Reverbnation and SPIN Magazine have teamed up to offer 250 FREE downloads from up-and-coming artists HERE. You have to be on Facebook, "like" their page, and allow the popup app to access your profile, but then all 250 songs are up for grabs. There does not appear to be a way to sort by genre or artist name, but you can preview all songs before downloading them, or just get 'em all and weed through them later! (The free MP3s are offered so users can vote for a band to play in Austin - voting ends September 12, so the songs may not be available after that day).

I have an extra code to download the Mayhem Fest sampler from iTunes for free! This was included in the free program for Mayhem that was available for attendees to pick up. Some of the songs are the same as were offered in the iPhone app and Mayhem Fest website, but there's a handful that are different. Here's a screenshot of the songs - the highlighted ones are exclusive to this free sampler and not on the others!

I'll keep it open 'til next Wednesday at 8pm (9/7) and draw a winner.
