Many levelers know the pain once they breach the old level cap. They hit a wall due to a very strict experience formula. I've been looking over the formula and have finally settled on a major formula nerf that breaks it down quite a bit closer to where it was. It will still go up as you level exponentially, but it will be no where near it was. Have fun and start leveling!

Inn

With the latest Mega Event coming soon we did add a 6 day Inn stay option with a 5 day penalty. The cost has gone up quite a bit for this extended option.

Bug Fixes

A few bug fixes were made with the way players show online.

Vacation Mode

Vacation mode has been upgraded to allow a player a full year if going to be away for an extended period of time. Remember if a players logs back in this resets. The game will now email you at the provided email address once vacation mode is activated to verify the account status and remind you about not logging in until you're ready to rejoin the action.

Don't forget the Foster Care Package for National Foster Care Month are still underway until the end of May! It's a great deal for some bonus energy....especially with the event coming soon. 25% will go to a charity dealing with kids in the foster system.

You asked for it and it's here. In celebration of it being National Foster Care Month and my wife and I's 10 year anniversary. The Mega Battle Event has arrived. For 5 (that's right 5) straight days there will be Double Battle Karma and Respect earned.........and that's not all! This will all take place during a 5 day long Blood Bath! This event will start on May 23rd and go until May 27th at 11:59pm!

National Foster Care Month

In celebration of National Foster Care Month...we will be offering for the first time some mega energy. For 20 Crimson Coins you will receive VIP Days, AP, Credits, and your complete Max Energy restored to your Blood Bank. (anyone under 2,000 energy will just get 2,000 energy). Everyone will also receive a nice Ambassadors logo next to their name for the duration of the month in the online list. I will test adding this to chat as well. 25% of all proceeds from these packages will be donated to Ambassadors for Children! A local organization that offers many programs to assist foster children and their foster parents.

Couple Bug Fixes or Updates (depends how you look at it)

1. Changed the mail system to a 30 day deletion time for unread mail. The 5 days time frame still remains for read mail with no replies.

2. Changed the Vial of Energy to deposit directly into your Blood Bank instead of your energy bar. This will save some clicking.

The past several months have been nuts, but hopefully I'll be seeing a little more free time ahead!

Lucky Packs

Right now a special St. Patrick's themed "Booster Package" is available. It offers quite a bit more than a usual booster pack would at less cost. You also will receive a clover icon for the Online list. The best part is we'll be donating 25% of the proceeds from the Lucky Packs to Ambassadors for Children to assist with their upcoming expansion. They provide programs  and assistance for children in the foster system.

Hunger Links

Two hunger links have now been added to the action bar. A direct link to the diner is now shown as Eat on the action bar under Hunger. As well the  Hunger Skill can be used and will instantly be shown in the message area without leaving the page. Note: If you don't have this skill yet the link will not show.

We are currently working through some bugs. Stay tuned for more update and quests very soon! We're reading the forums and take every suggestion seriously.

As most have noticed the marketplace went through some changes and I'm pretty happy with the results. After the beta release, many suggestions were made and most were implemented. This new layout allows more than one type of finance,diamond, or item to be listed. This simplifies the whole process including viewing and adding things. As well a 5% fee has been added for all sold listings. It will be deducted before the credits are distributed to the seller once bought. You can filter by item type using the form field in the upper right corner. You can still buy some of all of an item. The total is shown if you hover the mouse over the (All) link. This field will also show the seller what their net profit will be after the 5% fee.

The Item Market is still under construction, but we plan to expand this to allow not only weapon and armor items, but also items you can carry like scrolls, and more. I'd be curious to hear suggestions on what you'd like to see. You can either comment here or the forum thread that's created from this post in-game.

Many noticed the Lucent Diamond as an option in the Diamond market. This new diamond will be created using Perfect diamonds and will be coming soon.

New Events

We've added two new events on the Crimson Moon events page. Double Battle Karma and Clan Respect are now 2 events that can occur during a month and provide you the chance to earn double karma or respect for your clan.

On the topic of events I'm going to create a process for setting these up to avoid confusion. At the first of every month I'll go through and schedule out the events for that month. A log update will be placed that notifies everyone new events have been posted. It may be all events or some events may be skipped. Blood Bath will probably always occur monthly.

Note that the Double Myth Credits and Experience are going on right now and Blood Bath is scheduled to occur soon. The new events are scheduled to occur in March.

Valentines Packages

The Valentines Packages are now available for anyone to purchase for other players. The package offers some nice in-game bonuses such as Vip Days, Finances, and AP! New this year, anyone who receives a package will have a icon next to their name until the 15th. You can view all about the Coin Special and New Package in the Game Store!

Spawn Killing Fix

We fixed a bug where is 2 players had spawn killing enabled, it would still not let them fight more than 3 times per hour. This is now fixed.

