Dear Guardian Angel,

I know we haven’t met yet. I don’t even know if you exist or not. I don’t know what bond we share. But this is a letter to convince myself that you are there. Somewhere. And one day we’ll find each other, our paths will cross, and we’ll identify each other right away.

I know you’d be with me at my worst. I know you’d hold me when I fall. I know you’d accept me for what I am (which by the way is a total mess). I know that no matter how hard I try to show you the door, you’ll end up coming back. Every time. ‘Cuz you’d know that after all of that, in the end, I’d need your shoulder to bawl my eyes out. I know you’d handle all my mistakes without judging me even once.

I know that I’d be a problem sometimes but you’d never make me feel like one. I know I’d be too much at times but you’d convince me that it’s normal. I know you’ll be there in a heartbeat if I’d call you in the middle of the night. I know you’d sense when I need my space to calm down and when I’d need a bear hug to finally be able to vent it all out. I know I’m gonna hurt you more than I’d make you happy but you’ll always forgive me knowing it was my anger speaking.

You’d love me a little more on days I’d find my belief on love shaking. You’d care about me a little more on days my pretentious strong heart shrinks to one little emotionally wrecked stone. You’d trust me a little extra on days I’d lose faith in me.

You might not be a perfect person but for me you’d be one. You might not be omnipotent but for me you’d be one. You might be no God but for me you’d be one… watching over me all the time, caressing my little heart all the time, punishing me on days I refuse to listen, pushing me on days I feel demotivated, holding me on days I’d fall apart. For me you’d be an angel who’d adore me like no one else.

I don’t know if you’re too good to be true but if you exist, know that I manifest you... each day.

Isn’t it funny how we feel we vibe with someone really well but all the while we never realize the infinity that they are holding in within themselves? Yes, we sure do know them so dang well but that’s not the point. The question is how much do we understand them? How much do we hear their unsaid problems, answer their unasked questions, or see their unseen tears?

I don’t know how you manage to do it but hey, I want you to know that there’s no one stronger than y’all and I am so incredibly proud of you. I want you to know that you’re the most beautiful and amazing broken person out there:)

It is weird how no one can understand “feelings”. It is like we want people to know what we’re going through but cannot frame the right sentences to explain it. Or maybe somehow, we did find the right words but they end up being not right enough for them to understand. The thing is we ourselves don’t actually know what’s harder- the need to explain everything or the need to explain everything right. Something about vulnerability is very different. It just makes you run out of thoughts, ideas, and focus. All it leaves you with is that constant feeling of fear and not to forget, insecurities. Fear of anything and everything and insecurities that knows no limits. To top it all what confuses us more is that feeling of numbness that starts to kick in; the feeling where we cannot decide if at all we wanna talk to people and let it all go or just stay on our own and let things sink in. We might break into million different pieces, shatter into bits but we never forget to guard that unguarded self. We make sure to cry when no one’s watching, we make sure to scream in the void, we make sure to keep our walls up all the time. No wonder we’re the reason for our worsened condition.

It is, no doubt, very difficult to trust people with your vulnerable side. A person already crushed and defeated by life would know it better than anyone else. But you do realize that people who genuinely care for you, need you and love you would never make you feel that it’s normal or simple enough for you to get over it, right? You need to realize that there’s a difference between trusting everyone and trusting just the right ones. Now, if this got you wondering about how to know if someone actually cares or just does that for the sake of it, then my friend, I need you to know that words can be faked but actions… never! People’s actions say everything about them, their reactions to your problems is everything that you’d ever need to know about them. And still, if you feel like you cannot handle everything that’s happening around you, or it is getting too much for you to deal with or you’re thinking to quit, then how about you answer some of my questions:

Even after everything that life has put you through, did you forget that you’re still surviving? After everything you’ve gone through, every wrong that life and people have done to you, did you forget about that strength that’s still keeping you intact? Even after being brutally smashed by life, did you forget that you’re still living on that one ray of trust, hoping that tomorrow might be better than today? After so many times when you’ve wished to quit, did you forget that today you’re still standing tall?

All I’m saying is that you’ve been helpless before, you’ve been knocked down by life before, been broken to bits before, but how much of it has left you thinking that “this is the end”? Aren’t you still hanging in and instead of running away, facing all your issues? Aren’t you still radiating kindness and strength looking back at everything that you’ve survived through?

