"There are some from every group of people here in the United States, who believes the world owes them something and they also believe they shouldn't have to work hard. Everyone needs to work hard at some point and get an education to better themselves". I agree with this to a certain extent, however, I believe there are some who would like to work but when people, such as the ones that I have come across, are owners of companies, bosses, judges, lawmakers etc. have a feeling of superiority that goes beyond the position they hold, they intentionally try to make it extremely difficult for those they believe to be beneath them or not worthy.

I had a white female supervisor who just would not leave me alone when working at this company. She would have people call my phone saying things like "oh Cristina needs to be working at McDonalds" just as the person on the other end of the line was saying this, my very insecure and immature supervisor would walk by my desk to see how I responded. She was testing me to see how far she could go. She didn't think I was smart enough to figure her out. She could never look me in the eye and I loved to talk her face to face and watch her tremble and shake. She would arrange team meetings then talk about how her parents couldn't afford to take her to the dentist when she was a young girl. I would sit there like "can somebody tell me what does that have to do with anything that we do here at this company". She would get sick when I would come to work dressed nice and walk by my desk and say "I'm sick I just can't take this" again I would look at her like "you're telling me this because?" I almost forgot that day she got sick because I came to work looking like I was about business and not about to sweep of the porch to my trailer. She had another supervisor holding her back like she was gonna pounce on me for coming to work dress like that. "The only this I wish I wish a Ni**a would"...."Black people don't come to work looking better than us". See why shit so messed up in Florida the damn white women in the Capital sitting around worried about who looks better than them and instead of them stepping their game up. They're trying to bring us down to their level. Kiss my ass.

She, like the man at the real estate company would use other white women in the company that were afraid of her, to come up to me and say real mean things about the black men in the company, black men in the city and black men in the public eye. She, like the other men would hide behind people that I befriended would have them say bad things about people with high positions in the company, just to see if I would engage and agree with what they were saying.

One day I was sick and I said to her I am pregnant, I was lying of course. She told me "get an abortion, I will approve the time off". I looked at her in amazement and thought these people are from another dimension. Because she was so nosey, I literally wanted to bust her in her shit every time she'd walk to my desk trying to see what I was wearing, what I was doing, what music I was listening to. I never understood why she didn't see that look of disgust on my face, you that look like somebody in the room just let out a silent but deadly; clear the room type of fart. That's how I felt when I looked in her face but wasn't nobody trying to give me time off for that shit. She, like the other men, would stand by my desk sniffing me. Yes the crazy bitch would sniff me. Sometimes I'd sit there like I hope her ass got a good whiff of that blunt I smoked before coming here so I can deal with her psycho ass. Maybe she'd get a contact and sit her ass down somewhere.

She would try her best to keep drama stirred up between me and other black girls in the company by spreading lies. She was very very ignorant in my opinion. She was in the process of planning her wedding when I first started the company and would try to through it in my face constantly like I really cared. I would just sit there like why doesn't she get it, I don't care. Bitch do I need to hire a pilot and have him write this shit in the sky.

The picture below shows the girl that started at this company a week after me. In this picture she is wearing a sweater like mine, she went out and brought a black car like the one I was driving, she even went out and got contact lenses to make her eyes lighter. She bought a house from the corrupt real estate company. Before doing so she went to live with a girl who I was friend with, her job was to break that friendship up. OMG after I stop working for the company she would come to my house daily thinking I was depressed I use to play the role so damn good, cause I knew she was running back telling her white Bosses. She would even come to my house and talk bad about them, again expecting that I would engage in conversation with her. Same ole game blah blah blah!! She even use to tell me she use to throw up to try to lose weight. She wanted to know what my secret on staying so slim was so she could tell the white lady "Massa". My secret is this put down the fucking twinkies bitch!!!

Now back to Susan, she would pretend that we'd have such a heavy work load and ask people to come for over time on Saturdays while she sat at home monitoring our actions on our computers, and trying to control what we did on the weekends. One Saturday I was the only one there my son was across the street swimming so I figure hey lifeguards are here so I'll go work. Guess who comes in with a knee brace on, yup Susan then the bitch gone talk about "wanna see me belly dance" That was the funniest shit I felt like Jim Carrey in Liar Liar. You know how his secretary kept doing shit to try to impress him, the hairdo and the outfit. I also need to add this man they'd have bagel Wednesdays and because Susan wanted me to get fat because I was distracting the men in the company, even the gay ones (OKAAYYY); she would bring in cupcakes and shit thinking I was gonna be all cute and not eat em. Check it, by the time them munchies hit my ass. That was all she wrote and I use to wash it down with a pepsi and belch so damn loud. Hoping they would say EW!!! Dudes in the company use to stick their over into my cubicle like "yo Cris... that was you?" I'd respond with "xcuse me" in a tiny voice followed by a giggle. So my point is this as long as there are people like that who hold positions and try to use those positions to intimidate there will be people who want to work but can't because of the ignorance.

If you follow me you will know that I am probably one of her biggest fans she's my sister! So last night I sat looking at the website and listening to the hypnotic melodies that instantly put you in a trance on Badu's homepage. So I clicked the bottom link to the Window Seat video, Badu is tricky like that, that's not the actual video that's like a teaser. I watched as she applied her make up and prepared for her flight and then there was like a presence that filled my room. I didn't want to see the actual "Window Seat" video because I had seen it. I know what was going to happen next and I said "Comeon @fatbellybella time to talk in person Sista! :) CAS" via Twitter! See before the video premiered I made a statement, via Twitter, to some people who set out to embarrass me by any means necessary. I'm writing to you on a great day for America.

