Another 3rd party rape set up through craigslist

In a case that bears a striking resemblance to the one that happened near me in Kannapolis, NC two men have been arrested for the rape of woman that was set up through craigslist.

27-year-old Jebidiah James Stipe of Twentynine Palms, California has been arrested for allegedly setting up the rape of a woman in Natrona County, Wyoming through craigslist. 26-year-old Ty Oliver McDowell of Casper has been arrested for the rape itself. The rape is said to have taken place on December 11th.

What is unclear at this time is Stipe's relationship to the victim and what the ad that solicited the rape said.

Of course the EFF is quick to defend craigslist...

Matt Zimmerman, senior staff attorney at Electronic Frontier Foundation in California, said Craigslist is protected from liability for posting ads requesting illegal activity under the 1996 Federal Communications Act.

"The law is pretty clearly on the side of Craigslist and (other similar sites)," Zimmerman said.

"To give Craigslist a little credit, they negotiated an agreement with attorneys general across the country where they basically said, 'We're not obligated to do this, but we'll do a number of things to alleviate your concerns,'" he said.

"That's above and beyond what they're required to do by law," Zimmerman said.

You would think that being such an allegedly socially conscious organization that craigslist would do more than just the bare minimum of what the law requires.

Much like the ACLU the EFF is choosing the wrong battles and giving itself a credibility problem.

Considering that McDowell is also accused of violating the victim with a foreign object I don't see how the EFF and craigslist can say that they're doing enough.

APPLE VALLEY -- Authorities are searching for two suspects accused of physically, mentally and sexually torturing a 5 year old boy over a five month period.

$1 million arrest warrants have been issued for Martin Roland Morales (aka "Bullet"), 32, and Crystal Pauline Rodriguez, 28, who disappeared after they were contacted by authorities investigating reports of child abuse.

The boy's mother and a 16 year old roommate were arrested in August after an anonymous tip was called in to the county's child abuse hotline.

Sheriff's deputies say the boy was burned with heated spoons and a glue gun, as well as deprived of food and water. The child was also sexually molested by Morales and other Males at an Apple Valley residence where Morales and Rodriguez were living, investigators say. He has been placed in foster care.

Morales is an Eastlake Gang member, deputies said, and gave his brother's name during the initial investigation to avoid arrest.

He told investigators he would "shoot it out" with law enforcement if they tried to arrest him, and is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding the suspects was asked to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department at (909) 709-7103 or (951) 318-3786.

So not only did 4 people in the house allow this to go on but one of the four was the kid's own mother and other men were allowed to come in and molest the kid as well. It amazes me sometimes how scumbags find each other and form their own little scummy communities. Scummunities if you will.

One point for each month of torture the boy had to endure (5), 4 more points for each suspect involved, 2 more points for the fact that two of the scumbags are on the lam, another point for the fact that Morales is a scumbag gang banger, and one last point for the fact that the boy's own mother allowed this to happen. 52-year-old Thomas Gibbs of England was sentenced to a mere 16 months for soliciting an 11-year-old girl on Facebook.

Her parents noticed that their daughter was chatting with someone on Facebook who said he wanted to kiss her.

The parents took over the chat and Facebook profile and lured out Gibbs into the open.

Along with the short sentence Gibbs will have to be on the British sex offender registry for only 5 years.

I'm sure that such a "harsh" sentence will keep him from reoffending.

While I'm glad the parents were paying enough attention to catch this scumbag an 11-year-old has no business being on Facebook.

40-year-old Darren Medland of Devon, England was convicted of grooming a 15-year-old girl for sex over Facebook. He was charged with attempting to meet a girl under 16 to commit an offence under the Sexual Offences Act.

However prior to his arrest he was cautioned by police for having sex with a 15-year-old girl on several occasions.

Wis. teen reaches plea deal in Facebook sex scam:

19-year-old Anthony Stancl is the teen from Wisconsin who posed as a woman on Facebook in order to get his male classmates at New Berlin Eisenhower High School in Wisconsin to send him nude pics. Stancl would then blackmail the boys in to performing sex acts or as most normal humans call it, rape.