Yes, you might have left and lost your old self behind somewhere searching for happiness, but remember life is always about new beginnings. Nothing remains constant, neither you nor the situation. If today it seems like everything has come to an end, remind yourself that this earth is still round and apparently, has no end to it. To reach to that bright sunny side of it, you’d need to go through the cold dark nights and remember, it won’t take forever. You just have less than a mile to go to reach your destination, to your dream life. It won’t take you long enough to make all your dreams come true; touch and hug them and let them become a part of your life forever. But for all this to happen, you just need to remind yourself of your strength, of everything that you’ve been through and still survived, of every fear that you’ve overcome, of every situation you thought to quit but instead conquered.

Advice to my younger self

“She is way more beautiful than me”.
“She’s got all those cool guys surrounding her”.
“I am ugly, underconfident, weird and nobody likes me”.

Growing up, many such negative thoughts would affect my mental peace. I always used to feel insecure about the fact that people of the same age as me belonged to that “cool group” while I was nowhere close to them. Basically,

I compared.
I chose them over me.
I let that thought ruin my peace.

I would often find myself feeling alone and ignored and sometimes, I played the role of victim for many bullies out there. Life was tough. My tears used to put me to bed every freaking night. I was firm at my belief that “I SUCKED”! Least did I know that better days were yet to knock at my door.

You know how they say, “you learn over time”? Well, trust me you do! I saw miracles happening. I saw myself changing over time, facing problems that were toughening me, every damn day. I saw situations changing, people changing. The same bullies were now being bullied. I saw myself prioritising myself, standing for my respect and dignity. That’s how I realised how important it is to fake it till you make it!

If there’s any major advice that I’d wanna give to my younger self, it would always be to never show up with your insecurities. People exactly know how to use them against you and bring you down to your knees. And that you’re amazing just the way you are. Don’t worry, life is about to change for you, drastically. It would not be the same always.

My Story...

“And suddenly, I was witnessing my brain going numb. I couldn’t understand what was happening to me. With time, I stopped eating much, talking, enjoying life and all I did was sleep…because that was my ultimate escape…”

People take mental health for granted. Just because the pain isn’t visible to their naked eyes, they feel it’s just some sort of stress. Here begins my story of depression which,

- was worsened because of negligence

- made no sense to others because of my lack of communication

- was treated as “no big deal”.

Life’s too short to decide about what’s important to focus on and what’s not, right? We make certain things our priorities and start to work and schedule our lives accordingly. But amidst all of this, we somewhere forget about ourselves. We let loose of all the precious elements that make us, us. The same was the case with me. Every time I got attached to certain people, I gave my 100% to them without even saving 1% for myself. Whenever I got caught up with things, I spent all my time on them without even devoting one second of my time to myself. There was nothing in this world that reminded me of my own existence until one fine day, I realised that it was too late to find myself again...

I woke up every day with no desire to wake up. People I used to love didn’t matter anymore. My own home felt like that of a stranger’s. I was devastated. In every way possible. And the fact that I couldn’t figure out what was wrong made it even worse. I wanted to talk about my feelings but could never find the right words. I wanted to blame society but couldn’t understand ‘WHY’. Infinite questions were clouding my mind but at the same time, there were none. People around me could observe me changing. They were witnessing a fun-loving human turning into a lifeless body. I used to find myself sitting in a dark room, alone with my blank mind. I used to find myself tearing up for no reason, feeling scared for no reason, feeling distant for no reason. Distant… not only from people around me but distant… from my own self.

The thought that it could be depression never crossed my mind until one day my parents took me to a therapist. A therapist who changed my life, forever. A lady who brought me back to life, who dragged me out of that dark room and made me believe in colours again, a lady who became the answer to all my questions. Writing all this today still sends infinite chills down my spine. The only difference is that the girl who’s being talked about was a dark, vulnerable, wrecked soul and the girl writing all this today, believes in the magic of curing, healing and rediscovering one’s own self.