This morning, I gathered with members of Congress, my administration, and hardworking volunteers from every part of the country to sign comprehensive health care reform into law. Thanks to the immeasurable efforts of so many, the dream of reform is now a reality.

The bill I just signed puts Americans in charge of our own health care by enacting three key changes:

It establishes the toughest patient protections in history.

It guarantees all Americans affordable health insurance options, extending coverage to 32 million who are currently uninsured.

And it reduces the cost of care -- cutting over 1 trillion dollars from the federal deficit over the next two decades.

To ensure a successful, stable transition, many of these changes will phase into full effect over the next several years.

But for millions of Americans, many of the benefits of reform will begin this year -- some even taking effect this afternoon. Here are just a few examples:

Children will be protected against discrimination on the basis of medical history.

All Americans will benefit from significant new investments to train primary care doctors, nurses, and public health professionals, and the creation of state-level consumer assistance programs to help all patients understand and defend our new rights.

As I've said many times, and as I know to be true, this astounding victory could not have been achieved without your tireless efforts.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you directly for the outstanding work you've been doing as part of Organizing for America's Final March for Reform. I can tell you that your voice is heard in Washington every day. I see how your efforts are moving us toward victory.

But I also know that with just days remaining, the final vote is shaping up to be extremely close. Everything we've worked for is on the line, and your voice is needed now more than ever before.

Raise your voice today: We must all speak out together to finish the job.

In these final, crucial days, much more will be asked of us. Our resolve will be tested.

During moments like this, I believe it's important to remember why we have worked so hard for so long. That's why I spoke to the country Monday at a gathering in Ohio and said it plainly: I'm here for Natoma.

Natoma Canfield is like most of us: She works hard, and tries to do what's right. Years ago, she had battled back from cancer, so she always maintained health insurance in case she ever really needed it again. But because of her medical history, the insurance company kept raising her deductible and her premiums.

Last year alone, Natoma paid over $10,000 in monthly premiums and co-pays, while her insurance company chipped in just $900. And then they hiked up her rates another 40%. She simply couldn't afford it -- she had to cancel her policy. That's when she wrote to me. I read her letter, and shared her story with insurance company CEOs as another reason why the system has to change.

That was two weeks ago. Then, just last week, the unthinkable happened: Natoma collapsed, and was rushed to a hospital. It's leukemia -- the cancer has returned. Now she's in the hospital, worried sick not just about her condition, but how she'll financially survive.

So why am I still in this fight? Simple. I'm here for Natoma.

I'm here because of the countless others who have been denied coverage because of pre-existing conditions. I'm here for the small business owners forced to chose between health care and hiring. I'm here for the folks who are forced to watch helplessly as their premiums skyrocket with no reason or recourse.

And I'm here for my mother. She died of cancer, and in the last six months of her life, I saw her on the phone in her hospital room arguing with insurance companies instead of focusing on getting well and spending time with her family.

As I was finishing my remarks Monday, a woman in the crowd called out, "we need courage." She's right.

The politicians in Washington need courage to face down the powerful interests who have held back progress for far too long. And all of us who share this cause need courage to speak up with persistence and clarity in these final days.

I've always found that courage comes from remembering that we fight for something and someone beyond ourselves. It comes from our faith. And it comes from our commitment to those we love.

So please take a moment to remember those who inspire you -- those who give you the strength to march on.

There's very little time left, and still much to do. But I believe to my core in the power of Americans to change history when we put our mind to it. And if you'll stay with us in these final days, I know we can do it again:

As you all my have read in all my other blogs I had a conspiracy against me. Jealous men who wanted to control me and by any means necessary tried to show me they could find someone to replace me. Replace me in my family, replace me on my jobs, and replace me with my friends. Their goal was to make me irrelevant. They'd send people my way of whom they thought look similar to me so they'd follow me learn my ways of living, socializing, and working, in hopes to replace me. Below are pictures of family members and informants they sent to show me "I look like you, I am following you, and I am going to replace you because they wanted whatever I had that was causing these people to lose their minds.

To the Bank Behind the RushCard!

I am a rush card holder and I have some concerns regarding the "monthly fees" and other charges versus what the RushCard's and the Simmons' Brand represents.I need to be made clear on why, when, who and hows of these fees and charges. You say no bank account required but there is charge for every thing.

Now say I was a person who had a bank account with a debit card that wasn't charging me to use it's ATM's, not charging me for online bill pay and I could transfer money from my saving to my checking for free, why would I choose a RushCard? I have been promoting the rushcard and the response I get from people are insulting. One person said to my son "why are you promoting this card don't you know it's for people with poor credit".

Please tell me again if I was a person with poor credit who had problems paying bills why choose a rushcard that's charging me monthly just to have it in my possession. Then if I wanted to withdraw money from an ATM I am charged, I am also charged for my PIN. Can you please tell me how the RushCard is designed to assist those types of people with budgeting etc? When there's just as many charges with the Rushcard as the are in the Banks. You have Russell Simmons on Television using his name and saying all of the good things the RushCard has to offer for those seeking a "path to financial freedom" then when people get online and apply they are "turned off" by the fees. Can you please tell me how do you plan on competing with banks that offer second chance accounts for people who lack fiscal responsibility?

