Here are two paper bag minis. They are simple and quick to make using up some of those leftover scraps. One is using the Simple Stories "Documented" collection and the other is Prima's "Romance Novel" collection.

Romance Novel Mini Album

This is an album I made using Prima's "Romance Novel" collection. I have to say, I LOVE this collection. It is absolutely full of vintage goodness. I hope to upload the video for the complete album on Monday evening.

The cover has some seam binding and Recollections bling.

French Country Recipe Mini

I love the new French Country collection from Graphic 45. The colors are just beautiful. So much fun to work with. I made this album to place your recipes as well as your photos in. The album measures 7" x 11 1/4".

Place In Time Paper Bag Mini

I love the "Place In Time" paper collection. We all can take at least 3 photos and journal something each month for a year. I know even I could do that.
I used brown paper bags from the Dollar Tree, an 8 x 8 paper pad and the layout for each month is the same.

The front cover is very simple. A piece of seam binding is used for the closure.

The layout for each month is the same.

I have placed to wallet sized photo mattes in each pocket.

The small calendar and a postage stamp clip on the side of the page.

Here I pulled out the mattes to show you the page..

A postcard from the collection can be used for names, dates or journaling.

At the top of each page is a pull out photo matte for each month.

These two pages are embellished with a couple of small flowers.

December is embellished with the word "joy" made from felt.

File Folder Junk Journal

Heidi Swap has come out with decorative file folders and that is what I used to make this Junk Journal along with some old magazine ad clippings. I placed Olive Garden brown paper bags and a Starbucks bag in the Journal. Also coffee stained pockets and journaling paper.

A kraft envelope and some vintage tags make the cover.

A place for journaling on backside of cover.

I love the color of these file folders.

I cut up an Olive Garden bag and placed it in the Journal.

Here is a Starbucks bag too.

I used several pieces of the Industrial Chic vellum through out the Journal.

Here is an original vintage ad from the 1940's era.

I did use washi tape through out.

Place In Time Monthly Album

Here is a project that I did using Graphic 45's "Place in Time" collection and grocery paper bags. I got the idea from tatteredrosestudios after watching her video. I loved her book so much I knew that I needed to make one like it using the "Place in Time".

I used lace and crinkled seam binding to hang on the book spine.

Here are binder clips that I tied seam binding to and the diagonal down the book pages.

Each month has a pocket to place your bills in and an envelope to hold you checks.

Cute Little Old Curiosity Shop Mini

Hi everyone! I hope you're having a great day. I am trying to use up some of the MANY scraps I have laying around my scrap room. So I plan on making several of these smaller albums in the future. This one is a 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 album made using G45's "The Old Curiosity Shop" collection.

I used lace, seam binding and twine in the binding.

I used acetate with a decorative design on it.

Wallet size matte.

Small chipboard frame.

Coffee stained paper.

More seam binding to close a flip page.

Another piece of acetate.

Love the "when pigs fly" paper.

Budget Planner, Crinkled Seam Binding and Junk Journal Swap

Hi everyone! I hope that your New Year is starting out GREAT!! Here is a couple of projects I have been working on. Also I received a junk journal the other day from a swap I had participated in a few months ago and wanted to share it with you.

Tried my hand at staining and crinkling some seam binding.

Here I made a quick and easy budget planner for 2013.

Curtain Call Wedding Album

For most people, the Curtain Call collection from Graphic 45, would be the last paper collection they would think of using for their wedding album. But for my niece, who had a non-traditional wedding, this was the perfect paper line.
The mini measures 10 1/2" x 7" and I used red and vintage colored seam binding along with some vintage lace. The album turned out better than I had expected.

The cover has a large key and Prima paper flowers.

I created a flip page here along with some tags.

The page on the right opens up to reveal 4 photos.

More tags and photos, plus a booklet that hold 4 photos.

I used lots of seam binding to close the photo booklets.

I used some Tim Holtz vintage photo tape on this page.

London Market Vintage Journal Book

This journal book was made using PinkPaislee's "London Market" collection. The file folders, envelopes and notebook paper are all coffee stained. For the most part I used Tim Holtz stamp sets from various collections of his. I used dyed seam binding in pink, taupe, and chocolate. The London Market is such a gorgeous paper line that it made this album come together so easily.

I placed a small file folder on the cover to journal in.

Lots of places for tags.