Conclusion: Give some time to yourself every day to sync your life with happiness. If there’s a time when you find yourself in a web of unknown reasons of sadness, show up and talk! Don’t wait until it’s too late to find your old self back. Show this world that there's no bigger power than one’s will power to fight back, irrespective of how broken they are… irrespective of how damaged they are!

It’s all about the consequences

The thing is that we easily surrender. We give in to our problems. We make our minds believe that we are weak, and are not worth it. We find peace in running away from difficulties than facing them. Because why not?

I believe that the majority of our problems arise from procrastination to deal with them. We take them for granted until they turn into an unsolvable disaster. No doubt, every one of us wants to live an unproblematic, simple life but how many of us dare to get deeply involved in our shit to find out the actual cause of it all?

Well, I don’t see even one person in my vicinity. This is where we all go wrong. This is why we never tend to learn from our mistakes and unknowingly repeat them, time and again. We never care to dig deep into the roots. We just pluck out that one ugly leaf that’s bothering us, which is never the solution.

Life can be made simpler just by keeping in mind the aftereffects/ consequences of the stuff that we do. But on the contrary, all we focus on is the fun beneath that.

Let’s take drug addicts as an example. Maximum people/ teenagers start consuming drugs just for fun or to fit into the so-called “cool society” or to get a bit of relief from the pain that they are going through. But how many predict/ think of the consequences before going ahead with the same?

How easy is it for us to find escapes, right?

We don’t wanna face a situation, we hide. We don’t wanna be in our present, we dream. We don’t wanna suffer, we think of ending our lives. We don’t even bother to think about the people that are affected by the decisions we make; either for ourselves or for others. All we think of is situations that would provide us with comfort, us an escape, us that luxury of not feeling anything. In all of this, we forget the people who contribute so much to making our lives a little better to survive.

Conclusion: ‘‘We’’ decide the people, things, animals, emotions that we wanna feel connected and close to.

We love; we get hurt.

We risk; we witness the consequences.

We choose the path; we get to walk on it.

And this, my friend, has nothing to do with the fate that you were born with or destiny that you are carrying along with yourself throughout.

In this world full of uncertainties, each one of us wants to give our best to make our relationships a success, right? Unknowingly, we are killing the person that we originally are and the same person that our significant other fell in love with. We tend to unlearn all the notions that originally belonged to us, by just thinking that we’re making an effort to keep that particular relationship going smoothly. But in reality, this is not the case. We don’t realise when subconsciously we start to feel caged, toxic and uncomfortable. If you feel that the other person needs some time to himself/ herself, then rather than making a mountain of a molehill, try walking in their shoes and leave them alone for some time. If you continuously try to poke your nose in their lives, thinking that you’re helping, then trust me friends, that isn’t going to help a bit. Rather it tends to make a relationship even more toxic and vulnerable. Then, you need to realise that the other person is not in that state of mind to understand your point of view and nor is he obliged to do so.

We need to understand that no matter how long we are together with the other person, they still are a wholly different individual, who have a life of their own, a different mindset of their own and at the end of the day deserve some time to their own. We need to normalise the fact that two people are working on a break, trying to figure out what they actually want and are rather not doing something behind each other’s back.

· Understanding is the key: We often hear people talking about some of the important aspects of a relationship, which include: honesty, care, loyalty, trust etc. But you know what is the most important element among all these? Somehow, I cannot seem to stress upon this point enough. In every relationship, one needs to respect the decisions that the other person is making and try to support them. And above it all, proudly see them fall and get back on their legs again.

Let’s just simplify it even more: Your mother wants to start a new business at the age of 40. You discuss with her about everything that it takes to start a brand-new business. Somehow you are not convinced with her decision. But she’s adamant on doing things her way and steps ahead in the direction of pursuing her dream. But over time, it looks like the business isn’t doing any good. Now here you got two options:

Ø Taunt/ mock her for her business’s fail.

Ø Proudly support her to get back in the spirit again/ encourage her to not lose hope.

You see, this is where the relationships come to a test. If you chose the first option, it would have led your mother to lose her trust in you and she would probably be disappointed. While on the contrary, when you opt for the second option, it would strengthen your relationship even more and both of you would end up in a happy space with a positive mindset.