This is an exert from a blog written by Russell Simmons: The Banks are Bullying the Poor & I'm Not having it "What's clear to me now is that banks are still increasing the cost to the powerless (poor) while they offer everyone else money to open accounts. I'm watching banks hold back features that they and I both know will help people save money and improve their lives. They trick customers into doing things that are not good for them through lack of transparency, and surprise them with new fees when they can least afford it. I'm learning an important lesson about ethics or lack of ethics in this industry. In fact, I'm fighting with a bank right now that doesn't know what kind of ass whipping they are going to get when I expose them for the abusive practices and exuberant fees they are charging the poor. What they are doing is trying to double their already outrageously high fees in exchange for providing absolutely nothing to my customers. All I want to do is to get the poor a better deal with more reasonable fees with better services. This bank is intentionally trying to destroy this industry, which is building a platform for under-served communities. And for this they should be ashamed of themselves."

Russell Simmons and Arra Da Flygurl, Discusses religion

In this blog I will compare and contrast the similarities and differences between the religion I grew up learning about and my present religious beliefs with traditional and current beliefs and practices of the Hindu and The Nation of Islam religions. A little bit about Hindu and The Nation of Islam; Hinduism is a intellectual religion the goal is to enlighten individuals with truth, self love, self knowledge and peace of mind sought the meditation, the Vedas and a group of philosophical systems. The Samkhya system's philosophy divides reality into two parts the Purusha and the Self which is eternally wise, pure and free... and the Prakriti the material universe one most know the difference between the two in order to avoid confusion and delusion. The Advaita system practice belief in one reality, Self the material world is nonexistent, however we create the illusion by worrying ourselves with the issues of the physical world, for example socialism,being concerned with things that isn't meant to be control by others. We control ourselves, investing too much time into the “physical” world is a recipe for confusion and turmoil.

The Nation of Islam, which was started by Elijah Muhammad and a white man named, Master Fard Muhammad, always pointed out that one day we would all live in harmony. Although this still isn't quite true, their message under the leadership of Minister Louis Farrakhan has evolved to fit the time (Simmons, 2009). The Five Pillars of Islam are the five basic principles, guidelines or commandments a Muslim must do his best to fulfill because they are considered God's commandments. Similar to the the ten commandments in the bible true Muslims just same as Christians should do the best without concern as to what other Christians or Muslims are involved with. And in my opinion Muslims have a greater chance at fulfilling the five pillars because followers of Islam seems to be more focus and committed to their religion than to appease the leadership. Learning from their leadership's teachings and using their lives as examples to fulfill these commandments seems to be the basis of five pillars and drawing other followers in.

Interview Summary

The person I interviewed is my Dad and personal Guru Russell Simmons, who has been instrumental in bringing hip-hop to every facet of business and media since its inception in the late 1970s: in music with the co-founding of the immensely successful original Def Jam Recordings; in the fashion industry with the trail-blazing Phat Farm, BabyPhat, Run Athletics, ArgyleCulture, American Classics and Def Jam University clothing lines; in film with Simmons Lathan Media Group; in television with HBO’s “The Def Comedy Jam” and “Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry”; on Broadway with the Tony Award winning stage production “Russell Simmons Def Poetry Jam on Broadway”; in the financial services industry with UniRush and its RushCard and Baby Phat RushCard; in fine jewelry with The Simmons Jewelry Co; in video gaming, mobile communications and other industries utilizing the internationally recognized Def Jam brand through Def Jam Enterprises; and in the community with Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation and the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network. Russell is a sought-after public speaker and regularly addresses audiences ranging from public school children and university students to corporate executives and community leaders.

Being a follower and writer for Global Grind Russell Simmons' online hip hop magazine I only thought it would be right to discuss the Nation of Islam and Hindu beliefs from his perspective. I also compare and contrast Christianity, the religion I was taught as a child and the affects it's transformation has had on my life as an adult.

The Interview

1. What are some of the cultural and societal influences that has made the Nation of Islam and Christianity vital to your life?

Russell Simmons: When I grew up in Hollis, Queens there was a rehab, a mosque and a “Steak n' Take” on my corner, all of which where run by the Nation of Islam. There was also a heroin epidemic on that corner that was killing off our teenagers and young adults. Our parents would tell us that when we grow up we should make a choice to either join the army or "be a Muslim or something.” The Nation of Islam secured our housing projects, promoted dignity and transformed men with criminal pasts. Those men would then, in turn, raise refined, educated black children. Hard to dispute this. It took guys off the street and created a powerful, non-violent movement. The Nation of Islam has never been associated with any form of violence and always been about uplifting our communities and making a better future for black people. If you ask anyone from my generation, from any ghetto in this country, I promise you they have roughly the same experiences regarding the Nation's presence in their communities.

Arra Da Flygurl Simmons: I grew up in a Baptist church, Greater new Bethel Baptist in Opa, Locka Fl (Miami) and it was nothing like what I have experienced in churches as an adult. All of the members took care of one another. It was more of a religious family organization which seemed to care about the youth and the elderly members. After attending/visiting churches in the Tallahassee area, I understand how Jim Jones manipulated his followers into committing suicide. If the Waco massacres happened the way the media wants us to believe. I can also understand how that happened as well. It seems people in today's society are using organized religion to recruit more followers. Many of the Christian-Faith based churches I have attended in the past 3 years have had "charismatic leadership"; however the new twist is "Honor thy leader and not God. Bring me money and followers and there's a possibility your prayers will be answered". Sort of like a genie in a bottle but those needing wishes granted must compete against one another for the leader to ask "God" to grant them.

2. As a follower of Hinduism and Christianity, how do you view the world?

Russell Simmons: I have grown to learn that the world is 100% what you make it…that is the essence of the science of all of the holy books; a collective consciousness that we all go through life seeking. We journey through life trying to cleanse our thoughts, so our prayers will be answered. If we harbor hate in our hearts, then it will take much longer to reach that level of consciousness.

