Ana Benaroya is an illustrator, typographer, and designer; but above all, a decent human being. This is quite possibly her proudest accomplishment to date. When not drawing, screen-printing, or Photoshop-ing, Ana can be found consuming large amounts of hot sauce, usually along with a turkey sandwich of sorts.

A proud New Jerseyan at heart, Ana moved to Baltimore after high school to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art to receive her BFA in Illustration with a minor in Art History. While there, she produced mass amounts of artwork and worked/interned for clients such as DC/Vertigo Comics, ABC World News Tonight, The Ottobar, The 8 x 10 Club, and The Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum.

Marc Simonetti is a French artist, born in 1977 and currently living in Annecy, France. He graduated from the INSA Lyon School with an engineer diploma. After studying at the Emile Cohl School Marc Simonetti started to work in the artistic field as a background 3D artist for the video game industry. Then he began to work as a freelance artist, working with companies such as Fantasy Flight Games, Pocket SF, Bragelonne and Science et Vie Junior, and making the cover art for many Fantasy and SF novels. Marc won in 2006 a Blizzard art contest in Diablo category

Charlene Chua resides in Toronto, currently Canada's rainiest (or second rainiest) city. She usually spends her days hiding from the sun, holing herself up in the studio working on various projects. Surprisingly, she is rather adept at wielding a pencil. She is well versed at casting high-level Photoshop and Illustrator spells with a wave of her hand.

Chris Sickels has been freelancing in the editorial and advertising markets for over six years. In 2000, he officially started Red Nose Studio, providing 2-D and 3-D illustration, character design and development, and lo-fi stop motion animation.

His 3-D illustrations are built from a variety of materials. Sets and puppets are combination of wire, fabric, cardboard, wood, miniatures, found objects and anything within arms reach at the time.

Born and raised in Colombia, Catalina Estrada has been living and working in Barcelona since 1999. Her exuberant dream-like work combines the color and flavor of traditional Latin American folk art with contemporary Asian influences. The ever present floral and botanical shapes are reminiscent of the decorative Arts & Crafts movement whether seen in her wonderland settings or intricate repeat patterns. Catalina's enchanting characters and fantasy lands are inspired by her travels, literature,music, fairytales, family and chilhood experiences playing in nature in the mountains of Columbia . Her artwork has been featured in articles in Communication Arts, DPI, Computer Arts, Die Gestalten Verlag, Swindle, Paper and Graphic Magazine. Her work has also been covered by a number of art and design websites and blogs including illustrationmundo, subaquatica, fusedmagazine, lostateminor, webesteem and lifefever. She was named Best of the Year by netdiver.

Louisa Bertman specializes in untraditional portraiture of powerful personalities. From Jules Feiffer Dr. Cornel West, her custom portraits reside in private collections worldwide. They have graced episodes of television’s The Gilmore Girls; campaigns for The L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center; and covers and contents of magazines and newspapers from Playgirl and GQ, to The Village Voice and The LA Times. Bertman is also working on a signature series of Rock & Art Portraits. Some of her signed portraits include Ringo Starr, Chris Isaak, Ziggy Marley, Huey Lewis,Cyndi Lauper, Chicago, Fergie, Keane, Anna Nalick, and Hilary Duff. The Boston Children's Museum is exhibiting "Life Size Paper Doll" a sculpture collaboration between Louisa Bertman and her father architect/sculptor Richard Bertman. Recently, Bertman’s illustrated portrait of Mikhail Gorbachev was featured on the front page of The Wall Street Journal, and she was recently commissioned to paint those crazy cartalk guys (check out their interview with her www.cartalk.com) for the upcoming 2009 NPR calendar.

Thomas Boucher is dedicated to illustration. Seriously. Okay, so maybe Thomas isn't actually listed in the dictionary, but he is the hardest working, nose-to-the-grindstone illustrator that Alpharetta, Georgia has ever produced. Having earned his BFA at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Thomas hit the ground running, scoring an amazing on-going contract with ILTA. His work ethic harmonizes with his forte—business illustration—which is perfectly suited for his conceptual work. Thomas considers each assignment a cerebral challenge, pushing the envelope in terms of concept and minimalism as he hones in on the perfect visual solution. A founding member of The Squid and the Cachelot in Savannah, Thomas' printmaking background and his sense of humor shine through in his digital illustration work. To his delight, his award-winning work is being recognized nationally by such prestigious publications as the Harvard Business Review. On top of all of this, people say he is fun to work with... how's that for having your cake and eating it too?
