That beautiful Smokey Quartz!

Smokey quartz is a brown to black semi-precious variety of quartz. The very dark brown to black opaque variety, such as what we have, is known as morion. Known as a grounding crystal, smokey quartz is also an
excellent stone for removing negativity, elevating moods and relieving depression among other things.

In chakra healing smokey quartz is associated with the root (base) chakra in which it is known to help purify and stimulate. In certain circles it is believed that keeping a piece of smokey quartz under your pillow while you sleep will help in correctly remembering and interpreting the meaning of your dreams. Also, in ancient times, during the 12th century in China, flat panes of smokey quartz were often used as a form of sunglasses.

It’s the dawn of a new era. 2012 is the year that our earth and all it beholds will change. Crystal Wand Creations * Stained Glass * Jewelry * Metaphysical will be a part of that change. From here forward this page, the Crystal Wand Designs page, will be dedicated to all things Crystal Wand Creations holds dear. We will let you know about all the beautiful new arrivals we have in stock, and all of those that are arriving daily. We will post informative articles on crystals, beads, books, candles, soaps, and you name it. If we carry it in our shop, we will eventually have a write-up about it, where it comes from, and what its uses are.

As our website store gradually comes more online you will be able to watch it grow to include products we hold dear, and are excited to be able to offer you. We will discuss these products, what's so special about them and why we carry them. And as always, if there is ever any product that we carry in our shop and not on our website store that you want to buy, just contact us and we will be glad to assist you.

Well it's no surprise to many folks that after a number of years running the creative roads of art shows, festivals, fairs and farmer's markets that Crystal Wand Creations, a.k.a. "CWC", has finally decided to slow down and open our own brick and mortar store front! Wait! Did I say 'slow down'?! Well actually, nothing has been slow about our new shop in downtown Kokomo, Indiana. The shipments of new products keep arriving weekly and the customers keep returning to check out all the new goods for sale. So if you're looking for that new place to shop for one-of-a-kind stained glass, jewelry or metaphysical items, then look no further.