Arra Da Flygurl Simmons:Again I can only speak based on my experience in the Christian- faith based religions here in the United States which has completely changed since I was a child. The Christian-faith denominations and non denominations are running wild and confusing their followers will soon lead to a religious war with in the United States, if the leaders don't wake up and start teaching their followers the truth instead of teaching them to follow the leader and not God. Then once the war begins then there will be a division, similar to what we see now with many separate denominations. However many denominations will come together and eventually there will only be two. The ones who actually follow God and teach truth and those that teach their followers to follow man. Which ever group of those two (truth and non truth followers) prevails after the war will then experience a successful interfaith movement comprised of the beliefs from the "majority".

3. What influences do you feel the Nation's as well as Christian leaders has had on the African American community in the past and currently?

Russell Simmons: Certainly some of their preachers were fiery, especially in their pointing out the evils of white supremacy. They said some things in a way that was hard for most whites and some blacks to digest. For example, “THE WHITE MAN IS THE DEVIL.” We have to remember the climate of the country during this time. It was an all out war and the Nation was not about to back-down. The Nation of Islam, which was started by Elijah Muhammad and a white man named, Master Fard Muhammad, always pointed out that one day we would all live in harmony. Although this still isn't quite true, their message under the leadership of Minister Louis Farrakhan has evolved to fit the time.

It is true that some blacks are still not “free” and stuck in a slave mentality, due to the lingering affects of 400+ years of slavery. It is the recognition of this condition that the Nation continues its important work in ghettos across America, giving steady doses of spirituality or sense of higher self to many men and women who need it.

Arra Da Flygurl Simmons: When I think about organized religion and my experiences in some of the churches that I have visited in the past three years. I think its based on control and manipulation, the religious aspect is just for show. Many churches are like corporations, their staff are paid salaries, and the pastor keeps record of each member’s salary and how much they contribute to the church. Some churches even penalized it’s members who aren’t contributing their fair share according to the bible. Using the bible for profit and as a tool of manipulation and control. I recently moved back to Charlotte, NC from Tallahassee, Fl and my experiences with organized churches there (Tallahassee) were the same once I returned here.

The nondenominational church I attended in Tallahassee, Fl was lead by a young pastor whom the members seem to have a misguided respect for. They called him “Daddy” well the women did. Mainly because they are young college students, or young women who were fatherless and seeking family , acceptance and something to be apart of. These women seemed to be very naive, vulnerable and manipulated. Their every other word when speaking to them about church was “the Pastor” or “Daddy”. The guys seemed to spend their time, when not attending church, looking for ways to get recognition from the pastor on Sunday. 4. In Hinduism (Christianity) what's a sin or is Karma determined by the life you lead?

Russell Simmons: Sometimes I'm amazed that we are still breathing. With the horrible abuses of the animals, the planet and human kind, it’s amazing that we are still here. But now I'm really afraid that our beloved country, America, is standing on its last wobbly legs. I'm worried that the karmic effects of our negative actions will finally come home to roost. Our lack of compassion and love could actually consume us. However, we are still being given signs from the universe, glimpses of hope and opportunities to rise up and live up to our promise. The whole world wants us to succeed. The whole world wants us to lead. The whole world wants us to be the beacon of hope that we all joyously supported on November 5, 2008 when we elected our forty-fourth president, Barack Obama.

Arra Da Flygurl Simmons: In the church I attended as a child I was taught sins included things like lying, being disrespectful, stealing, you know things that the "average" person would consider wrong. But in today's Christian faith based churches it's left up to the leadership to determine if you have sinned or if someone has sinned against you. And based on what you give to the church determines how you or the person who sinned against you will be dealt with. There's no redemption, repentance etc. Though the preacher may speak on it actions say otherwise.

5. What are the important practices, holidays and traditions of these religions?

Russell Simmons: "Yoga" means union with God. The state of yoga could be defined as heaven on earth or Christ consciousness. The spiritual and physical science of yoga is meant to promote consciousness whereby the yogi "can see the miracles unfolding" or be "enlightened". This space is the goal of life. All of us are searching for this peaceful existence also described as the state of "not needing anything." In the classical yoga practice, there are eight steps that are simple but easy to forget. They are as follows:

1) The Yamas (Social restraints). There are five practices and they mirror the ten commandments or restraints in all religions.

2)The Niyamas (observances)

Asana: Physical practice of yoga. Asana means seat. All poses should be steady and joyful. This is the physical practice you see in studios. Smile and breathe every pose.4) Praniyama: Science of life-force or breath control. Practice of making the holy breath your soundtrack.5) Pratihara: withdrawal of senses6) Concentration7) Dharma meditation8) Samahdi: State of yoga union with GodI'm sitting here on vacation with my children teaching them these simple practices. Finally I tell them, "we are all practicing yogis like it or not. We are all moving toward God. Some faster than others. These practices, like the sciences of all major religions speed up our evolution."

Arra Da Flygurl Simmons: Christians have created a bunch of holidays to celebrate the life and death of Jesus, Christmas as I discussed earlier, Good Friday commemorates Jesus' crucifixion and Easter Sunday this commemorates Jesus' resurrection. Because Christianity in the United States is so divided and watered down Jesus is being replaced with Pastors and Ministers who are placing themselves on a pedestal and interrupting their congregation's connection or relationship with God because of their selfish need to be worshiped and praised.

