Second Line

The moon struck boy used to play a song in every moonlit night

“Never leave me alone, o sweet heart never leave me alone”

The moon seemed more pale and depressed then

The song was very heartfelt and always pierced my heart

Why don’t know, I always felt guilty of it and could not sleep the whole night.

The boy did not know more than one line

And used to repeat the one single line

Again and again until the highway police come and scare him away

The tired departure of the boy always made me feel guilty

And I could not forget the sight the whole night.

I was a middle aged female and the boy was hardly twenty

I fall in love with him perhaps I was struck with the illusion he created

One day I called the boy waving my hands but he didn’t respond

I waited for the next moonlit but the boy never came again

I waited and waited, I have been waiting forever.

Moonlit night still comes to the earth and make me moon struck

I sing, “O stranger, come back to my heart, come back to my heart”

I can never memorize a second line of this song

I always searched for the second line but in vain.

Change in breast structure:

You know your breast well. If you are habituated with breast examination you know it even better. So when you experience any changes in the shape and size for no reasonable cause like pregnancy or menstrual circle you should consult your doctor. Consider the change based on the actual shape and size; don’t be confused if you are not happy with your current structure. These are different things. A sudden and permanent swell or dimpling, breast tenderness etc. are notable changes. Prolonged change in texture:

In an early chapter I have already described that women can usually have lumps in their breast and its nothing to panic if they know it’s usual for their breast through barest self-exam. Most breast lumps are not cancer. If you perform regular breast exam then you know the normal behaviors like regularity of occurrence, shape, size and feel of the lumps of your breast. In these case when you notice any change for more than a menstrual period you have to check it out for conformation.

If you never had a breast lump before and it’s totally new to you should handle it carefully. If the lump appears in the breast or near the armpit and feels totally different something like a sharp stone in a beach, or a marble in a granular surface you should take it to your doctor’s notice if it persists over a full menstrual period. The lump that occasionally causes cancer more often hold sharp edges but they might be smooth and round as well. The size can be either as small as a peanut or as big as a small olive.

Remember, the first indication of breast cancer is typically a painless lump. Breast soreness or breast tenderness is not usually an early sign.

Get familiar with your breast performing the BSE once a month and never leave it as no age is too early or too late for breast cancer. Mind it it is a very useful cost free test to check breast cancer.

Perform the BSE after few days of the period when your breast comes back to its usual shape and no longer looks puffy and tender. If you are no longer having periods, select a certain day of the month that you can easily remember.
If you sense a lump in your breast don’t get panicked. Most of the women have lumps or a lumpy part in their breast that does not necessarily means they have a breast cancer. Only 20% of the women who were examined for a suspicious lump in their breast were suffering from breast cancer in recent time.
All the areas of breast are not of similar texture. The upper and near to armpit area often contains notable lumps and swelling. Other areas may feel like a conic or basin whereas the lower half feels like a sandy or rocky beach. The area around and under the nipple gives the feeling of a granular surface.

Steps of BSE
