I thought I was done posting my Christmas cards but I guess not. The embellishments are from Spellbinder Foliage Die Cut and Scalloped Circle, Anna Griffin christmas stickers (layered), Christmas Crafts,

The papers are Urban Coutre, "Old Fashioned Christmas" paper pack, Faith paper pack. All the papers were cut out with my Cricut using Fabulous Finds and Plantin Schoolbook. There is also a Cricut CUT file available by clicking HERE.

"Dec Tree" Christmas Card

I'm getting close to posting all my cards. I kinda went overboard cause I made 75 of them. Plenty for next year I guess. I used a few different papers. The green paper on the bottom is from Recollection's "Old Fashioned Paper Pack". The tan background paper is from Hobby Lobby's "Faith Paper pack". They also sell them in single sheets. The red cardstock is from Core'dinaions Vintage Collection called "Ruby". The red paper with the felt words is from another paper pack I had 2 years ago.
The tree is from Hobby Lobby's "Christmas Crafts". 4 items comes in each pack. To finish, I added a glittered snowflake and the DEC letters are from Anna Griffin.

I used my Cricut to cut out all the papers for the card. I used Fab Finds and Plantin Schoolbook.

"Decorating Tree" Vintage Christmas Card

I don't do many vertical cards but the vintage tag embellishment wouldn't fit horizontally.

These are the supplies I used. I know it's hard to see what's going on.
I cut them all out with my Cricut. I used Fab Finds and Plantin Schoolbook. Plantin gave me the scalloped border to the rectangle. I just welded it to the rectangle from Fab Finds. What's not in the photo to the right is an Anna Griffin Christmas Border. It's an ornament border. You can see it below attached to the card.

This photo shows everything togethor except for the vintage tag of the kids decorating the Christmas Tree. The papers I used were from Recollection's "Old Fashioned Christmas". The scalloped rectangle paper is "Cream Sheet Music" from Hobby Lobby. Lastlly I added a photo corner and some ivy.

"Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" Card #60

Everything on this card can be found at Hobby Lobby. Including every paper and embellishment. I cut every thing out, except the scalloped rectange, this my Cricut. I only used Fab Finds. All the stickers came from Hobby Lobby. It's their "Old Fashioned Christmas" cardstock stickers. TIP: What I do when I get these cardstock stickers, or any sticker for that matter, I put them on white cardstock. That way I can move them around to see if they fit on the card without them sticking to something. I do them all at the same time to make it fast. You only have to do it once. The 2 top stickers I just put side by side. I elevated them by putting foam sheets behind them.

I used a portion of the Bazzill cardstock scallop border, which you can see above. I colored it with Vintage Photo distress ink. These borders are a full size 12 inch wide. So you can use them on a scrapbook layout.

Very easy card to make.

Grungeboard Christmas Tree Card #59

This is a card that I used grungeboard on. It's the christmas tree.

As always, I cut out all the papers using my Cricut. I used Fab Finds and Plantin cartridges. I created the entire sketch on my Design Studio first then cut it all out. The scalloped piece is the combination of both cartridges.

I covered an A2 card with paper called “Ornaments on Black” made by Hobby Lobby. I also used Ruby and Asparagus Core'dinations cardstock, Paper Pizazz “Red Music” and Cosmo Cricket for the scalloped border. I cut out the Asparagus cardstock with the Deckled Edge Spellbinder die cut. I stenciled it with Peeled Paint Distress ink and added a stocking sticker. I also added rub on stickers from Making Memories Advent Calender. The rub-on is "Believe".

I painted the grungeboard tree green and added Stickles to border it and as ornaments.

Vintage Kids Sledding Christmas Card 64

This is my "Kids Sledding" card. I cut everything but the red/white scalloped piece with my Cricut. I only used Fabulous Finds on this card.

