parents. All of these relate to this same energy pattern you are acting out over and over. Come to the class, let’s find it, clear it and empower ourselves to start living our own lives!

Here is part of an email coaching session with a coaching client who is dealing with setbacks, lack of energy, procrastination after major progress and a perceived business set back. Your ego and other internal systems, that have operated the same way for a long time, are designed to keep you ’safe’ by keeping you the same/stuck.  Your disappointment with the smoke shop simply dulled your energy and the other family events going on appeared to be also pulling you back.

Similar to parts of you, your family and those close to you will have to adapt to your changes and most people do not like change, in you or anything. This is why we must listen to our own inner voice and move on based on what is within us, not on what is outside of us, even those we love. You must realize that as you change and embrace your power, some people will not like it, but it is just energy and you will begin to attract new people who match the new you based on the new vibrations you are sending out.  Often people do not make the changes they really want in their lives because it feels, initially, that all the forces within them and around them are holding them back and the breakthrough seems harder than it is.
Good news! This is part of the transformation, and the reality is this feeling of being stuck is only skin deep. The key is to choose your new vibrations (thoughts, feelings, reality, beliefs, attitudes…) and keep steady to it, no matter what. Tell yourself that there is nothing more important that staying focused on who you are becoming and what you want and do your best to not let the other stuff distract you.
All the feelings you describe below are easier to understand if you look at it like a little kid having a temper tantrum… that is kind of what your ego and current state are doing to keep you stuck. “Why bother”, “it will be too much work”, “it will never work”, these kinds of things are the limiting beliefs talking. Procrastination is also fear of failure or success. I feel you are having more of a fear of success process. This usually goes something like this: “Why am I working so hard, nothing works out for me anyway. I’ll probably do all this and still get nothing for it. And what is I do get successful Then I have to work hard all the time, and people will expect things from me, I am fin the way I am now, no I am not happy, but how do I know I will really  be any happier when I do all this. What is I succedd and people want money from me? What is I make money and lose it? What if the clients I am trying to get don’t like what I do, or get mad, or cancel… I will look bad and be embarrassed. It is easier if I just don;lt put my self out there and get noticed. I mean I have to contact all these people and what if they say no, and don’t like what I have. It;s all just a waste of time, I am fooling myself thinking things can get better…” and so on…

You know you want more, and there is no going back now, you have tasted a happier life. There is a phase where it feels to hard to go forward and not possible to go back, and that is natural. It is possible for you to have more money and time and anything else you want. Think of this as if you are learning a new job, a music instrument or game. You have to study it, practice, look at your results, practice more keep reminding yourself of this ‘new’ way of being and so on.
You are NOT being lazy, that is a self defeating thought that is not you, it is the resistance. All the thoughts are. You just have to do whatever you can, moment by moment, day by day, to stay focused on your end goal, the feelings of happiness and inner peace you will feel when you have extra income and extra time. Each day it becomes easier and more habituated, until one day you will naturally think and feel this way and just go about your day like this.
It can be easier when you have someone who holds your dream as well, and yet , in truth, you are the one who makes it happen. So if you do not have anyone who ‘gets’ this, no worries, I am here and befriend yourself. Talk to yourself and help yourself, step by step to take a little action doing what you know you want to do to get the business going.
To get back on track simply be gentle with yourself, and to take small steps till your energy and emotions shift to more positive ones. The key is not to beat yourself up and feel guilty because you got off track and disappointed. This is a waste. So do what you can to not indulge in the feelings and thoughts like this. When you feel yourself thinking this way and feeling low or your energy dropping, stop and close your eyes. Take a breath and step back from yourself. Watch the thoughts and feelings move by in front of you like a stream, just be there. Allow the emotions to subside. Make sure you do not grab hold of any of them. By this I mean if you ’see’ the thought “am I lazy? What’s wrong with me?” be aware not to ‘grab’ it and run with it and start saying more thing like “Yea, I know and I always will be and it won’t change and why do I bother…”… you see? Separate yourself from the stream of depleting thoughts  and let them keep moving by, do not dive into them and go deeper. You may have to stop yourself a few times and redirect yourself back to watching instead of participating. This is normal, just keep stepping back, over and over till you can sit and watch. Once the feelings are not as intense,  then you can start to ask yourself this:
“This is not the real me, the real me is joy, prosperity, happiness, energy. This is just the old habits talking, and I can change those. Now I choose to feel I can do it, I choose to focus on the great life waiting for me just around the corner. Now I feel more calm, and I am feeling like the storm has passed and that is good, cause now I can look out with a clear view again and focus on the way I know my life can be, really is and will be shortly. I am in control of my thoughts and feelings, and I now choose energy, focus, happoiness….” you get the point, just slowly talk yourself up into a better feeling. It is not possible to accomplish when we feel low and defeated. So don’t try to make major changes when you feel like that, first allow the thoughts and feeling to move through you (do not supress or ignore them too long, as they get stuck, allow them to move through you ). Once the wave is over, you can begin to focus on feeling better,
When things do not go the way we hope, it simply means there is something better coming… hold the framework of “everything is an opportunity : firmly in your mine. Decide that even though the evidence showing up may not yet reflect this, that you KNOW, you BELIEVE, it is in the process of being created and delivered to you.  Use the experience to see new ways of doing things, and ask ‘what can I do in this situation next time that will best create the outcome I desire”.
For now I would think of things that make you feel good and do them, pick your energy up and choose one thing to focus on that will be easy to do and you will feel good when it is done. Once you accomplish it, write it in your proof journal (if you have one look back at your past successes and read them, very inspiring!) and then do a small celebration, go have ice cream or take a nap or whatever you like best. Then choose one more thing… think of it like you fell down a canyon and you simply have to climb back to the top and continue on, it is just energy and energy changes all the time!
Decide to adopt the attitude “Nothing can stop me from uncovering my dreams and living my abundant happy life, and this is just a bump on the road!”  Meditate, visualize your goals and then set a date to work on your … most important idea…. for 10 minutes only, just sit down and do something… then again….