I used a Maya Road envelope here.

Nutcracker Sweet Large Gift Bag Album

This album was made using the larger sized gift bags that I purchased from Michaels. I used the "Nutcracker Sweet" paper collection from Graphic 45. This album is a quick and fun album to make. I will be doing a tutorial on how to remove the bag handles and on putting the bags together. I will be uploading the tutorial on Sunday afternoon.

Quick Christmas File Folder Project

This is a fun little gift bag mini I made using MME Lost & Found Halloween collection and some plain brown gift bags that I got at JoAnns. The spiders are Jolies that you can get at Michaels. I used the gift bags for the pages. I simply removed the twine handles before I started making the album.

I used the spider webbing on the spine of the album.

I placed tags and booklets in the pockets.

These pages were to cute to cover up.

I added a few tags that were not from the Lost & Found collection.

This is an 8" x 8" chipboard album that I designed for the Mini Album Scraps Community Ning Site. I used the Happy Hauntings paper collection from Graphic 45.

The album has a twine binding with burlap.

A photo booklet is hinged from two eyelets at the top of the page.

Three photo booklets hang from this page.

Ladies Diary 8 x 8 Mini Album

This is a custom ordered 8" x 8" chipboard album that I made using G45's "A Ladies' Diary" paper collection. I based it off the "Vintage Ladies Diary" album I had made previously. I used both the 12" x 12" and 8" x 8" sized paper pads in this album.

I used a Recollections flower and Prima bling on the front cover.

A coffee sleeve is used as a pocket for tags.

A stamped kraft envelope here.

Lots of pockets for photos.

4 x 6 photo matte.

I used seam binding to make a band to hold two 4 x 6 photo mattes.

Wedding Silhouette Chipboard Album

This was a custom ordered album. I used the Wedding Silhouette collection from TPC Studios. The album measures 9 1/2" x 6 1/2". It has a touch of vintage as well as a touch of class.

I used a gorgeous ring charm and lots of wonderful lace.

I stamped on a manila bright and added some seam binding.

The crotchet trim adds a touch vintage to the page.

A large pocket on the right for photos and memorabilia.

I used some "definitions" stickers throughout the album.

A 4 x 6 matte with some stamping underneath.

Here is a super fast and fun album to make. I used Stephanie Millers ("With a Grin") tutorial to make the base of the album. I made mine somewhat different than hers, but the construction is basically the same. Mine measures 10" x 4" and is complete with tags and mattes. I used Graphic 45's new collection "Happy Hauntings". Below is the link to that tutorial.

On the cover I used black pleated trim as well as some black rosettes.

I used a chain for the closure and a Tim Holtz "courageous" charm.

This page has room for two wallet size photos.

I placed both folded and full tags in this pocket.

I have a band that holds the tags in place on this page.

Page to the right has a band that holds the tags in place and has a little booklet attached to it.

The pocket on the left holds a black policy envelope that has three photo mattes.

This is the two mattes when folded down.

Here is the third matte.

This album was made using Simple Stories "Documented" paper collection. I love the neutral colors in this collection. The album is full of pockets and tags.

I used a twine trim and metal bling on the cover.

Vintage Junk Journals

Here are just a few photos from two more Antiquities Vintage Junk Journals I made. They measure 9 1/2" x 6" and have chipboard covers. I used coffee stained manila folders, stained #10 envelopes, stained ruled notebook paper, coffee sleeves, old vintage photo postcards, stained tags, stained vintage car magazine inserts, vintage paper bags, and paper from the Antiquities collection. I used G45 and Tim Holtz stamps and each album has 2 charms hanging from the binding. They are both are assembled differently and are both similar to the Antiquities Vintage Smash/Junk Journal that I made in a swap recently. Below is the video link to give you an idea of what the inside looks like. I didn't use the Starbucks paper bag in these two journals, instead I used the vintage paper bags.

Simple Stories Baby Steps Journal

I made this album as a custom order for a special couple that are about to go on an awesome adventure of trying to start a family. This gate-fold album measures 8" x 6" each side and has lots of pockets and tags for journaling.

I used seam binding on the cover to attach the title plates.

I made a little booklet for two 4 x 6 photos and titled it "Can You Believe This Was Us?"

I placed a larger pocket for some little notes.

Here is a pocket for photos.

Lots of spots for journaling. Also a tri-fold pocket or baby names.
