Despite being seasoned campaigners at this distance, both would admit that they found it tough and it was only the thought of 'a drop of the black stuff' at the finish that kept them going! Eurof finished in a time of 3hrs and 38 minutes, with Gerry a few minutes later despite struggling the last few miles with a calf injury.

]]> Sat, 19 Nov 2011 18:51:09 GMT Ironman Aled !! http://www.creigiau23.org.uk/english/announcements.php I’m sure you all would like to join us in congratulating fellow member, Mr Aled Evans after completing the recent Ironman Wales. The event which comprised of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and of course a full marathon took place in Tenby and the surrounding Pembrokeshire countryside. Aled, who has already run the London Marathon finished the course in 14 hours and 43 minutes.
