This is a baby blanket I just finished, as you can see it is pink and white in colors. It has been doubled crochet and shows more of pink and one side and then more of the white on the other side.

This blanket is smaller than the blus and white on I made, but is still a nice size. It measures
about 36" across and 42" down

Touble with getting PayPal Set Up!!!!

2012-03-20T22:21:00.002-07:00

I am working very hard trying to get PayPal set up on this blog so that it will be easier to go to each item and just click a button on the one you want to order, but I am having a terrible time getting any
help from google on this! So if you would just bear with me a bit longer hopefully I will have this done soon.
I will also be putting up new items to see and order as soon as I can get all of this up and going with the paypal.
Thank you for your patients!

Getting pictures back together

2012-01-28T08:27:00.000-08:00

Since the ordeal with google+, I am having to go back
and get /find all of the pictures of the baby blankets,
shawls and quilts to put back in the right places with
the descriptions that are still there.
Hopefully I will have this done in the near future.
This has turned out to be alot of work and with all
of the other things in the family that has been going
on, honestly this has been the last on my mind.
I will try and get it done soon though and thank you
for being so patient.

Things getting back to normal...SLOWLY!!

2011-12-28T12:19:00.000-08:00

Sorry for not updating sooner, I know it has been
a while but so much has gone on and happened
in my life (so to speak) for the last while, I am
still trying to find a way back.

1st off THANK YOU TO EACH OF YOU THAT
HAS PRAYED AND THAT ARE STILL PRAYING
FOR MEMBERS IN MY FAMILY!! The prayers
have been tremendous and all of the prayer lists
we've been put on is out of site...I can't thank each
of you enough for your prayers! GOD BLESS
EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!!!!!!

2nd for those that don't know what I'm talking
about we found out my dad has cancer in his
pancreas and lower stomach, we've made several
trips back and forth to hospital for test and Dr.
visits. They aren't going to do anything because
of dad's age and health problems...not to mention
dad said he was through with more surgeries.
So it is suppose to be a slow growing type of
cancer, at this point all we can do is wait and see.

Then one of my g.daughter's boyfriend had an
accident, he was cutting trees down and one fell
on him hitting him in the head. Broke every bone in
face and had serve concision. Has had three surgeries
and will need more. Was in icu for wks, but is now
home and is doing better.

My oldest g.daughter gave birth to a sweet baby girl
the 13th of this month.(Very high risk pregnancy) this
was her second child. After delivery she started having
problems and was kept in hospital for a extra day or so.
Then sent home, the next night had to be rushed back to
hospital because of heart failure, and was in icu for
several days. It has been critical for her most of the time
but she is now home and the Dr. said it would be a very
long and slow process for her.

My mother has had several TIA's, which for those of you
that aren't familiar with that term...it is mini strokes.
Either a few or a cluster of mini strokes. I have had a lot
asking about the tia's, so when I get a chance I will add
some info about them on my other blog for those that

would like to check it out.

Thank you each one of you again, I greatly appreciate
everything so much!

if you go to change or delete from
that site and you do not get any help
with any of it when you ask for help!

Quilts made by Grandma

2011-02-25T13:22:00.000-08:00

Each of these quilts that are pictured below are made
by Whila Strait. She has been making quilts for many
years and does all of the work/sewing by hand which
most people do not do any more!

Grandma can make any of these quilts in any color,
which she normally has all of the basic colors on hand.
If you want a special color it will of course cost more.

(special color meaning...a special shade of a color that
can not be bought just any where).

Grandma can make pillow shams to match any quilt that
she makes, she makes sizes of twin, queen or king.

New Blog / Underconstruction

2010-12-15T08:59:00.000-08:00

Hi,
I am starting a new blog, with this one it will be about the items
that I make and some others make...such as baby blankets, quilts
shawls, wraps and some jewerly.

At this point not quiet sure exactly what will be on here to sell
but we will see as it goes along. This is another way to get more
info out there on what some of us do.

This will also be different from my other two blogs, so I want to
make sure it has the correct look for it.

So check back from time to time and see what's going on and
how far I have gotten with it.

Thanks,
Cookie
