একসময় মিত্রশর্মা নামে একজন ব্রাহ্মণ বাস করতেন জজমানী করে তার দিন চলত একদিন এক জজমান তাকে একটি ছাগল দান করল ছাগলটি পেয়ে ব্রাহ্মণ তো দারুণ খুশি তিনি ছাগলটিকে কাঁধে নিয়ে বাড়ির দিকে চলতে শুরু করলেন খুললক চন্নক ও তিলক নামের তিন ঠক তা দেখে ব্রাহ্মণের কাছ থেকে ছাগলটি ঠকিয়ে নেবার ফন্দি আঁকলো প্রথমে খুললক ব্রাহ্মণের দিকে এগিয়ে এসে বলল ও ঠাকুরমশাই কলিকালে হলো কি ভারী আশ্চর্যের ব্যাপার তো আপনি একটি কালো কুকুর কাঁধে করে নিয়ে যাচ্ছেন লোকে এই অদ্ভুত ব্যাপার দেখে তো একেবারে হেসেই খুন হবে এই বলে খুললক বিদ্রুপের হাসি হাসতেলাগলো খুললকের কথা শুনে আর ওকে ওভাবে হাসতে দেখে ব্রাহ্মণ তো ক্ষেপে একেবারে আগুন ব্রাহ্মণ বলল তোমাকে তো দেখছি একজন তরতাজা যুবক কিন্তু তুমি কি অন্ধ চোখের মাথা খেয়ে কি বসে আছো একটা ছাগল আর একটা কুকুরের ফারাক বুঝতে পারো না খুললোক কিন্তু একইভাবে হাসতে হাসতে বলল ঠাকুর মশাই আপনি এত রেগে যাচ্ছেন কেন আমার কথা বিশ্বাস করুন আর না করুন সে আপনার মর্জি তাতে আমার বলার কিচ্ছুটি নেই আপনি যেখানে যাচ্ছিলেন সেখানেই যান

এরপর ব্রাহ্মণ আরো কিছুটা এগিয়ে যেতে চন্নক তার সামনে এগিয়ে এসে বলল ও ঠাকুর মশাই নাম হয় তারপর তার কাঁধের দিকে চোখ পড়তেই সে চমকে উঠে বলল ঠাকুরমশাই করেছেন কি আপনি শেষ পর্যন্ত একটা মরা বাছুরকে কাঁধে করে বয়ে নিয়ে যাচ্ছেন লোকে দেখে কি বলবে বলুন তো তার কথা শুনে ব্রাহ্মণ বলল কে হে তুমি বুদ্ধু আদমি বুদ্ধিশুদ্ধি কি গুলে খেয়েছো একটা ছাগল একটা বাছুর এই দুটোর মধ্যে ফারাক বুঝতে পারছো না মরা কি জ্যান্ত সেটাও বুঝতে পারছো না একেবারে আহাম্মকের এক শেষ যাও দেখি বাবু এখান থেকে দূর হও গিয়ে চন্দনক কিন্তু শান্তভাবে বলল ও ঠাকুর মশাই আমি যা নিজের চোখে দেখেছি তাই তো বললাম আপনি যদি মরা বাছুরটাকে জ্যান্ত ভেবে খুশি হন আমার আর কি বলার থাকতে পারে।

এবার কিন্তু ব্রাহ্মণের বেশ সন্দেহ হলো তিনি দ্বিধান্বিত মনে এগিয়ে যেতে থাকলেন চলতে চলতে একবার আর চোখে দেখে নিলেন প্রাণীটার মুখটা কি ছাগল নাকি বাছুরের মত এইবার তিলক তার কাজ শুরু করল সে এগিয়ে এসে বলল ছি কি লজ্জার কথা ঠাকুরমশাই আপনি শেষে একটা গাঁধাকে কাঁধে করে বয়ে নিয়ে যাচ্ছেন লোকে বলবে কি ব্রাহ্মণের কাঁধে গাঁধা মিত্র শর্মার তখন মনে হলো নিশ্চয়ই ব্যাপারটার মধ্যে কোন গোলমাল আছে সত্যি এটা কি ছাগল না বাছুর না গাঁধা তার জজমান কি ভুল করে তাকে অন্য কিছু একটা গুছিয়ে দিয়েছে এভাবে নানা এলোমেলো চিন্তা করতে করতে ছাগলটা রাস্তার উপর নামিয়ে দিয়ে হন হন করে বাড়ির দিকে তিনি হাঁটা শুরু করলেন। তখন আর কি তিন ঠগের পোয়া 12 তারা তিনজন ছাগলটাকে নিয়ে সেখান থেকে সটকে পড়লো তাড়াতাড়ি ।

নীতি কথা - নিজের ওপর আস্থা রাখা উচিত অন্যের কথা অন্ধভাবে বিশ্বাস করা উচিত নয়

" Believe it or not it's your choice I have nothing to say You go where you are going [MUSIC] Then the Brahmin went a little further Channak came in front of him and said his name is Thakur mashai then glancing at his shoulder he startled and said Thakur mashai Did you end up carrying a dead calf on your shoulders? What will the people say? After listening to him, the Brahmin said, "O Buddha, what have you eaten, a goat, a calf, do you understand the difference between these two, dead or alive?"

