<p><span style="font-size: small;">Back in August, I was contacted by Epson to see if I would like to try out their </span><a style="font-size: small;" href="http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/jsp/Product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&amp;sku=C11CB35201">Stylus Photo R2000 Inkjet Printer</a><span style="font-size: small;">.  This is a wide format printer that prints up to 13&#8243; wide, so of course I said yes! However, soon after it arrived, we found out we were moving &amp; my new printer had to sit in storage for the next 6 months.  I was finally able to break it out &amp; play around with it &amp; I cannot begin to tell you how much I LOVE this printer!  I have found so many fun projects I can make with it &amp; I absolutely love the quality!  I can’t wait to share my projects with you below.  I will be posting about each of these projects in more detail later on this summer&#8230;.</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5147" title="Epson_BlogPost_01_GiftWrap" src="http://www.crystalwilkerson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Epson_BlogPost_01_GiftWrap.png" alt="" width="600" height="1130" /></p>
<p>The paper I used for the gift bags &amp; wrapping paper is <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Epson-Presentation-Inches-Sheets-S041069/dp/B00004Z6HO/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367944169&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=epson+13x19+paper">Epson&#8217;s 13&#215;19 Presentation Paper Matte</a>. This is a thinner paper which is why it is perfect for bending &amp; folding.  I also used this paper for the party hats, notebooks, &amp; book covers below.  The colors printed out beautifully!  I absolutely love all the fun things I can do with this paper!  It comes out to about 30 cents a sheet, so its very affordable as well!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5149" title="Epson_BlogPost_02_PartyHats" src="http://www.crystalwilkerson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Epson_BlogPost_02_PartyHats.png" alt="" width="598" height="384" /></p>
<p>As I mentioned above I used the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Epson-Presentation-Inches-Sheets-S041069/dp/B00004Z6HO/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367944169&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=epson+13x19+paper">Epson&#8217;s 13&#215;19 Presentation Paper Matte</a> for this project &amp; was able to fit 2 party hats on each 13&#215;19 paper. Aren&#8217;t these so fun?! I can&#8217;t wait to use these for my daughter&#8217;s birthday party!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5150" title="Epson_BlogPost_03_Posters" src="http://www.crystalwilkerson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Epson_BlogPost_03_Posters.png" alt="" width="600" height="462" /></p>
<p>I am loving these 13&#215;19 posters!  I designed the one on the left for my girls&#8217; room &amp; you can download the design on the right (for free!) from <a href="http://www.caravanshoppe.com/product/braver-stronger-smarter-print/">Caravan Shoppe</a>. The paper I used for these posters is <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Epson-Premium-Presentation-Inches-S041339/dp/B00004Z6XJ/ref=sr_1_3?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367944169&amp;sr=1-3&amp;keywords=epson+13x19+paper">Epson&#8217;s 13&#215;19 Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte</a>. This paper prints out beautifully!!!  The paper is heavy so it&#8217;s great for posters &amp; matte prints. It comes out to just under a dollar per page, so it&#8217;s also very affordable&#8230;.and worth every penny!</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5153" title="Epson_BlogPost_04_NotebookCovers" src="http://www.crystalwilkerson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Epson_BlogPost_04_NotebookCovers1.png" alt="" width="600" height="1218" /></p>
<p>For this project I used the <a href="http://www.discountofficeitems.com/school-supplies/student-teacher-supplies/basic-school-supplies/notebooks/mead-square-deal-black-marble-journal/p22762.html?ref=pla&amp;source=pla&amp;utm_medium=shopping_engine&amp;utm_source=pla&amp;gclid=CLyX0OjDhLcCFeU5Qgod1A4AKw">Mead Black Journal</a>.  I love this notebook because there is a space at top for drawing &amp; then journaling lines for writing.  I knew this would be perfect for my daughter who loves to both draw &amp; write stories.  She was so excited about the cute cover I made for her &amp; has been drawing &amp; writing in it every day.  She said this is one of her favorite journals she&#8217;s ever had!  The paper I used is <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Epson-Presentation-Inches-Sheets-S041069/dp/B00004Z6HO/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367944169&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=epson+13x19+paper">Epson&#8217;s 13&#215;19 Presentation Paper Matte</a>.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5154" title="Epson_BlogPost_05_BookCovers" src="http://www.crystalwilkerson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Epson_BlogPost_05_BookCovers.png" alt="" width="600" height="1226" /></p>
<p>I love wrapping the book that I&#8217;m currently reading in bright colors &amp; patterns!  Plus, they look really cute when they&#8217;re on the book shelf too. The paper I used is <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Epson-Presentation-Inches-Sheets-S041069/dp/B00004Z6HO/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367944169&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=epson+13x19+paper">Epson&#8217;s 13&#215;19 Presentation Paper Matte</a>.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5145" title="Epson_BlogPost_06_ScrapbookLayouts" src="http://www.crystalwilkerson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Epson_BlogPost_06_ScrapbookLayouts.png" alt="" width="600" height="1196" /></p>
