According to iTunes main page, iTunes 10.3 is out for Windows and Mac OSX which brings the support for recently announced cloud connectivity at WWDC. However, the download page still redirects to iTunes 10.2.2 in our case. Hope, this is not the case for you.

Apple has finally unveiled iOS 5 at WWDC with a lot of new features and some accompanying products like iCloud and OTA update. iOS 5 will be available for developers in dev center to utilize new APIs and make apps compatible. As there is no drastic change which will require more computing power, all devices compatible with latest iOS update are compatible with iOS 5.

Apple’s WWDC agenda is official and Steve Jobs will take the stage to announce next generation of software. The keynote will address iOS 5 and Mac OSX Lion. Apple has gone official first time about its cloud offering and which is named “iCloud”.

Apple® CEO Steve Jobs and a team of Apple executives will kick off the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. At the keynote, Apple will unveil its next generation software – Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS® X; iOS 5, the next version of Apple’s advanced mobile operating system which powers the iPad®, iPhone® and iPod touch®; and iCloud®, Apple’s upcoming cloud services offering.

So, Steve Jobs is healthy enough to take the stage and present Apple’s new offerings. There is still now word about next generation iPhone. It seems we will have to wait bit longer for iPhone this time.

It seems that Apple team has not enough team to fix @i0n1c’s untethered exploit which was first used to jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 then iOS 4.3.2. Recent iOS 4.3.3 update which fixes location database bug is still vulnerable to the exploit. redsn0w 0.9.6rc15 has been released to support untethered jailbreak for devices running iOS 4.3.3.

Here is what iPhone Dev Team says about recent release

… three in a row!  Apple released iOS 4.3.3 on Wednesday, and once again the untethered jailbreak exploit that@i0n1c created for 4.3.1 still works.  That makes it an unprecedented three firmwares where the same userland exploit works.  We’re not exactly sure why Apple hasn’t fixed the hole yet, but we’re not complaining!

Today’s PwnageTool and redsn0w incorporate @i0n1c’s port to 4.3.3 (it’s ironic that such a long-lasting untether doesn’t even have an official name!).  It also of course uses geohot’s limera1n bootrom exploit to inject the jailbreak. The 4.3.3 untether works on all devices that actually support 4.3.3 except for the iPad2:

Some things to note:

1. ultrasn0w unlockers must stay away from redsn0w!  Use only a custom IPSW to update to 4.3.3, to avoid updating your baseband.

Download Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15.

Download iOS 4.3.3 for you respective device and then update iOS device using iTunes.

Execute Redsn0w and browse to the location where you have download iOS 4.3.3.

Install Cydia is checked by default. If it isn’t, make sure to check it.

Turn Off your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch and connect with your system. Proceed by clicking next.

Follow on-screen instructions by Redsn0w to get iOS device into DFU mode.

Once the installation is complete, iPhone or any other device will reboot automatically. it will now be jailbroken on iOS 4.3.3.

iOS 4.3.3 has been released for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. It fixes iOS tracking issue which has been covered a lot in media. iOS 4.2.8 has been released for CDMA iPhone 4.

Redsn0w 0.9.6RC14 has been released by iPhone Dev Team which brings untethered 4.3.2 Jailbreak for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Redsn0w 0.9.6RC14 utilizes the same exploit which was used by @i0n1c for untethered 4.3.1 jailbreak. Tethered 4.3.2 Jailbreak has been available since sometime for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Note: The users who rely on unlock, should not upgrade to iOS 4.3.2 as there is no unlock.

Before proceeding, make sure that you have

• iTunes 10.2.2
• iOS 4.3.2
• Redsn0w 0.9.6RC 14

1: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to stock iOS 4.3.2.

2: Launch Redsn0w 0.9.6RC14 and after clicking browse select iOS 4.3.2 for respective device.

3: Make sure that “Install Cydia” is checked and click “Next”.

4: Now, turn off your iOS device and after plugging in system click Next.