The papers I used are:
- Cream Sheet Music, by The Paper Studio
- Faith Paper Pack, by the Paper Studio
- Old Fashioned Christmas paper pack

Other supplies are the tag that's front and center which is from K and Co. The red/white scalloped border piece is from Anna Griffin Christmas Borders. I used the Deckled Edge die cut from Spellbinders and stenciled with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. I also added a few layered pointsettias also by K and Co. They always have high quality embellishments. Great vintage decorations.

Rejoice Christmas Card

Like I do with ALL my cards, I made a Cricut .Cut file for everything on this card and cut it all out.

The papers I used are Creative Imaginations (red), Basic Grey Urban Coutre. I cut the Spellbinder Lacey Square die cut with “Fall Script” by K and Co. To stencil I used Tea Dye. The “Rejoice” was a clear stamp by Indakinkado “Holiday Expressions”. The Christmas tree on the Lacey Square is from K and Co. “Glad Tiding's”. I added a gold bow to finish it off. I used Glossy Accents all over it because I don't want the glitter to get all over the place.

These are the individual pieces I used to make the card. I stenciled on the Lacey Square with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Home for the Holidays Cricut Christmas Card

This is my "Home for the Holidays" Christmas Card. As usual, I used my Cricut to create the entire card. If you have the Design Studio, along with your Cricut, you can download the Cricut .cut file HERE. You will need the Fab Finds for everything BUT the scalloped border. That's where Plantin comes in. IF you don't own it then it will cut as a rectangle.

Back to the card, the supplies I used are to your right. The only thing not shown is the Spellbinder die cut Deckled Edge. I cut it out on white cardstock so it would have a white border after using Stormy Sky Distress ink for stenciling. Another die cut I used were their flourishes. I stenciled with Old Paper on that one. The last piece added was a Christmas tag from K. and Company. It's a very easy and fast card to make. That's my kinda card!

Let it Snow Cricut Christmas Card

This is a cute little card I have to say. I like using more than a couple colors. I introduced the blue in the background paper and the Lacey Die Cut from Spellbinder.

All the papers except for the tan paper at the bottom are from Recollections "Old Fashioned Christmas" paper pack. It's my fav Xmas pack ever!

I used my Cricut to cut all the papers out. You can DOWNLOAD the .cut file HERE. I used Fabulous Finds and Plantin Schoolbook. The scalloped red rectangle is a combination of BOTH carts. You will need the Design Studio to use the file.

The other pieces I used are the Spellbinder Lacey Square, 2 K and Co. Layered Snowflakes and on the Lacey Square is a Christmas tag from K and Co. They make so many great Christmas embellishments. I also stenciled on the Lacey Sq. using Stormy Blue Distress Ink.

#58 Joy to the World Cricut Christmas Card

This is one of my "Joy to the World" Christmas Cards. It's a little similar to another card I did. That can be found HERE. Anyways........I made a Cricut .cut file from a sketch from SplitCoastStampers. Card Sketch 355 (they call it SC355). You can find the link under the photo of the card above. The red paper was the only paper NOT cut with my Cricut. I used the Deckled Edge Spellbinder die cut.

These are the individual pieces I used to make the card. I used the Fabulous Finds and Plantin Schoolbook. Plantin makes a rectangle a scalloped rectangle. I put the "Joy on the World" sticker on the red patterned paper.

The papers used were from Creative Imagination, Faith Paper Pack made by Hobby Lobby, Bazzill green dot cardstock. To finish, I added some Pointsettia gems. This was a good easy and basic card.

I almost forgot.....To add dimension to the Spellbinder die cut I added foam sheets under it. I always find less costly things to use. I could spend a fortune on dimensional adhesives so I use foam sheets. It works because I have a solid piece for the dimension not just 4 squares which makes the rest of the die cut sag. Even the Dollar Tree stores have them for a $1.00.

This is my Noel Bells Christmas Card. I cut out all the papers using my Cricut. I used Fab Finds and Plantin Schoolbook cartridges. I created the entire sketch on my Design Studio first then cut it all out. The scalloped piece is the combination of both cartridges.

