This is going to be a huge and wonderful day here at the church:

Following Worship Service will be Carry-in Thanksgiving Dinner. The turkey will be provided.

After clean-up of Thanksgiving Dinner. we will be having a time to fill Solider Boxes.

Then in the evening (6PM) is He Brews Coffee House: An evening of entertainment, fellowship, refreshments, coffee, music, rock'n praise and awesomeness! Alex Dolin, Alyssa Pitts, Final Fallback and Promise Me Forever (among others) will be preforming.

Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets

Please remember to bring in non-perishable items for the Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets. Bins are located in the front entrance for these items.

Also needed are items for Solider boxes. These boxes will be filled following Thanksgiving Dinner Nov. 29th. Some suggested items are Handi-wipes, hard candy, cookies, beef jerky, pretzels, tea flavorings for bottled water. For more info see Donna Covert.

Shoe Box Night!

Shoe Box Night is Nov. 15th at 5PM in The FLC: This is when we bring all of the collected items, old shoe boxes, and our financial donations (typically a suggested donation is about $5 for each). At this event, all of the items are spread out on tables, and then everyone takes turns individually and personally puts together boxes for underprivileged children overseas. We also fellowship and pray over the boxes.

-Followed by SOLIDER BOXES to be filled.

New Directory

Reminder to sign up for the new directory Nov. 11 and Nov 12.

Sign up sheets are on the table in the back of sanctuary. This will be a new directory for our church so we need 100% participation. You will get a complimentary 8x10 picture with free shipping to your home. There will be no need or pressure to purchase more. All orders will be received before Christmas.

Grief Support Meetings

THe first will be Tuesday, Oct. 20th in FLC.

Follow-up meetings will be the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

Whether your grief is recent or it has been years, let us all come together for support and share with one another. The Bible tells us we can comfort others with teh comfort ourselves have recieved from God.
