Happy Monday!!
What a beautiful day it is here in the Ozarks! There is a light rain falling this morning, but I'm ok with that. The last couple of weeks we have had hard rains, severe storms and flooding that I am just fine with the light rain today.

I finished up a fun grungy project that I had been working on using the aged Tim Holtz snapshots. The inspiration for this journal book came from the latest issue of the Somerset Studio. I hope that you enjoy the flip thru as much as I did creating it!!

2022-04-19T18:33:00.003-05:00

Hello my sweet friends!!
I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter holiday!!
I have been playing with the new Tim Holtz snapshots as I plan to make a fun journal in the near future. I wanted to age the snapshots as my journal will be in a grunge style and the snapshots are just too white as is.
Here's my process for ageing them:

Go from white to aged!

Use any gel medium or Collage Pauge matte.

Grab some pattern tissue paper.

Pour some medium on the snapshot and spread evenly.

Lay tissue over photo and pour a little medium on it.

Spread evenly on snapshot and let dry.

Trim excess tissue from around photo.

Ink with distress ink.

Hello my crafty friends!!
What a beautiful Sunday in the Ozarks!! The frigid temperatures have past and it feels more like a fall day today.
I love to search Pinterest. It is my "go to" for ideas and vintage images. Not sure how we ever survived before it came along...lol. Anyway, I have saved an image of an altered clipboard that I wanted to try. It is something that is kind of "out of my box" so to speak, but I went ahead and gave it a whirl.
The first image is the Pinterest image and then my project photos follow.
I really had a great time creating this one!!