Supplies

The papers I used were Asparagus Coredinations cardstock, which I embossed with Damask embossing folder...I used dark green and red cardstock. The 3 embellishments are from Christmas Crafts. To finish I added a gold bow. I added glossy accents to it first so the glitter won't get all over the place.

I would have liked to have used a patterned paper instead of the plain dark green cardstock but oh well it's fine.

#56 Winter Wishes Cricut Christmas Card

This is "Winter Wishes" Christmas card. I made this card with my Cricut expression.The papers came from Hobby Lobby made by them. All except the light green with white streeks. I found that on clearance.....LOVE the clearance sales.

I cut all papers out with my Cricut. I used Fab Finds and Plantin Schoolbook. Plantin gives the scalloped rectangle die cut.

I added gold snowflakes to the tan paper. I added rub-on stickers, which is the "twenty five". The winter wishes is a dimensional and multi-layered sticker from a card kit. I used the stickers in that

pack.

You can download the Cricut CUT file HERE. You will need the Design Studio to use it or ANY Cricut machine that saves files AS .cut files. I say that because I've been asked if it can be used with the Gypsy. I don't know the extensions used for a Gypsy.

Snowman with Snowflakes Christmas Card

SC355 sketch

This is my last card of the season, but I havn't posted them all yet. I used SC355, which is a sketch from splitcoaststampers.com, to make this card. The supplies I used were, for the paper, Recollections "Old Fashioned Christmas " paper pack, Coredinations cardstock "Burndt Sugar". I used my Cricut along with the Fabulous Finds cartridge and Plantin Schoolbook. Plantin was used for the scalloped border which I welded with the F.F. rectangle in the Design Studio. F.F. cut out everything else. You can use any cart that has a rectangle or square.

I used K and Co. layered snowflakes which are so cute. I added Faded Jeans Distress ink to them so you can actually see the design on them. There are a bunch of them in a box.

I used sheet music that I found online at http://holidaysheetmusic.net

I also added some clear, somewhat glittery, snowflake sticker on the background of the card. They can be found at Michaels only made by Recollections. I always cut them in half. Why waste them by letting them be covered so I cut them in half and put it somewhere else on the card.

The center embellishment can only be found at Hobby Lobby. They only had 1 on the shelf or I would have bought more. There are 4 pieces to the set.

I like using non-traditional items as embellishment for my Christmas cards. I like trying new things and it's nice to have options. It's also helpful when you're finding a way to trim some costs on embellishments. Here are some resources I wanted to share.

Fonts - Download HERE

Last month I went on the net searching for dingbat fonts and found some Christmas ones. If you're not familiar with them it's a font that doesn't contain letters/numbers they contain images. When you press a letter you will get an image instead. So, the link above will give you 15 fonts. There 1 font that only has images of Bells and another have only Christmas Trees. Some have great images. I used one making this card. I also included a real font that's "Christmas-y". I did the Ho Ho Ho you see on the card. It's called Bodie

If you do a search for "sheet music" you will get music for a symphony where there are there's a sheet music for every musical instrument. The song music I used below is "God Rest ye Merry Gentlemen".

This is my 71st Christmas card. It's been a busy month. I found these felt reindeers at Hobby Lobby and I needed a way to add them to the page. I never did any masking before because it confused me but this way pretty easy. I didn't want to just add the deer to cardstock I cut out with the Spellbinder die cut. So I made a little scene.

I cut out all the papers using my Cricut. I used the Fabulous Finds cartridge. Usually I use Plantin Schoolbook for the scalloped rectangle but I used my Fiskars border punch instead. In the Cricut CUT file I made, the link is above, if you don't own plantin then it will cut out as a rectangle.

To finish the card off, I added 2 foliage Spellbinder die cuts. I used a patterned paper to give it that natural look.