This is one of the most common situations that can be witnessed in many relationships. Hence, it becomes of utmost importance for people to discuss the things that bother them. For a perfect relationship, both the people need to stand on a solid platform where there is not a single hole of insecurity. This is what makes a relationship a huge success.

· Fighting is okay but breaking heart isn’t: You can never find even a single relationship where there are no fights. But one should realise that there is always a certain way to contradict the other person’s opinion and convince them with yours. Positive criticism is one such way to show the mirror to the other person and still keep the vibe of the situation low-key. In the heat of the moment, many times, we tend to exceed our limits and start spitting crap, which makes the situations even worse. Hence, rather than making the other person understand our point, we start to prove to them that listening to us won’t lead them to anything better. Therefore, the point where you prove yourself to be a true partner is when you are boiling with anger but still somehow manage to keep those emotions buried to protect the other person’s heart.

But if by any chance you have disappointed them and are trying to get back to them, know that you’re gonna be back in their favorite's list. Just never feel that you’re not worth it or don’t deserve them because it’s the efforts that count and not the mistakes.

Falling Prey to Negativity!

Lately, I’ve been hearing this saying a lot which goes like: “One should feel everything and then let it all go”. Well, finding it cool and new and trendy, I started to believe and practice the same notion. Hence, I opened the door of my heart and started to absorb all my feelings… And by all, I mean ALL!

I started to feel every positive and negative emotion that came my way to neutralize all of the chaos in my life and then…

I fell prey to depression. I fell prey to negativity. I surrendered.

I successfully passed the challenge of “absorbing it all” but when it came to “let it all go”, I couldn’t. I just couldn’t. All that negativity that I had been sucking in throughout had left no place in my body to breathe. I was so overwhelmed with all of it that I could never realize that I was bleeding negativity, I was breathing negativity.

Well, so here comes the topic of today’s blog: Falling prey to negativity.

The fact that I allowed negativity to come near me in the first place was the prime blunder, let alone the fact of absorbing it. And not to mention, before this, I was never known to the concept of “Negativity Bias”. And if you just said: “what the heck is that now?”, don’t worry, a few minutes before we belonged to the same category. But now that I know, I am going to make things easier for you to understand.

So, negativity bias is basically an idea which states that: things of a more negative nature tend to have a greater impact on one’s mind when compared to positive things of the same intensity. There you go with the reason for your bend towards negativity. According to a study, it is proven that across a wide arrangement of psychological events, people are seen focusing more on the negative side when they attempt to connect to the world. Overthinkers, this one’s, especially for ya’ll: You think you are just being rational and are working on all prospects of the situation while what really happens is that you tend to focus more on the negative aspect and end up feeling anxious.

I wouldn’t say, it’s wrong of people to think about both sides of the coin. Because often it happens that we trade our problems with a reluctance to face them. And this is where everything starts messing up. We ignore, and it starts to get more and more toxic. A time comes when it settles to the bottom of our subconscious mind and we lose the capability to even realize that something is wrong. And by the time, it comes to us, things have already taken a different turn and we stand there feeling helpless. The fact is that we are all scared. Scared of what other people would think or say or react if we raise our voice against something, that we as a person, find offensive. But we never realize that we may have found an escape of that awkward situation at that point of time, for a temporary basis, but it’s permanent repercussions are yet to be faced. We grow our own insecurities, we let our mind self-doubt, we pave the way to “that shaky-wobbly version” of us in our own minds. We let negativity take control of our body all by ourselves and the fact that we blame society as an excuse makes it even worse. We don’t wanna agree that “we are bending towards negativity” and that “we are letting ourselves down”. Rather we play the ‘bully’ card. We play the ‘inhumanity’ card, which breaks the connect even more.

Is it so difficult to stand for your own body and provide it with the respect that it deserves? Is it so difficult to feel grateful for and protect that beautiful mind of yours which guides you towards light whenever you are juggling between that life-death ideas? Is it so tough to appreciate the continued tolerance of that innocent heart and soul which never complain even when they are coughing negativity?

A time like this strikes every person’s life where he/ she finds himself/ herself standing at the starting point of a tough crossroad. One cannot figure out which way to go and which way to avoid. Both the roads equally feel good to go but a sense of doubt also comes across mind at the same time. Now, what to do?
-Should I choose any of the roads and then see what happens next?
-Should I wait here at the starting point and start calculating the repercussions first?
-Or should I just believe in myself and pick the one my heart provokes me to?