He was looking at 300 years behind bars but he reached a plea which not only spared the victims from testifying but may put Stancl behind bars for 50 years.

No date has been set for sentencing yet.

Normally I would post a story like this to the Tumblr blog but I just couldn't resist that mugshot.

Anyway, that's 26-year-old Brian Hinrichs of Pasco County, Florida. He sent his ex-girlfriend a message on MySpace that said "I still love you" and he got arrested for that. No this wasn't some kind of police state draconian violation of freedom of speech. He had a no contact order against him filed by his ex. But the best part is the explanation he gave...

At first, Hinrichs, 26, told deputies his mother sent the message, the report said. Then he blamed his current girlfriend and "a guy named Jacob," before acknowledging he sent the message, deputies said.

No word if he also blamed the one armed man.

He bonded out of the Land O' Lakes, Florida jail which I still believe is made out of butter.

I don't know how I missed this story when the arrest happened because the dude's name is DJ Skinny. How could I have missed that?

Anyway, DJ Skinny, aka 32-year-old Heath Edward Hill, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for soliciting sex and nude pics from underage girls.

Hill was a radio DJ in Shreveport, La., not one of those other DJs, and used his position to bribe underage girls on MySpace for nude pics by promising them concert tickets from the radio station. However two girls turned control of their MySpaces over to the Northwest Louisiana Crimes Against Children Task Force. D'oh.

With a name like DJ Skinny he's going to be real popular with his new bunkmates.

I originally posted about Megan Hayes here. Along with her boyfriend, Brandon Quincy Thompson, the pair from Tea, South Dakota have been federally charged with pimping out underage girls on the Village Voice Media owned classified site Backpage. The pair are looking at life sentences for their alleged acts.

So it kind of puzzles me why Hayes was released into the custody of her father in Davenport, Iowa.

Hayes has no prior criminal history, and her father, brother and a neighbor from Tea testified that Hayes was a shy, reliable person who prefers staying home with pets to leaving the house.

I'm sorry but shy and reliable people don't participate in child prostitution rings. I wouldn't be surprised if she bolted while out on release.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Missouri teenager is accused of stabbing a man with an ice pick in a dispute over a parking spot.

Eighteen-year-old Caitlen Watkins of Springfield was charged Monday in Greene County with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.

According to court documents, Watkins and a passenger in her car confronted another driver Sunday in the parking lot of a shopping center after he took a parking place Watkins wanted.

Witnesses told police a fight broke out and the other driver was stabbed half a dozen times with a wooden-handled, 5-inch ice pick. Police say the other driver suffered a punctured kidney.

Who still uses ice picks for legitimate reasons? I mean we have bags of ice that we can buy at the store now. Seriously though I still can't believe that as a society we're still at a point where people get shived over a parking spot.

6 points for the amount of times the victim was stabbed, 5 points for the inches of the ice pick, one more point for the victim being stabbed in the kidney, one more point for this being over something as trifle as a parking spot, what you can't walk the extra feet, and one last point for actually being in possession of an ice pick. I'm pretty sure she wasn't using it for ice sculptures. That's 14.

26-year-old Haiyang Zhu is the former Virginia Tech student from China who stabbed and decapitated fellow Chinese student Yang Xin at a cafe on Virginia Tech campus.

Now think about that for a second. He took a kitchen knife and basically sawed her head off in front of witnesses. Can you imagine how long that must have taken. Not only that but the sick son of a bitch had her head in his hands when police arrived.

Now Zhu has pleaded guilty to Ms. Yang's brutal murder and the details about just how sick he was have finally been revealed.

We knew that he killed her because he was attracted to her and he rejected her but his level of psychopathy and arrogance was off the charts.

At the time of her murder Zhu was armed with the butcher knife he used to kill her, two more knives and a claw hammer. He called her about 20 times after buying the weapons. Ms. Yang supposedly rejected Zhu's advances because she had a boyfriend that she planned to marry. In letters he wrote in custody Zhu said he had to kill her because "He loved her too much" and "Yang's boyfriend could not compare to him in education and background, and that she should have made the sensible decision to marry him instead."

