Everyone enjoyed Brother Junaid’s company and were enthralled with his little anecdotes from his life story and off course his beautifull voice. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to hear more of his nasheeds but otherwise it went well and managed to raise nearly £8,500! Well done everyone.

Brother Milad arrived at 1pm and started his interview, they talked about Milad’s inspirations as he grew up, how he came into Naat Khawani and so much more.  After this interview Brother Milad then met those who had come to see him, he took photos with the children and also signed their CD’s. Brother Zubair then took over with the interview where lots of your questions were answered, (what’s the naughtiest thing youv’e ever done?), questions from Facebook, your texts, emails were all answered.  Throughout the interview session Brother Milad also fulfilled your requests live in the studio!

One year on from the country’s worst-ever floods that left more than 21 million people in need, Pakistan’s southern plains have been inundated again, with some parts of Sindh province swamped with more water than last summer.

More than 20 million people have been directly affected by the flooding in Pakistan, with over 1,600 people killed.

Crescent Aid with the help of its partner charities will use your donations to purchase food parcels locally in Pakistan and distribute it directly to the people in need. Please donate generously and help us reach the people directly to ensure they get the maximum help from us.

Each food parcel will cost approximately £25 so please contribute whatever you can. You can donate in many different ways:
