Creative Accents Design Team is at it again they have a great new Challenge with a masculine theme. Get on over to Creative Accents and check it out.

This is my entry. I decided to use my husband as my inspiration for this masculine themed challenge. I had this picture of him just chilling and thought it captured him well. The Paper is Cosmo Cricket's Social Club and Bazzil's cardstock. Dale was made by sanding some chip board and using my Ranger Adirondack black paint dabber

I put two stacked Making Memories epoxy buttons on the (Noteworthy by Tim Holtz) embossed journalling card.

north to Alaska

Well folks I am leaving for Alaska in 3 days and am actually getting excited (i don't generally get excited about traveling) This will be a very nice trip sort of luxurious. I will magicly be sending out a post next Saturday but basically I will be offline for a few weeks unless they have wifi on the boat. should be fun though and a good break i will have my trusty blackberry which is now wifi capable. So have a wonderful couple weeks and see yall when I get back.

Upcycle Mini Album

This Mini is made using Upcylce by Cosmo Cricket. Love them so much and really loved doing this. I had two requests from Creative Accents (I am a guest designer there), one use one of the new paper lines from Cosmo Cricket, and two make it so it could be bound with Tim Holtz new binders.

I made the cover out of chip board and covered it with paper. the pages were made with a piece of paper 7x 11" some were folded up so there was a pocket at the bottom then the page folded in half to create 2 pages. I used some recycled craft magazines for titles and embellishments and so want more of those they are so cool
I had to use really hot models for the layout they just happen to be my Sister Julie and her daughter Tara (yes i have a fully grown niece) Creative team at Creative Accents in Williams Lake BC. Oh and I am the other hot model.
I made this album to commemorate our latest scrapbooking weekend in Edmonton. Met great people ( Tim Holtz, Julie Comstock, Diane Schultz .....) and had a great time with my Homeys.

Creative Accents May Challenge

Creative Accents has a new challenge for the month of may. check out the challenge site linked in my sidebar to see what you need to do and meanwhile have a look at my entry. I used Little My Yellow bicycle's Elizabeth Park collection to make this card, dimensional butterfly sticker on the front and vinyl border some pearls and foam letters inked fusia, Inside I ruffled and border punched with an ek success border punch (Dotted Scallop Edger Punch Item #: EA868026 (EKPL8026) and made a flower out of their diecut flowers.

So Mootseeka blew it big time. I was in a blog hop this weekend and completely forgot all about it. My DD1 had surgery this week and I was blessed with the presents of my dear GD1 GS1 and GS2 all under four years old. I am not cut out for this kind of energy level in my home anymore. I am so sorry to let all you Hoppers and Michelle down. Please forgive me.

It's a Spring Thing

I spent one afternoon with my Besty and this little friend of mine and my Besty took these pictures on her canon Rebel. I used 2 sets of canvas covered chipboard insect shapes; Martha Stewart ink, and Colorbok inks,and Stazon, Stickles and ultra thick black embossing enamel. The stamp sets I used were from Stampin up Love without end and Winged things The shapes were from the $ store and so was the ribbon used to hang it.

Creative Accents is looking for some guest designers.You can get more details from CA blog. So after a few false starts I can finally share with you the big news I got this past week. I have been asked to be a guest designer on Creative Accents Blog The challenge for this month is to use this photo

as inspiration Using tags is not a requirement but an added bonus. You will be entered twice if you used a tag on your project. The challenge ends April 30th.
Sooo here is my entry into the challenge I will remain an online addition for my 3 month stint we shall see.

Howdy, I have had a little idea and want to share it with you. I haunt thrift stores and have found lots of wonderful things, including lots of pretty flowers and ribbon. as you know I also make flowers with ribbon and crochet cotton. I am hoping that some
of my blog members and Youtube followers would like to do a swap. The items must be handmade or purchased at a thrift-store there has to be ten items per swap. Please let me know if you are interested.