Even when he wntered his plea he just seemed like he was dripping with arrogance to me. Even with the simple sentence of "Your honor, I plead guilty."

His guilty plea spares him from the death penalty however he is looking at life without parole when he is sentenced in April.

Feds bust major prostitution ring in Alaska

The FBI, the IRS and the Anchorage, Alaska police department have busted a major prostitution and trafficking ring that has operated on craigslist since 2006.

Authorities have arrested Sabil Mumin Mujahid, Sidney Lamar Greene, and Rand Hooks while Keyana "Koko" Marshall (pictured) remains at large.

The quartet are accused of prostituting at least 50 women with at least 3 underage girls. They are also accused of identity theft and tax fraud because they would get the personal information of their victims and use it to file tax returns and collect the money. Sounds like a lot of victims in a victimless crime.

Not to mention the fact that this went on craigslist for 3 years with it never being flagged. Go figure.

Airman charged with MyYearbook solicitation

21-year-old Aaron Balmor Chavez is an based at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. He's been charged with one count of Internet sexual exploitation of a child and one count of attempted sexual exploitation of a child. He allegedly asked a 12-year-old girl from Jefferson County, Colorado over MyYearbook for nude pictures of her. He supposedly said he was 15 on his MyYearbook profile then told the girl he was 19. Luckily the girl did the right thing and told her teacher who in turn notified authorities.

Will someone who actually served in the military please leave a comment about how he's a disgrace to his uniform.

Illegal caught with 13-year-old girl

Anyway, 20-year-old Wilfredo Cuellar-Mejia from El Salvador got caught in the house of a 13-year-old Nashua girl that he allegedly met in MySpace. The parents of the girl heard someone in the house and thought they were being robbed and called police.

Cuellar-Mejia, has been charged with 26 counts of felonious sexual assault which he could get 7 years for each count. He won't though. And if he goes to jail since he's here illegally he'll be deported once he gets out.

He already has his defenders as someone posted in the comments of the article that the girl said she was 18. Again, maybe he should have checked her ID.

And once again parents, please check up on your kids internet habits or you might end up with an illegal alien in your house in the middle of the night playing grabass with your daughter.

It seems that Ruby Lee Medina, 31, and Javier Gonzalez, 37, of Mission, Texas decided to wait until she was seven months pregnant before getting an abortion. However instead of getting a medical abortion, which in my opinion would have been bad enough, they decided to have a homemade abortion. Gone are the days of wire hangers and 'falling' down the stairs. Now all you have to do is take an ulcer medication in order to induce a miscarriage.

No matter which side of the abortion debate you find yourself on I'm sure you'll find the next act reprehensible. They tried flushing the body down the toilet but since it wouldn't fit and she was bleeding profusely. With paramedics and police on the way they took the baby's body and wrapped it in a gift box and put it under the tree. Did I mention this all took place in a trailer?

The pair has been charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. Personally I think they should be charged with murder too but that's just me.

Michael Jacques' Effort to Avoid the Death Penalty:

Here's another story that happened a while ago but just now am I getting the chance to post it.

Anyway if you've been reading MCS for a while you're familiar with one Michael Jacques from Vermont. To briefly recap he is accused in the kidnap, rape and murder of his niece 12-year-old Brooke Bennett. The MySpace angle is that Jacques allegedly altered Brooke's MySpace to make it look like she ran away.

Jacques has been charged by the feds for Brooke's kidnapping and death and culd be put to death. Brooke was not taken out of Vermont but since Jacques used the internet to allegedly commit and cover up the crime that it falls into federal jurisdiction. However Jacques has a pair of well renowned anti-death penalty defense lawyers who are arguing that since Brooke was not physically taken across state lines that Jacques should not be charged by the feds but charged by Vermont which dies not have a death penalty.

I understand that people can be opposed to the death penalty. I just don't understand why people would want a piece of human filth like Jacques spared from it.
