Update for my tim holtz ink storge !

2011-11-17T10:14:00.001-08:00

Here is how I now store my Tim Holtz ink pads. I just recently purchased the fall and winter special edition ink pad sets. After adding six more to my collection I realized that I needed an easier way to find the color I wanted to use on my projects. From this I came up with a plan to use white bazzil card stock and just ink the paper with the color of the ink pad. I can now easily see which color will be perfect for my project.

They are now very visible and easy to see which colors the ink pads are.

This is my Vintage ink storage shelf

I hope this helps anyone with the same problem I was having. This organization took no time at all!!!

A Little behind... And some BLOG CANDY!!!!!

2011-06-23T11:54:00.000-07:00

Hello everyone and happy Thursday! I hope you have all been staying creative and have been keeping up on all the latest products that have been coming out! Anyways so today I finally got a new memory card for my camera but my laptop that I use to do all my blogging is still not fixed. The company should be shipping me a box so I can send it to them to have it fixed. (very frustrating not having a computer). But anyways I think we are close enough to fifty subscribers that I need to give away my first official blog candy! So sometime between now and next week I will be giving away some blog candy to one of my subscribers. So keep checking back to see who gets picked. In the mean time I am really excited to announce that I will be doing Christmas in July. This way I can get a head start on some Christmas gifts. I hope you girls will get in the spirit with me and create some projects of your own. I have already finished two projects. I couldn't help but start early. I am just really excited! Who doesn't just love Christmas?!

Till next time keep staying creative!

P.S. I am looking to buy a web cam to record my shopping hauls and add some tutorials in on my you tube channel. Any suggestions on which one I should get??

Thanks

Emily :)

Its Tuesday!

My Altered Art

2011-05-18T10:24:00.000-07:00

This is some of my latest creativity. I took cigar boxes and altered them.

I first painted the boxes with acrylic paint. I then glued on the paper. I choose to use the DCWV Once Upon A Stack. I also added stickles around the edge of the paper. I used Papricka (new color). The flower is from Michaels (recollections). The last step I did was glimmer mist everything.

For this Altered Cigar box I again painted it first. Then I added K & CO. I glimmer misted everything again to give it the sparkle. I added glittered letters because I made this for my mother for Mothers day.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my creativity. There will be more to come!!! Let me know what you think by leaving me comments.

My new ribbon storage!!!

2011-04-28T09:33:00.000-07:00

So last week I was out shopping about at a local thrift store and happened to come across this shelf. I immediately thought I have got to have this!!! Anyways here is a look at how I slightly altered it and made it my second ribbon storage that I don't keep on the spools. I bought the ribbon holders at walmart in the bathroom section. They are actually just plain old shower hook holders. You get twelve for $1.25 so I ended up buying two or tree packages of them... and whalaahhh I have a new place that give me color inspiration and organization.

Ribbon Storage # 2

It doubles for flower storage on top!

New Websters trim in all colors!!!

Thank-you to all my wonderful & creative followers who comment ! I really appreciate it! Have a fab day!
