What to do when a 7 year old mac breaks down

Panic. Seriously, 7 years of stuff and I have backed up… like 10GB out of 40GB. Lucky that 10GB was all my important stuff…
Man I am so seriously pissed off right now, because without a computer, can’t finish websites, (have 2 due soon) can’t do homework, not to mention a vast decrease of msn! Maybe it will do me some good, but I really miss it

It all happened when I tried to re-install OSX 10.4, after something made the system think that it was only running 10.1, so I was reading a magazine, listening to some Jack Johnson, and when it finished, it just stopped. so I left it for a while as the boot screen, the grey apple logo, rested on my screen. After a bit, I was scared it was going to burn an apple-shapped hole in my computer, I restarted it, still to no prevail, so I restarted, ejecting the disk as I went. same old boring apple logo, so I switched it off, this time diskless, but it still doesnt work. I’m gonna take it to an apple store soon as I can to see if they can fix it for the last stretch of the wait for iLife ’07 and Leapoard

New guitar

Well, a couple of days ago, we went down to the post office to check the mail, and it went something like this:

“hey, could I please get the mail for PO box 642, for David Joseph, with a nice grin on my face. “Uh no you can’t!, with that kind of ‘oh no you didn’t attitude’, you need authorization, identification, plus, your only, what? 15? I can’t just let any delinquent walk in here and get somebody’s mail!,” so sterotypical of old people not trusting us young’uns, I mean if it was an adult – sure no problem!, so I walk back to the car, and said: “Mum, they wont let me get Dave’s mail, they say they need ID and authorization. So me and Emma sit in the car patiently, while my Mum goes in and susses things out and comes out 5 minutes later with my spanking new guitar

Now this guitar, must I say looks beautiful! It’s a nice couple of shades of baby blue and sea blue, with a crisp sound coming from those smooth steel strings. I played it so much last night that I couldn’t play any guitar today, because my fingers were so sliced up. I love it! If you wanna hear it, look at it or play it yourself, give us a call and drop round

Over use of Perfume on old ladies

No here is a message to all you oldies! Don’t over dose on the cheap perfumes! On the bus today, I was nearly choking because I had 2 old ladies sitting next to me, practically dripping with their ‘old lady smell perfume’. i coughed and sneezed and by the time I got off the bus I was ready to puke and savouring every single breath of fresh, smoggy air until I got to school in the nice airconditioning

School and Homework

dammit man, Homework already. MY DAMN MATHS TEACHER! 5 large exercises on the 3rd day! seriously, what do they expect us to enoy doing homework after 2 months of holidays? They must be dreaming… actually what the heck is with this thing ‘Homework’ anyway? what kid wants to sit at home on a sunny sunday like today and do s**t like ‘If blank/4 has a value between 5 and 6, then the number could be:
A28 B 25 C 15 D 27
?? some of the stuff is so mind boring as well, I mean who cares what the improper fraction of 1 and 1/2 is? (3/2 I believe :D). Honestly though, another Homework task was what major event happened during 1337-1381. I mean we all know that it is when 1337 (LEET) started, which is a type of internet/hacking language, but everyone knows its when King Charles V was ruler of France… And guess what I have to write a 250 word essay on? The Christian Cross! guess what Subject it’s from? No. Not Religion. No. Not History. No. Not even world cultures! Design and Tech. Now please comment and tell me what the Cross has to do with design and technology. Seriously!

Enough of my ranting for today. Point is, homework should be banned, infact it’s a sign that the teachers aren’t teaching enough/well enough at school to get all the work done. how about they do their homework on how to teach more effectivly so we don’t have to have homework?
