Today is a Lazy day and after hubby took me to have some pancakes I cam home and sorted out some of my projects. After yesterday at my daughter's house she told me she wants me to make

Google's Blogger in March is discontinuing the "Friends Connect" we all proudly keep in our sidebars.
It is disappointing because it is how we all stay connected and use it to visit each other
They are encouraging us all to use GooGle+ instead. Which means another page
to fill out and connect to. Sheesh......

Google + is it competing with FB? Yes it is who will win???? hmmmm

If you have an email and you are connected to Google+ then we can be connected, but if not
then how will we find each other??? The only way may be to note down somewhere the blogs you like most by adding the feeds to your sidebars....this will help us some but not those that have
100s or 1000s of followers...

Sad is the word I think of .....a lot of us will definitely miss it...

New Year's Crochet Resolutions

My dear blogging friend "Chatty Crone" posted this on her blog, and
I just had to put it up here.. it is how I felt on the Monday after Christmas
and I just now finished up the final clean up after having everyone
over...phew.... but yes give me those sweets!!! lol....

Does everyone like the new blogging posting format? I haven't heard anyone
say anything on their blogs about it but I am still on the fence
with it????? It seems better on one hand but a little awkward on the other...What
do you think???

And has everyone thought about their New Year' resolutions...

Here are my top 5:

finish all my WIP putting them in the order I want to work on them
use my "special" yarns and stop saving them
Try something new,maybe a free crochet patterns or wonderful books
re-do my craft room and move all my bags from downstairs to upstairs
Make a charity project or visit a rest home and show some my craft

I'm trying to keep it simple this year.....what's your top 5????

Christmas Last Minute Details

I am getting the last bits of my Christmas details done....

Yesterday I finished up my wrapping all my gifts and filling the stockings and mailing out the last of my Christmas cards!

Today I made my Banana Bread and my mom's recipe for her "Magic Cookie Wonder Bars" today...Yum Yum...

this is mine and I love it

I actually bought two because one was just not big enough....which I figured will work out really good for those that like rare and those that like well done. :)

Now these candies are really good I love Dark Chocolate and the Pretzel M&Ms are fantastic....yummy!!

At least how it should be, it is a children's story that shows a young boy giving selflessly to another child in need it is not a new one and has been around awhile, but always worth viewing again.

Christmas Gifts Crochet and Shells

I made my g-daughter star fish and then went to the shell
shop and got some real star fish and glued them in the middle
she can hang them up or lay them on her dresser her
room is all done in sea shells and beach look.

then I went and got her a shell that opens to put the cross
earrings I made her inside

this is the headband I made not sure who gets this

I added an antique button I had

I made it with Anne Blatt yarn

Remember this photo of me with my goodie bag gift? I posted a couple posts ago with it. Well I have been using it as my bag since then and since it blinks the gals just love it. Everywhere I go someone asks me about it... I just think it is so cute and so does everyone else thank you Patricia for giving it to me. I love "blinky" things!!

I was over at Crochet Galore's blog and she had been over a friend's house and they made these "kissing balls". I had never heard of them, but after seeing how cute hers turned out I am definitely going to make a few...and with the citrus center I bet it smells great too....so tomorrow I am off to get some greens...

Make a Wreath for Gifts or Your Christmas Tree

This is a beautiful wreath to crochet that comes from Ashton11. I found it over at Favecrafts

Materials:

Knitting worsted yarn, (or 100% cotton worsted, or satiny yarn of any type)
Crochet Hook, size 6MM, (USJ 10)
Assorted beads
White chenille stem (pipecleaner)
Hot glue gun and glue stick, or white glue