Muslims celebrate Ramadan to commemorate, and they must pray five times daily the daily practices are based around oneness with god and cleansing of the body and soul. Same a Hindus. Fasting does exist in Christian- faith based religions in the United States it’s just the meaning behind isn’t as serious in my opinion. It’s seems as if ministers pick a week or two from out of the month and instructs his follows on what to eat and not to eat as a for of control it has nothing to do with God or the religions true practices.

6. How has the practices and traditions of these religions shaped yours and your family's life?

Russell Simmons: The daily practice of meditation is precious to me. It's in the stillness and the silence that I am able to make sense of the world and the creative possibilities that help me do better in all aspects of my life. Every morning after meditation, I look through the daily newspapers and surf the internet. Some of this stuff is supposed to be pretty heavy. But honestly, at that time of the morning I'm still high as hell from my meditation and really "its all illusion".

The yogi's say life's whole pursuit is coming to a higher state of consciousness where we attain a state of needing nothing. I know that when we start to throw out our junk and start needing LESS junk- we are heading in the right direction. One of the greatest gifts I can give as a parent is passing on faith in this knowledge so that my children can be free of the disease of always wanting more and come to a place of recognition that we always have everything we need at every moment.

Arra Da Flygurl Simmons: After a quick assessment of my life and the things that I have experienced and things that I continued to see in others I encounter, I considered myself spiritual. My definition of spiritual is knowing that there is a higher power to which I am connected and also the achievement of knowledge of and becoming one with Self. There was a time when I was so caught up in the physical world and trying to compare myself with and meet up to the standards of others. I was confused with so many influences I didn't know which way to turn, however, I read and studied the Bible my entire life. The Bible has taught me the principles to live by, comparable to the Vedas, I even meditate and this is something that I just knew I had to do in order to have peace of mind and not allow outside influences to control me. I teach my son the same; live right, eat right and respect yourself and those around you.

I grew up baptist and I have attended several churches of various denomination throughout the United States and have found many people are just looking for something to latch on to while they compete for positions, recognition and acceptance and have no knowledge of self. Many of the people will fall for anything their leadership tells them even if it means commit crimes against another. Not only is this behavior demonstrated in churches, it exists in corporate and social organizations. Christianity has the same guidelines as Hinduism. It's just Christianity is based on and made up of confusion from the physical world. Granted their a millions of people following the principles of the Vedas or a Guru however very few really understand what it means to be One with and have complete knowledge of Self.

7. Eye for an Eye? Or turn the other cheek?

Russell Simmons: I have been told by many of my twitter followers that the reason they follow me is because I am a spiritual voice of reason. Every day I remind my “followers” to turn the other cheek, meditate to bring themselves closer to god and to try not waste their energy sweating the small stuff. I know that if they follow my advice and are able to find that stillness, the one that I have been fortunate enough to get a glimpse of, it will eventually lead them to happiness, or a state of yoga that is their birthright. I certainly can't say I’ve mastered it, but I have faith that it is possible in this lifetime. I am, as you are, a work in progress. But if you ask anyone who has known me before I started practicing these principals, they will say that the person who was nicknamed "Rush," because I couldn't sit still, is now someone who doesn't "Rush as Much."

Arra Da Flygurl Simmons: In the churches from the past it was "pray about it and turn the other cheek". In today's Christian-faith based churches if the followers give the pastor enough money he will make sure the problem is dealt with and the victim will never know where it came from. It's as if the Church Leaders really believe they have the power of God.

8. What are the challenges, if any, to practicing this particular religion? What can be done to overcome them?

Russell Simmons: Young people are our most precious natural resource, and we must do all we can to give them tools that will help them stay focused and positive. Stress is everywhere, in the streets and the classroom. There¹s a mountain of scientific data that supports the fact that consciousness-based education and having quiet time at the beginning and end of the school day improves academic performance and spills over to happier and healthier young people at home.

I am excited to join in the visionary work of the David Lynch Foundation who are hard at work chasing the dream of bringing TM to a million students worldwide. I thank them for taking the lead among teachers, doctors, scientists, and visionary artists like Paul McCartney and others involved in helping youth unleash their full brain potential.

Arra Da Flygurl Simmons: I find it funny that many churches have thousands of members and they ask/require their members to go out and recruit for the church. "We need more members" because they new building, that the current members are paying for, is opening soon and they want to fill it up so that they can ask for more member's and more money for another building. No one in the church is concerned about the sick unless, it a member that pays consistently and makes it worth the Pastor's time. None of the leaders are instructing their followers to witness and tell others about the Truth and choices etc. It's all about drawing people unto the Pastor, god is slowly being removed from those types of churches. It's gonna eventually lead to mass confusion, then war.

9. Is there a Heaven, Hell or does the life I live now determine my reincarnation.

Russell Simmons: America, our country is under indictment. And we will be found guilty if we don’t act. If we allow these nasty, malicious people, who harbor so much hate with views that separate us from the rest of world, to continue to tell us how to think, we will be found guilty of charge one. If we allow so-called “men of faith” who don’t practice a word Jesus Christ preached, to bully us and scare us, we will be found guilty of charge two. If we allow leaders of our country who claim that they represent us, when they really represent big business and corporate greed, to create policy in our name, we will be found guilty of charge three. If we allow leaders of a political party that only know one word, and that is “no,” to work against the best interests of our country, we will not only be found guilty of charge four, we will be sentenced by GOD to SELF-DESTRUCTION.

