He might be a good batsman but he doesn't have the killing instinct like Saeed Anwar had. When Saeed Anwar use to play he just simply destroyed the opponent, but watching Nasir seems to me that I just saw another century, because after his century India is still in the game. He couldn't took the game away from his opponent. on the other hand, If Saeed Anwar made 70+, the opposition were doomed.

INDIA were completely outplayed by Junaid Khan. It just reminded me of AUS 88 all out by Aamir & Asif. but Dhoni did a hell of job. Truely a master, but Nasir Jamshed should have been given the award because he is young n new in game, a little courtesy was missing by sponsors. Indian Captain Dhoni struggles more and more but he gave a marvelous job today but India loose the match he fells down so many times but he marvelous job that's i salute Dhoni.

Sachin Tendulkar has announced his retirement from ODIs, having played 463 matches, and making 18426 runs, 49 hundreds and 96 fifties.
I was a little kid when he started to play & now I have grey hair in my head....lol...I think he is a good player but he is also very luck that he got to play for a very long time & it makes him lucky because no one else has ever got this much time to play for his country & that's why he has such a big record! I don't consider him the best...he is definitely lucky. No doubt he is the best.... But we should know that everything has an End.... so Best of luck for him for the future... I think he should now give chance to the young cricketer in test & T20 also by retiring... Hope people will remember you for your awesome batting in the one day games, where you entertained all of us.

We have lost our Master Batsman . He deserved better treatment from the public. Last few weeks it was really sad to see those harsh comments. This man gave his 23 years of life for Indian cricket and when he stopped performing a little bit, all were taking it as a excuse to bash him from all corners. All players go through poor patches and Sachin is no exception , but people here were so judgmental in deciding his fate. I am sure Sachin paji would have read the comments that were made against him and He is a legend and Sachin will always remain the true legend of Indian cricket. There will never be a player like Him.

Viral Patel: Sometime in 2001, I was in Wankhede Stadium watching first test match of series between India and Australia. Match was almost at 50-50 and a fresh day was starting (Day 3rd or something) with Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar at the crease. They had to bat out the whole session till Lunch to put India in respectable position and they did against McGrath/Warne.

After Lunch came the defining moment. Sachin Tendulkar hit a ball so hard to short leg person, it hit his helmet and went to the air for about 5 seconds or so. Ponting was right under my nose in between Mid-on and Deep Mid-On and within that 5 seconds, I think he ran as fast as Bolt and took a mind blowing, brilliant and unbelievable catch. That was the best catch I ever saw "LIVE" in stadium. India was just posting a recovery with 154 for 2 wickets and that catch in the bowling of Mark Waugh by Ponting turned the table. We use the term "unbelievable" often but that was really unbelievable the way Ponting ran and took that diving catch.

The way he took that catch, is when I grew "respect" for Ponting and over the period of time, it kept on growing. After all he is the only captain who has won back to back World Cup after Clive Llyod, isnt it? Someone with 40+ Test hundred in difficult batting pitches of Australia is a commanding record. One name I always associate with Ponting is Greg Blewett, as both started their career together, pretty much like Tendulkar/Kambli or Inzamam/Basit Ali but look at where Ponting ended his career. Yes it needs a bit of luck but more than that it needs lots of hard work, dedication and talent to survive.

Cameron O'Neil: Never have I seen a finer player of fast bowling (Tendulkar included). I can't wait for the medias response when the muppet who replaces him absolutely fails, whilst at the same time Punter is piling on the runs in Shield games. Most successful captain Australia has ever seen, the best fielder we've ever seen, and my boyhood hero. You will be missed Punter.

It was huge trick against Pakistan. These poor players even don't know their value. MOHALI: Pakistan lost the World Cup semi final by 29 runs against India on 30 march 2011.
Chasing a Fighting total of 261 runs, Pakistan were dismissed for 231 with a ball to spare after all of India's five bowlers took two wickets apiece.
Misbah-ul-Haq, who top scored for Pakistan with 56, helped take them from 208 for nine to a situation where an unlikely 30 was needed off the last over.
India's 260 for nine after winning the toss against their arch-rivals was built around Sachin Tendulkar's 85.But they might have made considerably less had not the star batsman been dropped four times in an innings that still left him one short of a hundred international hundreds.
Left arm fast bowler Wahab Riaz led Pakistan's attack with career best figures of 5/46.
For Pakistan, openers Kamran Akmal and Mohammad Hafeez provided a good start of 44 runs before Kamran was caught by Yuvraj Singh at point off Zaheer Khan for 19.

Mirpur ( Dhaka ): Pakistan dismissed West Indies for 112 runs in the first quarter finals of the ICC World Cup 2011 at Mirpur on 23 March ( Youm-e-Pakistan ).
West Indies could not resist against the Pakistan spin attack, led by Shahid Afridi, and were all out in 43.3 overs, giving Pakistan an easy target of 113.
Leg spinner Shahid Afridi, already the tournament's leading wicket taker, took his tally to 21 as he finished with four for 30, including two wickets off successive balls.

COLOMBO: Asad Shafiq's 46 runs and Man of the match Umar Akmal's unbeaten 44runs helped Pakistan end Australia's 34th match unbeaten World Cup streak, with a victory in Colombo that takes them top of Group A.
Pakistan stopped Australia’s unbeaten 34 match run in the World Cup history on 19 March 2011.
Chasing an easy target of 177 runs, Pakistan completed victory with 9 overs to spare but they lost six wickets in the process.
Umar Gul took three for 30 to help Pakistan dismiss Australia for 176 -- their lowest World Cup total since 1992 -- before Umar Akmal hit an unbeaten 44 to steer Pakistan to victory in 41 overs, finishing top of the pool with 10 points.
This was Australia's first defeat in the World Cup since losing to Pakistan by 10 runs in Leeds in 1999 Worldcup, that time Wasim Akram was Skipper.