5: Follow on screen instructions to get iOS device in DFU mode.

6: Let Redsn0w perform its functions and you will have jailbroken 4.3.2 device.

After some break, Redns0w is able to jailbreak latest firmware while pointing to old firmware. Yes, Redsn0w 0.9.6 can jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad while you have to point it to iOS 4.3.1. Obviously, this is a tethered jailbreak which means that iOS device needs to be plugged in system and “Just Boot Tethered Now” option from Redsn0w have to be used to get the jailbreak at every restart.

Here is a step by step guide to jailbreak iPod Touch 4.3.2 iOS on iPod Touch 4G/3G.

Before Proceeding make sure that you have

• iTunes 10.2.1
• Redsn0w 0.9.6
• iOS 4.3.2 for iPod Touch 4G/3G
• iOS 4.3.1 for iPod Touch 4G/3G

1: Update your iPod Touch to iOS 4.3.2.

2: Execute Redsn0w and click Browse. Select iOS 4.3.1 for respective iPod Touch.

3: Make sure that “Install Cydia” option is checked.

4: Turn off iPod Touch and plug in your System then click “Next”.

6. Now, follow onscreen instructions by Redsn0w 0.9.6 to get iPod Touch in DFU mode.

• First, you need to Press “Power” button
• While holding “Power” button, press “Home” button. Keep these buttons pressed for 10 seconds.
• Release Power button while keep holding Home Button for another 15 seconds.

7. Let Redsn0w 0.9.6 do the and when the process is done your iPod Touch will reboot.

8. Cydia icon would appear on iPod Touch’s home screen and your iPod Touch  is jailbroken on iOS 4.3.1.

9: If Cydia icon appears to be White, reboot our iPod Touch using “Just Boot Tethered Now” option in Redsn0w.

That is all, you can use Redsn0w 0.9.6 to jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 on iPhone and iPad as well while selecting respective 4.3.1 firmware.

pple has released iOS 4.3.2 update for iPhone 4 GSM, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2/1, and iPod Touch while iOS 4.2.7 has been released for iPhone 4 CDMA. iOS 4.3.2 update was expected to drop this week. This update is promised to fix iPad 2 CDMA connectivity issues along with FaceTime issues. It has also patched the vulnerability used in untethered 4.3.1 jailbreak.

- Fixes an issue that prevented some international users from connecting to 3G networks on iPad Wi-Fi + 3G

BGR has been able to grab a copy of iOS 4.3.2 and is expected to arrive next week. They had earlier managed to grab a copy of iOS 4.3.1 and their insider had been quite right about iOS updates. This iOS update will fix some issues and bring some improvements .

As BGR states

One of our Apple sources has just let us know that Apple’s iOS 4.3.2, due within the next week or so, will fix the issues we’ve been hearing about with some Verizon iPad 2 models. Additionally, the new update is said to contain a fix for FaceTime in addition to security fixes for things like WebKit vulnerabilities and other minor changes

We so wish that they can fix WiFi issues that have been persistent since iOS 4.2.1. Make sure that you save SHSH Blobs in order to be on safe side as this update will likely fix the vulnerability used in untethered 4.3.1 jailbreak.

Chronic Dev Team may release iPad 2 Jailbreak anytime soon as they are in final stages. iPad 2 Jailbreak was expected from @comex but his exploit has been patched in iOS 4.3.1. Chronic Dev Team has been pretty silent on iPad 2 Jailbreak and hasn’t confirmed about SHAtter patch. It is very likely that they have found a work around to make SHAtter work on new devices otherwise it would be a solely userland jailbreak and will be fixed very soon.

We still don’t know whether they will wait for iOS 4.3.2 or release it using @i0n1c’s exploit. It does look that the upcoming Greenpois0n will support iPad 2 jailbreak on iOS 4.3.1. In other case, they would need a new vulnerability to support untethered iOS 4.3.2 jailbreak. The situation will be clear in upcoming days.