আনন্দপুর গ্রাম। এখানে ভোর হয় সূর্যিমামার মিঠে রোদ আর পাখিদের সুমধুর গানে। এখানকার শীতল হাওয়ায় প্রাণ যেন জুড়িয়ে যায়। গাছপালা পশু পাখি মানুষজন সবাই সবার বন্ধু। গ্রামটি খুব ছোট্ট। গ্রামের ঠিক বাইরে বিস্তীর্ণ প্রান্তর যেখানে ছেলেরা পড়াশুনোর পর বিকেলে খেলাধুলায় মেতে ওঠে। আনন্দপুর গ্রাম ও তার খেলার মাঠ কে যুক্ত রেখেছে একটি সরু মেঠো পথ।

এই গ্রামেরই একটি ঘরে বিল্টু আর তার মা থাকে। বিল্টুর বাবা কাজের প্রয়োজনে বাইরে থাকেন, তবে বিল্টুর মা বিল্টুকে সে অভাব বুঝতে দেন না। একটা ছুটির দিনে সকালে বিল্টু দাওয়ায় বসে পড়াশুনা করছিল আর বিল্টুর মা বিল্টুর পড়া শুনতে শুনতে নিজের হাতের কাজ সারছিলেন। কিছুক্ষণ পড়াশোনার পর বিল্টু, মাকে বলল- "মা একটু ঘুরে আসি"। মা বললেন -"বাবা আর একটু পড়াশুনা করে নে, তারপর যাস" বিল্টু মায়ের কথা অমান্য করল না সে আবার পড়াশোনায় মন দিল।

তারপর বিল্টু তার পড়াশোনা শেষ করে ঘুরতে বেরিয়ে গেল আসিস সে খেলার মাঠের দিকে যাচ্ছিল হঠাৎ সে দেখতে পেল একটা কুকুর খুড়িয়ে খুঁড়িয়ে তার দিকে এগিয়ে আসছে সে এটা দেখে কুকুরটার দিকে এগিয়ে গেল তারপর সে কুকুরটাকে কোলে তুলে নিয়ে তার বাড়ির দিকে রওনা দিল কিরে কি হয়েছে এর দেখো কুকুরটা না কেমন খড়িয়ে খড়িয়ে হাঁটছিল ঠিক করে

চলতে পারছিল না তাই একে আমি নিয়ে এলাম ঔষধ লাগিয়ে ভালো করে ব্যান্ডেজ করে দিতে হবে দেখিস কিছুদিন পর ওর উপা ঠিক হয়ে যাবে তারপর আবার ভালোভাবে চলতে পারবে এখন ও একটু বিশ্রাম করুক এরপর কিছুদিন কেটে যায় দেখতে দেখতে কুকুরটাও সুস্থ হয়ে ওঠে সে হাঁটতেও পারে কুকুরটাকে সুস্থ হতে দেখে বেল্টু খুব খুশি হয়ে যায় কুকুরটাও আনন্দে লাফাতে থাকে তারপর তারা ছুটতে ছুটতে খেলার মাঠের দিকে বেরিয়ে গেল কুকুরটাও লাফাতে লাফাতে তার পেছন পেছন চলল গ্রামের এক প্রান্তে একটা পুরনো কুয়ো ছিল তারা অন্যমনস্ক ভাবে ছুটতে ছুটতে যাচ্ছিল কুয়োটা খেয়ালকরেনি বিল্টু কুয়োতে পড়ে যাওয়াতে কুকুরটা চিৎকার করতে থাকে সে কোথাও থেকে একটা গাছের ডাল নিয়ে আসে ও সেটা দিয়ে সে বিল্টুকে তোলার চেষ্টা করে কিন্তু পারে না তারপর সে তার বাড়ির দিকে ছুটে যায় কুকুরটা ছুটতে ছুটতে বেল্টুর মায়ের কাছে পৌঁছায় তারপর বেল্টুর মায়ের কাছে চিৎকার করতে থাকে তার মা কিছুই বুঝতে পারে না বিল্টু কোথায় কোথায় যে গেল ছেলেটা বিল্টু বিল্টু কি হলো কি তোর যা যা এখন আমার অনেক কাজ বিরক্ত করিস না কুকুরটা বিল্টুর মায়ের শাড়ি ধরে টানতে থাকে তখন তার মা ভাবলো ও বোধহয় কিছু বলতে চাইছে সে তখন তার পেছন পেছন চলতে থাকলো

তারপর দেখল কুকুরটা কুয়োর দিকে এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে বিল্টুর মা কুমর কাছে গিয়ে ভেতরে তাকিয়ে দেখল যে বিল্টু বাবা কিভাবে পড়ে গেলি তুই এখানে সে তার মাকে বলতে লাগলো কিভাবে পড়লো সে সব কথা শোনার পর তার মা বলল আচ্ছা বাবা তুই একটু অপেক্ষা কর আমি কিছু একটা ব্যবস্থা করছি এই বলে বিল্টুর মা গ্রামের দিকে রওনা দিল বিল্টুকে তোলার কিছু একটা ব্যবস্থা করে করতে কিছুক্ষণ পর বেল্টুর মা একটা দড়ি নিয়ে এলো তাকে তোলার জন্য তাকে বলল এই নে এই দড়িটা ধরে উপরে উঠে আয় বেল্টু সেই দড়িটা ধরে উপরে উঠে আসে তারপর তারা সবাই খুশি হয় মুখে হাসি ফুটে ওঠে সবাই মিলে একসঙ্গে |

Engrossed in thoughts with inquisitiveness for life is what best describes the girl in the picture. She has adorned a casual girly outfit complementing the braided bandanna overlaying her head.

The photograph was taken indoors with natural sunlight as the only source of light coming from a window. The light was decent enough to capture the mood of the girl right at that moment.
