Hey peeps, if you followed CruxiJing closely you should know that I've posted about this particular Nendoroid previously. Finally I got my hands on this super cute Nendoroid which is a remake of the epic online game: Ragnarok Online! Here are two photos to ~~poison~~ interest my readers into buying it too XD Needless to say Poring is also ~~100% definitely~~ a must get for your collection :P

As a ~~intoxicated~~ keen player of Ragnarok Online, personally I think RO is a very balanced and controlled MMORPG which is very fun especially when you train and hunt together with your friends. Years passed since I first played RO and now even 3rd Jobs are here, I'm so proud being a player of RO!

P.S. Don't have much free time playing with it yet, so maybe more photos will be added.

Comparison between Windows 7 and OS X Lion features

2010-12-27T02:10:00.008+08:00

A brief comparison between both OSes:

The picture is pretty much self-explanatory but anyway, Mac has announced OS X Lion with some brand spanking new features such as the 3 above.

The only plus point about Launchpad is that it have multiple pages while Windows only have 1, but while being so, some times it may be a pain to find the application you want if you have too many pages. Contents in folders can and are previewed on both OSes.

Now for the 2nd feature: Full-screen Apps from OS X Lion. It means the application covers whole of the screen, hiding the desktop and dock from view. This feature existed long since Windows XP although not all application supports it, so finally OS X is implementing it.

The 3rd feature: Mission Control. This is definitely better than Windows' Windows Flip but not unlike Windows Flip, how many will actually put Mission Control into use? That, we will have to see.

P.S. Did I mention OS X Lion will only be released on 2011 Q2? Guess these features will have to wait.

Gundam GFFN #0043 RGZ-95 ReZEL

2010-12-15T00:56:00.018+08:00

Wooooooooooooooooow, I never realised there was a GFF version of ReZEL. Totally mesmerised by its level of details and the clarity of it when I first saw this gorgeous Fix Figuration. So I went around shopping malls to search for it but unfortunately its OUT OF STOCK locally. Last resort, HLJ! I bought a total of 3 units from HLJ. 1 at 6,000 yen and 2 at 4,200 yen each(30% discount). Waited almost 2 weeks for it to arrive from Japan >< a very long wait for a very anticipated model! Hear hear, so enough gibberish, let the photos do the talking!

RGZ-95 ReZEL in full MS glory!

A totally different feel from MSZ-008 Z II's Wave Rider Mode:

Overall, I would rate this GFFN 8.5/10 for the awesome details and good articulation. Knocked off some points for minor detail defects and such ;D Oh and did I say I gave 1 to Jing? :D

Produced by Katoki Hajime. Scale 1/144.

Gundam GFFMC #1006 RX-0 Unicorn Gundam

2010-12-02T19:27:00.022+08:00

As you may know, Bandai offers Fix Figuration line with variation in its series. The Gundam Fix Figuration(GFF), Gundam Fix Figuration Next Generation(GFFN) and the Gundam Fix Figuration Metal Composite(GFFMC). GFF and GFFN usually comes in 1/144 scale while 1/100 scale for GFFMC line. Unicorn Gundam have became so famous recently it is produced in a number of variations: Robot Damashii, HG, MG, HCM Pro, GFFN, GFFMC.

It was months back since I first laid my eyes on this gorgeous GFFMC, it is a total masterpiece! But at a hefty cost: 18,000 yen(that's around RM680). So after some ~~frivolous~~ serious consideration, Jing and I finally stopped by Graffiti Toys in Berjaya Times Square to take a look. Alas, RM630. I asked the shop owner if the price could be reduced further, after a brief scanning and checking with his computer, he offered RM620. Another moment passed... And I decided to buy it! Now its the ~~gem~~ Unicorn of my collection! The funny thing is when I inspected the GFFMC, the shop keeper positively stared at the Gundam in awe, if not comical XD 'the metallic paint, wow... the meticulous printings', he said. Oh, did I forget to mention that the GFFMC series have most of it joints made of metal die-cast, pure solidity and give me a good sturdy feel holding it in my hands. This RX-0 Unicorn Gundam is just pure awesome, will definitely grab Banshee is there's a release XD

The box!

The manual to transform it into NT-D Destroy Mode:

Base, extra hands and the beam gattling guns :D

Behold, GFFMC RX-0 Unicorn Gundam!

Unicorn Mode:

Took me almost an hour to transform it into NT-D Destroy mode =.=

Nendoroid Kaito

2010-12-02T18:44:00.006+08:00

As soon as Jing heard there's a rerun of Kaito, she immediately placed an order for it. After some delay and complications, we finally collected it personally at Pandan Indah branch SkyNet :D If I remember correctly, Jing now have Nendoroid Miku Hatsune, Kagimine Len, Kagimine Rin, Luka Megurine and Kaito. A full set of the serieis, I guess?

Jing ~~reluctantly~~ generously lend me her Kaito for a photoshooting session ><

Kaito, peacefully eating his ice cream:

Full Armor Unicorn Gundam came and took away Kaito's ice cream to enjoy it himself:

Kaito raged!