Arra Da Flygurl Simmons:One of the Pastors, (a college graduate), that I was under as a child taught us about those who profess no belief of God with in their groups. However they say otherwise to the public "wolves in sheep clothing". I guess this is one of the reasons I began to question Christianity as an adult. I always looking to find those "wolves in sheep's clothing". Then I also remember another friend of mine who came home after graduating college and she would tell me about "circles" that exist and how some were there for protection and how some set out to destroy those who would not conform. For years to follow those two things really stuck with me because I was always taught to believe in God and was under the impression the every one else felt the same. There were just "sinners" who would eventually choose "god" and everybody would go to Heaven because who would want to go to hell?

Conclusion:

Now after learning how the Nation of Islam has such a positive influence on it's community and it's followers. Again I question Christianity, why has it transformed into a brainwashed control mechanism that is slowly but surely removing God from the basis of it's beliefs and practices. In my opinion, Hinduism is similar to a democracy the people have the choice and the freedom the worship and choose which belief system to follow under one religion, though to many this could be very confusing. The only difference is there is peace within this religion because of the practices and varied system of beliefs. The end result for the "Christian-faith denominations and non denominations who are running wild and confusing their followers will soon lead to a religious war with in the United States, if the leaders don't wake up and start teaching their followers the truth instead of teaching them to follow the leader and not God".

Obviously with the schedule that I have I don't pay attention to many of these requests, but since he was activly engaging in making the public aware of Mr. Simmons Rush card, I wanted to know what was the intrest to him. I recognized his ability to be an entrepreneur for the brand, but I must insist that the Rush Card is 100% designed for people with fiscal management issues, and yes for people (not saying he is one of them) with poor management issues.

The Rush card only makes a profit for its CEO which is Mr. Simmons and it targets mainly African-American with fiscal management issues.

I got a bachelors degree in accounting and did extensive research on the company, and trust me Russell Simmons is just exploiting people by avoiding teaching them fiscal responsibility, and how not to overdraft your account.

If I could tell you how they (my stalking fans) follow me you'd think I was crazy but no matter what. They seem to find me. Well slowly but surely as my true identity secrets unfold the hate increases. So as you all may know by now I am a Simmons one of the beautiful daughters of Russell Simmons. And everybody wants to know why now. Why tell us now. Thinking I am looking for a handout a get rich quick scheme etc etc. After all of the things that have been happening to me who wouldn't be looking for somebody to free them. However it's the total opposite here. Everybody around me knew, I didn't and this is why these people were going above and beyond to keep me from finding out, why? Because it's "American's" nature to smile in your face and pull you down like a crab in the bucket. Yes it's true yall were taught well. Well during our get to know one another process my Dad was trying his best to bring people together. By knowing me, he knew who I'd fit in with and where I would be able to detect "hate". Especially within the Simmons' organization. And please believe the same things yall were doing to keep me down the Powers that Be were trying to do the same thing to the Simmons family to keep everybody distracted. But God is good and you can't stop his plans no matter how hard you try, Devils! Let's talk about my introduction to one of the people behind Pastry Shoes.

Now I was suppose to receive these shows back in January it wasn't until after I alerted my Dad Via Twitter things started changing. @UncleRush who is Marice @ vidagroup he has been promising to send me Pastry shoes etc etc we have been speaking via email spam mail?

I am certain somebody spoke to Maurice but let me tell you this prior to sending me the shoes he called me from a number in the (561) area code which I am sure is a bootleg number that's the work of IT people they do ish like that to try to talk to me. Trust when I quit they management called my house pretending to be bill collectors hoping that I'd get all panicky and run back to them for employment. So while dude and I are having a conversation via phone he is telling things he has already read on facebook about myself and my son. I just sat and listened. Anyway to make a long story short. After almost two months I finally got the shoes via UPS. They were shipped out on February 10, 2010 and arrived at my house yesterday, February 23, 2010. I am certain that during this time somebody was hoping I'd call Maurice on that bootleg phone number and speak to one of them stalkers in Florida. See how stupid they are. And these people have access to so many people's personal information. So I got my shoes!

I was just gonna make this one for the ladies but fellas you need to see this to. Some of you are big brothers as well as fathers so let your little sisters read it too. Again I woke up this morning and my twitter fingers started typing away and before I knew it. Here's a blog with a purpose!
I'm sorry people I hate to keep bringing up Tallahellssee but I got to share, somebody's son or daughter needs to hear it, so check it. As you know so many educated women there are allowing men play games with their minds it's unbelievable almost had me thinking something was wrong with me. But again back to the neighbor from California and her (guy friend) one of Florida's state representative's assistant now yall know my moms was staying with me for awhile in Tallahellsee. I also let me nephew come up to try to get himself a life started be it in school of just working saving and planning something to get him on the right path. Well, let me tell you what those to "college educated" devils were doing. As you know little miss neighbor informant, was keeping her guy informed on everything she heard or saw happening in my house. One day she asked "do you have wireless? " The next day my wireless was blocked, all because little I wanna be your clone didn't have wireless on her computer but I am sure after reading my blogs you all know she had wireless in the Brain! I also need to mention homegirl had all this time to play games and still end up in somebody's church on Sunday and go for prayer during the week. I really would like to know what God she was worshiping, that he wasn't trying to show her "you're ass is ignorant!"
Obviously the God she served had her deaf, blind and dumb cause she was getting non of the messages I was sending her ass. Anyway this is what the (guy friend), you know the only time she wanted me to come over was when he was there. He'd be talking about how his friend, a girl, how her mother was taking a of her and how he didn't think it was right. THAT my friends was an attempt to put negative thoughts in my head about m moms. I'd sit there and listen like homeboy it aint nothing you can put in my head bout my Old Girl cuz you don't know anything about her but keep talking so I can check your weak ass technique! THEN HE WOULD try to get me to engaged in conversation about my nephew see my nephew is Gay, a blind man can see that but he is very confident like Ru Paul Okaaay! So mister guy friend would talk about how he wouldn't come to my house becuz of my nephew. I'd look like, did I invite you? Nope, but keep talking and exposing your insecurities homey! Like I said I eventually stop talking to the girl all together she would try to engage in conversation from time to time to show me she was still stalking me and like two weeks before I moved guy friend start coming back around they were hoping I'd talk to them to at least ask for help to move or at least tell them where I was going.

