Its been a busy year! Firstly exhibiting my work at Fringe. Teaching many enjoyable and fun workshops and classes. Exhibiting at many new venues and the regular ones! Changing my stalls appearance and playing with so many new ideas. Plus seeing so many friends around on the exhibiting circuit... you know who you are xx

I want to say a big thank you to all of you for supporting me through 2013 and I hope that you continue to do so.

My future thoughts for 2014...
Teaching more workshops and setting up a weekly mentor group for creative textile students. Re-opening my etsy stall. Exhibiting in a few new venues and may be travelling less! We'll have to see what 2014 brings me!

Have a fantastic time celebrating tonight. I hope everyones wishes come true in 2014! xx

Made out of handpainted / sprayed, different thicknesses of lutradur. The shapes were soldered out and then machine embroidered on top. Really chuffed with it. It'll be on its way to a lovely lady very soon....

Just finished this little lot.... Pink Pig cartridge drawing books, which are all cosy inside my Angie Hughes and nature inspirations textured book covers. I love the textures and most importantly the colours.

An organic looking charcoal hat. Silks (Gives it a shine and texture) and dyed mohair (Breaks the surface colour up.) have been added and absorbed by the merino wool. Has two ripple horns either side.

One of my new cloche hats. This is one of the new buckles that I made out of fimo last week. Buckle inspired by the lovely Chrissie and a tunic that I bought the other day. I think it works well.

Couldn't resist the temptation of using these two blends that I have had blended by world of wool. Iv had them a while, but just not had the time to play with them. Ones in purples and pinks and other in rainbow shades.

Made from multiple layers of hand painted or dyed Lutradur. Fused together and machine embroidered. Ill be sad to part from this piece....

Heres a few scarves I made yesturday. The lime piece is hand dyed muslin and other is white silk chiffon, both nuno'ed on top. Also a new little experiment with silk ponge super fine merino and some dreads, made into a short neck scarf.