Kaito intends to punch Full Armor Unicorn Gundam but unfortunately Kaito is out of his league :(

Gundam GFFN #0041 MSZ-008 Z II

2010-11-24T22:38:00.015+08:00

I'm(Silverfire) kinda a vet in Lowyat.NET, and if you don't know what it is, you should sign up. Browsed through the Gundam thread and found out there's a Autumn Sales on HLJ and eventually ~~searched for~~ spotted Gundam GFFN MSZ-008 Z II for sale at 60% off the original price. So ~~without~~ after thinking, I bought it and have it shipped to me via EMS. It was shipped from Japan to me last Friday(19th Nov 2010) and reached me yesterday on Tuesday(23rd Nov 2010). That's FAST! Z II is nothing special in its MS mode so I have it transformed to Wave Rider Mode without applying the extra decals given. Enjoy the pictures :D

Produced by Kazumi Fujita & Katoki Hajime. Scale 1/144.

Gundam MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam Ver Ka

2010-11-16T21:23:00.006+08:00

I acquired this MG end of last year, took me a week or more to assembled it. The parts were just so complicated :x Copied this blog entry from my outmoded blog =.=

Applied some stickers on the shield... Hope you guys like it!

Spotlight:

The Trio(from left, Avalanche Exia, Unicorn Gundam, Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu):

Beam saber:

Dual wield with shield on back:

OK! This is a real discovery to me... And I guess to many others too. I've read many reviews about Unicorn Gundam and no one seem to mention that the red-coloured parts are actually UV reactive!

I got my 'NuclearTec Blue UV Reactive Acrylic Panel with Celestial Being logo engraved' and 'NuclearTec UV CCFL' yesterday. Set them up with an extra PSU and after some adjustment, I see my Unicorn glowing!

Spoiler:

Uhhh... Click to enlarge!

And... This is how it works:

Nendoroid Saber Super Movable Edition

2010-11-16T20:42:00.008+08:00

AFAX came to Singapore last weekend and guess what? Jing and I actually went there! It was a really ~~tiring~~ fun experience to travel for such an cute event XD The very first step into the exhibition hall we saw Gundam and next to it a booth selling PVC figures and, by that, of course it includes Nendoroids. I saw this Saber selling at SGD58, ~~without~~ after converting to MYR I bought it straight off without browsing through other shops. Luckily it was the cheapest around :D

Overall, this Nendoroid's articulation is superb except the part that its too loose on the joins, her arms keep falling off =.= And sorry for the part that Saber's neck not pushed in entirely :x I didn't notice it ><

Nendoroid Ciel Phantomhive

2010-11-09T23:18:00.005+08:00

Finally, Ciel cleared M'sia customs and is now readily available to collect! Jing and I went and collect both Sebastian and Ciel for Jing's friend and brother respectively. I ~~stole~~ borrowed his brother's Ciel for a photoshooting session with my Nendoroid Snow Miku :D

Ciel is sitting there and ~~sulking~~ relaxing

Snow Miku's coming and wanna give Ciel a great warm hug XD

Ewww, what? A hug? No! Go away! I no need no hugs from anyone! ~~Maybe Sebastian?~~

Bah! Leave me alone! Ish! Sebastian, where are you!?

Nendoroid Yui Hirasawa

2010-10-05T21:48:00.005+08:00

If you've read RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam entry then you will know how this Nendoroid come into Jing's possession. For those who didn't, however, please read the stated blog entry ~~I'm just too lazy to repeat the story again here~~ but I'm more than glad to repeat the story again XD Jing acquired it when she went to XL-Shop to collect her Bakemonogatari Puchi Set #3 when she accidentally saw it on the rack. The exact same time I secure my own set of the Fix Figuration #0044 :D
I ~~stole~~ borrowed her Yui for a photoshoot session :P Not the best of quality but definitely still candy to the eyes ><

Peace ^^

Gundam GFFN #0044 RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam

2010-10-05T21:29:00.012+08:00

Just yesterday, 4th of October 2010, I went to Times Square with Jing to collect her puchi set. She placed a preorder for Bakemonogatari Puchi Set #3. Well... Upon stepping into the shop(XL-Shop), something totally awesome caught my eyes and I went all hyper asking Jing to get it for me XD Its the RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam Fix Figuration. It is priced at RM298 so we weren't so sure about it. So we decided to just collect the puchi set then we walked round the shop, then Jing saw Nendoroid Yui Hirasawa! Apparently Jing's sister placed an order for it too but she did not receive any phone calls asking her to pick it up so we collected it as well. After spending so much we thought maybe we can get at least a slight discount for the Fix Figuration so went for it. The shopkeeper said RM290, not what we hoped for but we understand that he cannot go any lower than that. So I made up my mind and grab it anyway XD

Open box ><

Up close with RX-0 :D

Can you see the stand beneath the shield?

Black Rock Shooter 1/8 Figure from Good Smile Company

2010-10-03T19:58:00.001+08:00

Just browsing through random POs today and I saw this gorgeous 1/8 BRS figure. It costs at a hefty ~RM420. I'm sure most of the BRS fans out there would like to own this figure but judging the price, I guess one must consider the thickness of one's wallet before deciding to get one of these >.<