Feedback

I just wanted to say that I appreciate all the feedback hitting the forums. While I don't always reply to it all, I make it a priority to read it. And I do listen when it fits into the scope of the game. In fact there is some feedback on the forum now that have led me to start working on some new features, which also led to upgrades to other areas of the game. I'll provide more info as these features are completed.

As most will notice today, the mail system has be re-arranged to flow a lot nicer (especially for mobile devices). The new design will allow new posts to be placed at the top and the reply box is expanded and also at the top. You must click the POST REPLY button to show the reply box. Last but not least, we've implemented a fix to to auto deletion. Now when you reply to a mail topic the 5 day timer is reset, so no more lost conversations!

Graveyard

As an additional perk for VIP players, the graveyard now allows 30,000 energy to be used per day instead of the usual 15,000 for VIP members only.

Bug Fixes

I've been pouring over the bug area of the forum trying to get some bugs fixed. I'll continue to do so as this is my primary objective currently. As bugs are fixed they'll hit the Facebook and Twitter feed and updates will be summarized. Check those social platforms if you want detailed info. The latest round include fixes to the Inn Icons showing on the action bar and the clan chat showing when players are chatting. We are working on a fix to the armory and clan notifications. More to come!

We are doing an advertising push, so hopefully you'll see some new faces around CM.

Vote Sites

We've taken some time to sift through some of the vote sites. Some that didn't seem to be worth having or have broken pages have been removed. As well, we've found some new vote sites to take their place. If you see any issues with vote site let us know. Likewise, if you come across any new sites on the web (that you don't see CM on), let us know!

Upcoming Events

A Blood Bath is coming soon. Check the Events page in-game for more details.

It's been asked and now VIP players can customize their 227x302 profile picture rather than having the default image. Again this feature is only available to VIP players. For more information on becoming a VIP, you can visit the Game/Upgrade Store in-game.

Both the new profile picture and battle avatar sections in Account Options have been simplified. Now you can start the Imageshack upload process to get your direct link to host on CM with right from that area. It opens in a new window. Grab the link, close that tab or window and input the link in the CM options and your all set. You have to use the direct link and not any of the other forum links. To get the direct link, you must register a free account with Imageshack or you can pull it from the from the HTML code section. Below is an example

Fast Healing Touch

The Healing Touch Plasma Ability can now be accessed by in the action bar and the result will show in the fast action area where the heal and clan heal go now. This is just another means of fast healing.

Blood Bath

As of this post, the Blood Bath has officially begun. It will last until 12am on 1/3/2011 (basically the night of the 2nd). It will be interesting to see how the new battle script plays out during the tournament.

Daily Quests

Tonight we added the first of many new Daily Quests. These quests will reset every night at 12am and are repeatable every day. The first quest is called Battle King Rank 1 and requests that you go out and defeat 50 players and then turn it in. We realize that some level ranges don't have every 3+ targets, so we'll be added various other quests that would appeal to those as well. We'll even be added some that pertain to the Dark Forest, so only level 25+ will be able to complete it. Stay tuned for more quests.

The next Blood Bath has been scheduled and will be this weekend starting on Saturday and going through Monday January 2nd.

Myth Double Bonus

Starting at 12am everyone will earn double credits and experience from Mythical Creatures. Now is a great time to earn some cash and move ahead in levels. This will run through Friday and come to a close just as the Blood Bath begins.

Crimson Moon Events Page

We've removed the Blood Bath HQ information page and changed it into an Events Page. It can now be found under the Residential area in Melania. I'll probably show when there are upcoming events on the welcome page as well. This new page will show all events rather than just Blood Bath events. Notification will usually be made, but you might check this page every so often.

Battling

We've reinstated the stalemate system into the battle script but have left the large increase in allowed turns. This should still allow more battles to play out and result in less stalemates. I will look at making some further changes down the line the help decide battles in one attack versus requiring several. We will also continue to look at ways to add more features to battling through more skills, bonuses, and a new side to the game that will come into play for battling I'm working on.

Lastly, remember to vote for us at BBGSite and all sites and the Christmas Special and events will be ended after this weekend.

New Christmas Quest

Santa Claws needs to feed his wolves, so he is asking everyone to hunt down some reindeer in the various outer areas. You can find them in all 3 outer areas of the game. And no....you didn't misread! There are 3 areas (see below)!

Christmas Presents

You are now able to open your Christmas presents. Many are posting what they go on the in-game forums, so join in the fun.

Dark Forest

The Dark Forest is now open and can be accessed via the Travel Agency. You must be at least level 25 to access this area, so this is geared more towards the leveler group. You'll find stronger creatures and MUCH more opportunities to earn some funds. There is also a really power creature that occasional roams around the forest. More will be added to this area very soon including some quests.

Battling

We are doing some tweaks on the battle script. The old way (meaning a couple days ago) was that after 300 turns it would stalemate and apply the damage to each player. The new way it'll stop after 1000 turns and will compare damage done. We are working to fine tune to to include many stats comparison at the end of the battle and will tweak where needed.