After spending time on twitter discussing some of my experiences in Tallahassee. I have come to the realization I worked with a bunch of idiots. There are no other words that describes them. Let's take a stroll down memory lane, shall we? Remember I told you guys the men I worked with, married and single, were going above and beyond the call of duty to show how desperate they were/are for sex. Well I am reminded of The Black Caucus Gala 2008 in Tallahassee, Fl. I was still living in the real estate's company apartment complex. This girl had moved in next door, she was from California, from the beginning she seemed strange but everybody seemed strange during this times so I put it aside and tried to befriend her. Well we will refer to her as "the neighbor" for now. The neighbor had a guy friend who was an assistant to a state representative and wanted to know if I would accompany himself and the "neighbor" to The Black Caucus Gala. Now prior to the event I felt as if she, like everybody else in Tallahassee was trying to engage me in sexual activities with her and the "guy friend". She'd only want me to come over when he was there. Had I had company over she would wait until he came to her house find a reason to invite me over and he'd be trying to tell me about how his boss was cute but when he heard her and her husband having sex in their office it turned him off. I use to sit there like these dumb assholes and he's claiming he from Miami coming at me with these damn nursery rhymes lies and games so I was like Imma stay away from them. This bitch, the "neighbor" like all of the other people had to find away in so she asked my Mom to babysit for her. Now let me tell you this she wasn't working when she first moved into the building so I am certain providing information about me helped to get her bills paid until she started working, for the department of Juvenile Justice. Ain't that some shit she playing games like a twelve year old and working making important decisions regarding the lives of other people's children.

I need to say this I became friends with the "NEIGHBOR" on myspace and the "guyfriend" as well. And to be honest I must have had some hoes on my myspace page because instead of being mature adults these fools in Tallahassee were judging me based on what the people on my myspace page did. Now KEEP IN MIND mind most of my friends on myspace were in various parts of the country THEY DID NOTHING BUT POST PICTURES AND POST STUPID COMMENTS ON MY PAGE and I blogged alot, none of them were blogging just responding to thing's I'd write. So please tell me why all these damn college educated people in Tallahassee could not read between those lines. Instead they let the damn cyber world create delusional thoughts in their heads. Which showed me none of them were as educated as the titles they hold. Now let's see I had a girl who worked for the Department of Corrections, The entire group at the IT job, This chick who works for the Department of Juvenile Justice, The Freaks at the real estate company among others. Obama,somebody needs to do some house cleaning I JUST solved the problem as to why the world is so messed up!

As a child guilty by association is an extremely important factor when choosing friends. Because people to judge based on who you hang around. But when it comes to adults judging people based on who's their top friends on social networks and testing the person who has friends with bad reps on the myspace or facebook pages based on something you observed from one of those social network friends is taking it a little too far. I have had people try to become the people that were on my facebook and myspace thinking that would encourage me to be their friends when all it shows me is that the person going above and beyond call of duty to become my friend when I don't know jack about them is a tad bit insane!!! I hope that makes sense!!! Don't try to show a person you want to be their friends by doing things that people on their myspace and facebook pages do when the person you are trying to impress or encourage has no idea that the person you are mimicking participates in the activities you do. You make yourself look real stupid in the end. You may think because you chose to send signs that only the person you were following sees but that person you are following my know how to communicate it in a way that may expose your secrets to the world! Wise up people!

I wrote this blog when they first "exposed" Tiger's affair!!! And then they got him all over the news apologizing and ish! I didn't watch but according to my sources I am told it was like they covered all things for him to say prior to airing the "apology". According to Ariana Huffington co-founder and editor and chief of the Huffington Post, "You can just picture his handlers working on the statement and going down a checklist". Can I ask yall this what the hell is he apologizing for. I am sorry they set me up because I am black man who is the best in the world at a white sport. I am sorry my father spent time teaching me and helping me master the game and because of it I have many endorsements! Those endosers, gatorade, nike etc... any of them African American owned!! Tiger you don't have to apologize for shit! All you need to do is fix your marriage if it's worth it continue to focus on God and your passion and hello black owned companies... Hey people here is something I'd written early '09 during my time imprisoned in the City of Tallahassee. And as always I want to share with you. "Now keep in mind I'm sensitive bout my ish..."- Badu

I was laying in bed thinking about my life and my son and something told me to get up and share this. I originally entitled it "why did he run away". I was thinking about my son and like a lot of other sons and daughters out there that have no Fathers in the home. I asked myself like I would guess many mothers would. "why did he run away?". And instantly my mind took me back to slavery and I know these words may be harsh but its truth. We "people of color, or Negroes" were taught that we were not suppose to have family. We were taught to be servants nothing more or nothing less.