<p>As a digital scrapbooker, I love being able to print out my pages immediately after I finish them.  Before I got this printer, I very rarely had my pages printed.  Now I get to enjoy them immediately!  The colors &amp; photos are beautiful!  The only colors that I seem to have trouble with are bright, almost neon colors&#8230;especially yellow.  They tend to print out duller than on my screen &amp; the yellow almost looks golden.  So for prints with those colors (like on my planner), I use my Kodak printer.  But, as you can see from the layouts above, the colors print bold, beautiful, &amp; vibrant!  I&#8217;ve only printed one page, out of about 50, that I didn&#8217;t like the way the yellow looked&#8230;all the other pages &amp; colors have looked amazing! If you&#8217;re a photographer and/or digital scrapbooker, you won&#8217;t be disappointed! Epson has <a href="http://www.amazon.com/EPSON-paper-premierart-scrapbook-sheets/dp/B0099PAP9S/ref=sr_1_6?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367949517&amp;sr=1-6&amp;keywords=epson+12x12+scrapbook+paper">12&#215;12 scrapbook paper</a> which prints well, but I prefer using either the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Epson-Premium-Presentation-Inches-S041339/dp/B00004Z6XJ/ref=sr_1_3?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367944169&amp;sr=1-3&amp;keywords=epson+13x19+paper">13&#215;19 Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte</a> (that I used above for posters), or Epson&#8217;s <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Epson-Premium-Presentation-Inches-S041339/dp/B00004Z6XJ/ref=sr_1_3?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367944169&amp;sr=1-3&amp;keywords=epson+13x19+paper">13&#215;19 Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster</a>.  They both look amazing!  If you&#8217;re concerned about cost, I would stick with the Matte paper because it is about half the cost &amp; I really have a hard time telling the difference.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5200" title="Epson_BlogPost_07_ProjectLife_01" src="http://www.crystalwilkerson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Epson_BlogPost_07_ProjectLife_01.png" alt="" width="600" height="871" /></p>
<p>These 6&#215;12 pages can be used with <a href="http://www.amazon.com/6-x-12-Page-Protectors/dp/B005TYO8WI">Becky Higgins&#8217; Project Life 6&#215;12 page protector&#8217;s</a>.  I love this size &amp; I love the fact that I can print out three layouts on single sheet of paper!  The pictures in these PL layouts are used courtesy of Charla from <a href="http://charlaanne.typepad.com/">CharlaAnne.typepad.com</a>.  If you haven&#8217;t seen her blog, you need to! The way she captures her kids&#8217; childhood through photographs is so inspiring&#8230;I adore her.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5201" title="Epson_BlogPost_07_ProjectLife_02" src="http://www.crystalwilkerson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Epson_BlogPost_07_ProjectLife_02.png" alt="" width="600" height="299" /></p>
<p>The designs in this 12&#215;12 Project Life spread are from my <a href="http://crystalwilkerson.com/digital/index.php/all-products/happy-christmas-printables-by-crystal-wilkerson-kristina-proffitt.html">Happy Christmas Collection</a> that I designed in collaboration with my good friend <a href="http://www.one-happy-mama.com/">Kristina Proffitt</a>. I love using my Epson printer to print out pictures &amp; 3&#215;4 cards for Project Life!  The <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Epson-Premium-Presentation-Inches-S041339/dp/B00004Z6XJ/ref=sr_1_3?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367944169&amp;sr=1-3&amp;keywords=epson+13x19+paper">Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte</a> is easy to write on, so it&#8217;s great for printing journaling cards!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5196" title="Epson_BlogPost_08_CanvasBanners" src="http://www.crystalwilkerson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Epson_BlogPost_08_CanvasBanners.png" alt="" width="600" height="467" /></p>
<p>Okay, this has to be one of my favorite projects ever! I wanted to try out <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Epson-Exhibition-Canvas-Matte-Roll/dp/B004MSZI44/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367963329&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=epson+canvas+roll">Epson&#8217;s Exhibition Canvas Matte 13&#215;20 Roll</a> &amp; I got the idea to print out digital scrapbook paper in the form of pennants for a banner for Valentine&#8217;s day.  The colors were gorgeous &amp; it looked so cute in my girls&#8217; room!  I can&#8217;t wait to print some more banners for birthday parties &amp; holidays&#8230;so fun!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5203" title="Epson_BlogPost_09_CanvasPrints" src="http://www.crystalwilkerson.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Epson_BlogPost_09_CanvasPrints.png" alt="" width="600" height="410" /></p>
<p>For my final project, I also used <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Epson-Exhibition-Canvas-Matte-Roll/dp/B004MSZI44/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1367963329&amp;sr=1-1&amp;keywords=epson+canvas+roll">Epson&#8217;s Exhibition Canvas Matte 13&#215;20 Roll</a> &amp; printed out a large picture of my family.  It&#8217;s hard to see from this picture, but the canvas texture is beautiful. I love the way it turned out &amp; it was a fraction of what it would have cost me to order a canvas print.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you&#8217;ve been thinking about buying a new printer, I highly recommend the <a href="http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/jsp/Product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&amp;sku=C11CB35201">Stylus Photo R2000 Inkjet Printer</a> from EPSON. As you can see, there is no limit to the number of beautiful, high quality projects you can create with it! Also, on one more note, I have found that the set of ink cartridges have lasted me through a TON of printing.  I&#8217;ve been printing like crazy over the past couple of months &amp; I just recently had to start replacing ink cartridges.  Not only did I print all of the projects above, but countless other pages &amp; projects have been printed as well.  Make sure to read all the instructions before you set up your new printer to get the most out of your ink &amp; paper!  I hope you&#8217;ve been inspired by the projects I&#8217;ve posted above. Thanks for stopping by!</p>
