Back in August, I was contacted by Epson to see if I would like to try out their Stylus Photo R2000 Inkjet Printer.  This is a wide format printer that prints up to 13″ wide, so of course I said yes! However, soon after it arrived, we found out we were moving & my new printer had to sit in storage for the next 6 months.  I was finally able to break it out & play around with it & I cannot begin to tell you how much I LOVE this printer!  I have found so many fun projects I can make with it & I absolutely love the quality!  I can’t wait to share my projects with you below.  I will be posting about each of these projects in more detail later on this summer….

The paper I used for the gift bags & wrapping paper is Epson’s 13×19 Presentation Paper Matte. This is a thinner paper which is why it is perfect for bending & folding.  I also used this paper for the party hats, notebooks, & book covers below.  The colors printed out beautifully!  I absolutely love all the fun things I can do with this paper!  It comes out to about 30 cents a sheet, so its very affordable as well!

As I mentioned above I used the Epson’s 13×19 Presentation Paper Matte for this project & was able to fit 2 party hats on each 13×19 paper. Aren’t these so fun?! I can’t wait to use these for my daughter’s birthday party!

I am loving these 13×19 posters!  I designed the one on the left for my girls’ room & you can download the design on the right (for free!) from Caravan Shoppe. The paper I used for these posters is Epson’s 13×19 Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte. This paper prints out beautifully!!!  The paper is heavy so it’s great for posters & matte prints. It comes out to just under a dollar per page, so it’s also very affordable….and worth every penny!

For this project I used the Mead Black Journal.  I love this notebook because there is a space at top for drawing & then journaling lines for writing.  I knew this would be perfect for my daughter who loves to both draw & write stories.  She was so excited about the cute cover I made for her & has been drawing & writing in it every day.  She said this is one of her favorite journals she’s ever had!  The paper I used is Epson’s 13×19 Presentation Paper Matte.

I love wrapping the book that I’m currently reading in bright colors & patterns!  Plus, they look really cute when they’re on the book shelf too. The paper I used is Epson’s 13×19 Presentation Paper Matte.

As a digital scrapbooker, I love being able to print out my pages immediately after I finish them.  Before I got this printer, I very rarely had my pages printed.  Now I get to enjoy them immediately!  The colors & photos are beautiful!  The only colors that I seem to have trouble with are bright, almost neon colors…especially yellow.  They tend to print out duller than on my screen & the yellow almost looks golden.  So for prints with those colors (like on my planner), I use my Kodak printer.  But, as you can see from the layouts above, the colors print bold, beautiful, & vibrant!  I’ve only printed one page, out of about 50, that I didn’t like the way the yellow looked…all the other pages & colors have looked amazing! If you’re a photographer and/or digital scrapbooker, you won’t be disappointed! Epson has 12×12 scrapbook paper which prints well, but I prefer using either the 13×19 Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte (that I used above for posters), or Epson’s 13×19 Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster.  They both look amazing!  If you’re concerned about cost, I would stick with the Matte paper because it is about half the cost & I really have a hard time telling the difference.

These 6×12 pages can be used with Becky Higgins’ Project Life 6×12 page protector’s.  I love this size & I love the fact that I can print out three layouts on single sheet of paper!  The pictures in these PL layouts are used courtesy of Charla from CharlaAnne.typepad.com.  If you haven’t seen her blog, you need to! The way she captures her kids’ childhood through photographs is so inspiring…I adore her.

The designs in this 12×12 Project Life spread are from my Happy Christmas Collection that I designed in collaboration with my good friend Kristina Proffitt. I love using my Epson printer to print out pictures & 3×4 cards for Project Life!  The Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte is easy to write on, so it’s great for printing journaling cards!

Okay, this has to be one of my favorite projects ever! I wanted to try out Epson’s Exhibition Canvas Matte 13×20 Roll & I got the idea to print out digital scrapbook paper in the form of pennants for a banner for Valentine’s day.  The colors were gorgeous & it looked so cute in my girls’ room!  I can’t wait to print some more banners for birthday parties & holidays…so fun!

For my final project, I also used Epson’s Exhibition Canvas Matte 13×20 Roll & printed out a large picture of my family.  It’s hard to see from this picture, but the canvas texture is beautiful. I love the way it turned out & it was a fraction of what it would have cost me to order a canvas print.

If you’ve been thinking about buying a new printer, I highly recommend the Stylus Photo R2000 Inkjet Printer from EPSON. As you can see, there is no limit to the number of beautiful, high quality projects you can create with it! Also, on one more note, I have found that the set of ink cartridges have lasted me through a TON of printing.  I’ve been printing like crazy over the past couple of months & I just recently had to start replacing ink cartridges.  Not only did I print all of the projects above, but countless other pages & projects have been printed as well.  Make sure to read all the instructions before you set up your new printer to get the most out of your ink & paper!  I hope you’ve been inspired by the projects I’ve posted above.