I am reminded of a conversation I had with an older gentlemen in Salt Lake City Utah. The gentlemen asked me why was I there (in Salt Lake City). I began to tell him I was there for flight attendant training and gave a little more information about myself and the experiences of being a single parent. The Gentlemen was a white man in his 70's. He then asked what were my goals in life. I told him I wanted to learn as much as I can about my people "African Americans". He then said "why, they were meant to be servants nothing more or nothing less". I was pissed I think my face turned red. He then went on to say how he was against segregation and how he didn't want his kids going to school with black kids because they were having sex, doing drugs and etc. Well he was originally from Texas, a military man.

I went on to tell him and the other white gentlemen at the table my experiences as a teenager. I grew up in the eighties in Miami, Florida went to elementary school with African American and Hispanic American kids was introduced to white kids when our school went on field trips to other schools. And how I felt I was inferior. Once I entered what we called junior high that's when I made my first white friend, saw kids smoking cigarettes, talking about sex (I mean actually talking about how they had sex, not lying about having sex, Like my friends and I were). I told him things like sex, drugs, and welfare have no respect of person. I told the man African Americans are not the only ones who struggle with those issues. It was happening like that in his day and its the same today. We became good friends after that day. It just amazed me that to know that someone actually thought black people were/are meant to be servants. (I just want to point out after getting to know that Gentlemen, throughout my stay in Salt Lake City, he became one my closest friends we would have dinner together and he taught me a lot about history, the wars, it was quite interesting.)

Sorry Back to Why He ran Away: Fathers and mothers were taken from there homes never to been seen again. The purpose was to keep the black family broken. And this fear has been embedded in some of our subconscious minds to keep that unforeseen nightmare alive. So its not totally His fault ladies. There's many things that's still exist in our culture from slavery. Both positive and negative. Story telling, "Ebonics" the African dialect from slavery, the broken English we speak because our ancestors were not allowed to speak their true languages from the African Cultures. However I say all of that to say this its a new day people. Change starts within and please know that mental slavery still exist in "our people": When I say our people I am not speaking of the African American culture alone. I mean people who suffer from poverty, broken homes, mental abuse, mental oppression any behavior placed on a person to keep them down. Obama has proven it, change is here. There is no need to run no matter what it looks like on the outside. We have the power to change every negative into a positive. We must forgive. Fear is powerful only if you let it control you. I want to take this time to thank those "acting fathers" in my son's life. The Teachers, Coaches, Principals, Mentors, Friends I thank you for taking up your brother's slack. United we stand people. Change isn't coming: ITS HERE!

Finally After going into several stores I found a Pastry Shoe Display in Foot Locker!

Pastry Youth! Girls. This Pastry shoe is for young girls youth- to preteens do you see the direction it's facing!!!

Pastry Kids! Toddlers, babies etc! This shoe is for the Babies and Toddlers do you see which direction it's facing as well!!!

Pastry Women!!! Now this is the Adult women's Pastry Shoe display in the back of the store however it's facing the right direction!

Yall, Sade's Soldier of Love, the first single from her new album also titled Soldier of love, I tried real hard not to like. Imma keep it real but I couldn't help it. Sade just blows my mind every single time she has dropped an album. And personally I don't think she gets enough recognition. How many albums can you drop in the CD player and just let it ride? Only people like Lauryn Hill, Sade, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce's Dangerously in Love yes, Bee I'm still rocking to your first solo album.

I'm riding in the car with my Mom just zoning cause the radio station in Charlotte V101.9,Preston Miles (radio personality), had a Sade, Soldier of Love, listening party. My Dad, Russell Simmons wrote a blog "The Banks Are Bullying The Poor & I'm not Having it" basically calling these damn Banks out for taking advantage of the poor and then crying broke to the Government getting "Bailouts" while getting rich from charging the poor instead of educating them on how to handle their finances.

I understand where you are coming from. I can only speak from personal experience though. I have banked with credit unions (own by the people, yea right), as well as federal owned large and small banks. They are designed to keep certain people with the mega funds investing in them. While controlling the funds of those less fortunate. They offer second chance accounts however they offer no classes on budgeting because the aim is to keep those (poor) people in debt, accounts overdrawn and then there are charges.
Now there's a bank in the Wal-Marts here in Charlotte "Woodforest National Bank" based out of Texas and they're supposed to be a "second chance bank". Well this is what I have experienced, my son and I have accounts there, his is a "custodial account". Meaning whenever I go to the teller to make a deposit or withdrawal they can see there's more than one account in my name. I am known at the bank at the Wal-Mart near my house, I go there regularly. Just yesterday I was there I am sure these people could have seen my son's account was in the negative. They said nothing as they assisted me with my business seeing my account clearly had enough in it to cover what the negative balance was in his account again the employees said nothing. So today I get the notice in the mail the transaction took place on February 9, 2010 do you know how many times I have been inside that Wal-Mart since that date and again the employees said nothing. So I opened the notice and saw the account was in the negative and had been charged a fee ($34.00), please can I break the fee code $34.00, flip the numbers around and it's code for "fuck you". Don't act like yall wasn't using them codes when yall had beepers back in the day! Yep this is what the second chance banks are telling us well the black men "fuck you"!
Now get this I asked the manager is there anything I can do to get the charge removed? Them nazi mugs gone tell me to have MY SON take a test online and print out the damn DIPLOMA bring it back to the bank and they'll remove it! WTF! Now my account ain't never been in the negative. I ain't never had these issues until I opened an account for my son, a young black male, at a "second chance" racists bank. He hasn't had this problem with any of the other accounts he has with other banks! Please read my blog "Can I make a Deposit and go, please?