This is card #72 and 3rd of the reindeer cards. I cut out all the papers using the Fabulous Finds Cartridge. In the Cricut CUT file I made, the link is above, if you don't own plantin then it will cut out as a rectangle. The papers I used are all from Hobby Lobby. From the outside in.....Green Floral Ornate, Faith paper pack but also in single sheet form, and Cream Sheet Music. I added several gold rub-ons along with a couple pearl beads. The ivy came from Walmart. Their "confetti" that's what the package says. They have great snowfakes also. You can see them on my other Deer card below. They are with the holiday paper plates, cups etc...

Next came the stamping. I took my Penny Black "Splender" tree stamp and stamped using my Vintage Photo for the tree trunk and Peeled Paint Distress Ink for the leaves. I attached the deer using a hot glue gun. That's the only way that thick felt would stay on.

This is my "Let it Snow" Christmas Card. The 3rd in using the felt Deer and the 73rd card this season. The papers are Core'dinations Burndt Sugar, Faith paper pack and Cream Sheet Music by The Paper Studio. Lastly, the blue paper is from Yellow Little Bicycle. I cut them all out using my Fabulous Finds Cricut Cartridge. In the CUT file above, I made the scalloped border with Plantin schoolbook. If you don't own it then it will cut as a regular rectangle.

To the right is a mask that I needed to make before adding the reindeer. I cut out an extra Deckled Edge Spellbinder die cut. Then I took a 2 inch circle punch and cut out an area where I could put a mound of grass using Distress Ink. I had to flip the punch over so I could get it just rite. I had to keep the metal die cut plate in place while doing all the coloring and stamping. So to do the grass I put the top part of the mask in place so I could ink up for the grass. Then I took the half circle-mask and placed it right over the area I just did and colored it with Stormy Sky Distress Ink. I added a sun stamp to using Spiced Marmalade.

Next came the stamping. I took my Penny Black "Splender" tree stamp and stamped using my Vintage Photo for the tree trunk and Peeled Paint Distress Ink for the leaves. I attached the deer using a hot glue gun. That's the only way that thick felt would stay on.

The scalloped border on the blue paper came from Fiskars Scalloped Border punch. I added the sentiment "Let it Snow" using Tis the Season Fiskars clear stamps. The last embellishments were Anna Griffin's layered gold snowflakes.

God Rest ye Merry Gentleman Christmas Card

This is my 74th Christmas card and 4th using the felted reindeer. This was the first time I used sheet music, that I found online, in one of my cards. I just did an online search for "Free Christmas Hymns". 1 good place to go is Holidaysheetmusic.net. I just resize it to the size I need for the card.

I used my Cricut with the Fabulous Finds to cut out the papers I used. I usually use Plantin for the scalloped edging but I used a Fiskars scalloped border punch instead. If you use the CUT file above and you don't own Plantin then it will cut as a regular rectangle. I colored the sheets music with Old Paper Distress Ink. The papers I used were Core'dinations Antiqua cardstock from their Vintage Collection. The other papers were from Recollection's Old Fashioned Christmas paper pack. I used white cardstock for the sheet music.

The 2 snowflakes came from Walmart. For 97 cents you get 3 dozen snowflakes that are so cute! Their Confetti snowflakes and they were by the christmas paper plates and cups not by the craft section. They also have other great things to decorate your cards with.

This is my "Winter Wonderland" Cricut Christmas Card

Sketch SC355

I used my Cricut, along with Fabulous Finds and Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, to make this card. I took a sketch (SC355) from Split Coast Stampers and make a CUT file for my Cricut and cut everything out.

I added clear glittered snowflakes to the blue patterned paper that makes up the background of the card.

After attaching all the elements of the sketch I added a dimensional

"Winter" "Wonderland" to the card. Doesn't get much easier than that.

Home for the Holidays Christmas Card #53

I want to mention a few things then i'll get to the card. I used SC355 which is a sketch from splitcoaststampers.com. I also made a Cricut CUT file for this card/sketch. You would need Fabulous Finds and if you want the scalloped border you would need Plantin Schoolbook. I put 2 options for the scalloped border if you just use fab finds then a rectangle will be cut without the scalloped border.

