I made this Earthtone Blanket for my daughter and she loves it.  Lion Brand Wool-Ease in Mushroom, Oatmeal and White-Multi. I&#39;m not sure how much but it was A LOT!! :)









The stitch is known by several names, Moss Stitch, Woven Stitch, etc. It&#39;s a single crochet and chain, then the next row you single crochet in the chain space and chain one. Easy Peasy!!

 This throw would be perfect in any size or any yarn. A nice cotton yarn would be perfect to take to the beach this summer. You could make a smaller size for a new baby gift! It looks like fun and a little bit of a challenge which I like so I don&#39;t get bored when crocheting.

My very first Elegance Cowl...





I made this last weekend using half double crochet, double crochet,treble crochet, triple treble crochet and a couple of rows of V-stitches just for fun! Then I joined it together with clusters that remind me of little button decorations. Nothing boring about this pattern.

After my last post are you ready for some good news?

I&#39;ve been gone for a while and I normally don&#39;t share a lot on my blog about my personal life but, I feel this is important to share because it could happen to anyone and maybe this story will help someone else.

My son turned 28 years old on July 5, 2013. On July 19, 2013 at 4:30 am he knocked on the door of my bedroom and said he thought he needed to go to the hospital.
