Altered Tongue Depressors

2017-05-07T11:44:00.004-04:00

Hi Friends,

Happy Sunday to all of you !

Recently I was challenged in a swap, to create something from a mystery item that would
be sent to me and the rest of the participants..
Since I love a challenge, I signed up to do it, not knowing that Tongue Depressors was the Mystery Items.
So I put on my Thinking Cap and created the following art pieces.
I really had fun with them and the ladies who received them , loved them too.

Altered Puzzle Piece

Altered Jean Pocket

2017-05-06T16:46:00.002-04:00

Hi Friends,

I love altering things into unique art pieces and jean pockets don't escape me. :)
I had an old pair of jeans so I decided to cut it up. Took the pockets off, the waist part and several
side pieces for later use.
With one pocket and some lovely lace pieces ,an image and some appliques, I transformed it into
this lovely hanging piece.

Hugs,

My Little Merlin (fur baby) has passed!

2017-02-28T15:23:00.003-05:00

Hi Friends,

It is so sad that I have returned to my blog with Bad News!

With a broken heart I just wanted all of you to know our little Merlin has passed!

He had a very bad weekend, so I took him to the Vet yesterday and she informed me , his time had come. He lost his bout with Cancer.

What a horrible thing to go through. I held him and said, my goodbyes , he looked at me and then he crossed the Rainbow bridge. He was an amazing, lovable little dog that filled our lives with so much happiness for 15 1/2 years. All the lovely memories we have of him , will live in our hearts until we meet again!

RIP Our little baby.... Love and kisses