I started with a white A2 size card that I covered with paper from Creative Imaginations. I used my Cricut to cut out the papers. Other papers I used are Hobby Lobby's paper "Cosmo Foliage", dark green cardstock.

Supplies Used

The stickers I used are from Hobby Lobby's "The Paper Studio". Like the Supplies photo shows I put 3 stickers side by side. I also added a thin wide sticker (a border sticker) to the Scalloped Rectangle which was made by Anna Griffin,Christmas Borders.

I assembled all the pieces in place. It turned out well.

Stockings Were Hung Christmas Card #52

I started with a white A2 size card ( 5.5 by 4 inches) that I covered with Cosmo Crickets (light green patterned paper). I used SC355 (sketch from splitcoaststampers.com). The other papers used are from Coredinations Cardstock papers and Old Fashioned Christmas paper pack by Recollections.

I embossed the green cardstock with Cuttlebug Embossing Folder which you can see to the right. What you see are the first two pieces I add. Next is when you add the scalloped rectangle and the stickers.

The top of the card has 2 cardstock stickers by Hobby Lobby.Seen to the left. I matted each on dark green cardstock. I cut all the papers out using my Cricut, Fab Finds, Plantin cartridges. I also added another sticker across the scalloped red cardstock.

The Fabulous Finds cartridge but out everything but the scalloped border, which I used Plantin Schoolbook for.

I made a Cricut CUT file from the sketch and it's available for download by clicking on the link under the photo of my card.

Merry Christmas with Snowflakes (#66)

This is my 66th Christmas card this season. They're not all on here yet. Slowly but surely. Like other cards i've posted I again used SC355 which is a card sketch from Split Coast Stampers. The "SC" stands for Sketch Challenge. This is the link to their Card Sketch Gallery. I made a Cricut CUT file which is why there is a link for it under the photograph. It includes 2 options for #3, which you can see on the sketch below. One is the rectangle you see there but I made another option for a scalloped rectangle like you see in my card. Everything uses the Fabulous Finds cartridge but you will need Plantin Schoolbook for the scalloped borders.

All the papers I used were from Recollection's Old Fashioned Christmas" paper pack except for the red paper which is from Basic Grey. I like mixing different colors. You don't have to use Christmas colors only. That little touch of blue doesn't hurt.

Every embellishment including the glittered snowflakes came from Hobby Lobby's line "Christmas Crafts".

SC355

I wanted to let you in on a couple things on these cards. First, I used a sketch from Splitcoaststampers.com. I used SC355 which you can see on your right. On my cards I changed #3 into a scalloped rectangle instead of a plain one. I ALSO have a Cricut CUT file for it. The link is under the photograph of my card above. In the CUT file there are 2 options for #3. If you use the scalloped rectangle you will need Plantin Schoolbook. If you don't have that cartridge then all you will need is Fabulous Finds.

I used a "coloring page" for the image of the bells on the Spellbinder Lacey Square die cut. I've gathered a small collection of them in case I need them for making Christmas cards. Ok, back to the card....

The papers I used, except for the "Cream Music Notes" (made by The Paper Studio) was from Recollections "Old Fashioned Christmas". I also used Ruby Coredinations Cardstock. After attaching all the papers I printed the coloring page to fit Spellbinder's Lacey Square. I printed it out, cut it and colored it with Copic Markers. I stenciled with Old Paper Distress Ink. To finish, I added a bow. I wanted to mention really quick that the HoHoHo under the bells were done using a font called BODIE MF.

The only difference with this card is the papers I used. Still using Sketch SC355. What I've done is take a bunch of scrapbook papers, cardstock and patterned, and cut it out using the Cricut CUT file i've made. I added a couple layered Pointsetta's by K and Co. Again, I added the text under the bells using BODIE MF font.