-But my mind speaks logic too!

No doubts, infinity thoughts like these cross one’s mind at the moment and tend to distract one to make the right decision. Then what should one do?

We often dream about stuff we want at the moment, the stuff we vibe to or we find “cool” at one particular time. But the second some other “cool” stuff catches our eye; we wish to divert our dreams in that particular direction.

Two options:

Personal adult view: This doesn’t make sense to me, at all. Being a human with so much going on in mind all the times, how can one just put everything at stake and send it all for some temporary happiness?
Stupid me a few months ago: Do it already, if it makes you happy!

There are moments in life when one begins to think that everything is over. Like everything is just finished. It is that time in life when losing seems less difficult than winning, when giving up seems much easier than trying continuously, when everything is so vague to consider any glint of light on the other side.

People usually ask where are you lost? Why have you ghosted everybody? What’s wrong?

I say- I’m lost in a labyrinth of my own thoughts. I’ve ghosted the entire outer world to find peace within my actual inner world. Because when all other crack-heads would be bawling their eyes out to find satisfaction, my own world would be guiding me towards light.

Usually people crave for the unfinished stories. But aren’t they supposed to be that way? Isn’t it meant to be unfinished to call it unfinished? Still they want a freaking ending.

Now, where is the problem?

People fret about everything finishing but ultimately end up wanting a finish. I mean isn’t it weird that you want for something to happen and ultimately end up contradicting your own thoughts?

So, today’s blog is about an important topic: mental breakdown and how to cope with it.

You may have heard this thought a lot which says: “It is okay to not feel okay”.

But is it really?

Living in a world of denial and continuously thinking that it is okay won’t lead you anywhere. My personal opinion says that you need to comprehend this fact that it is not okay! That there is something wrong and you need to figure it out in order to fix it. Obviously, you are gonna find comfort sitting at a place and crying for no reason but does it really help? Do your tears really stop? Do you feel that weight off your head and do you all of a sudden go back to happy zone after sitting for a whole freaking day and weeping for no reason? Probably no.

Then what to do? Just think that it is okay and continue living that way?

No!

Every time you step out of your comfort zone to do something that your mind resists to do, is the time when you write your fate all by yourself. You push yourself against the direction of what you’re destined to do. Now this is something which makes you courageous! Accepting something which your body refuses and adapting to newness over something which your body already preserves, makes you come out of that aura of darkness.

The world of negativity and darkness leaves you at the starting point of two crossroads. Out of these two, one says to give up and let it all go, while the other suggests you to hang tight and that you are gonna ace it all after this. Some people out there choose the first and others dare to walk on the second. The main difference between the two is the will to find the closures to what they’ve already begun. Not that people who leave in the middle are any less on confidence or will power but they let failures channelise their way. They don’t focus on the art to learn from failures.

Things become so much easy and sorted the second you dip out of hard work, right? And maybe this relief helps you to remain happy for some time. But what after, say 6 months? How would you escape that time when you would ultimately have to start from the scratch all over again? You go back in time, make yourself vulnerable to situations, refrain yourself to begin by making excuses and ultimately end up sitting back.

The stress in your mind won’t expand its reach unless you allow it to. Forcing yourself and becoming a little harsh to yourself would never harm. Sometimes to just know what you want is not enough. It demands passion, consistency and courage. To just dream about something is not enough but a will to fulfil helps. To just think that it is gonna be okay won’t help but to make efforts to make it okay will.

YOU CAN’T SATISFY EVERYONE, BECAUSE:

· You’re not a bouquet of flowers

· Neither are you an ice cream

· Nor even a view of serene city lights.

You’re freaking a normal human being with all complicated emotions within you. You can feel anger and get upset. You can feel happy about something and still cry. You might not be able to express at one moment and in the other you might become way more expressive about your thoughts and ideas. You might be able to convince someone at a moment while feel totally at loss of words in the other. Now this doesn’t really make you weird. Nor does it signify that there is something wrong with you. Every other human on this earth goes through this gush of emotions. Many are capable to keep their point or justify their lives even while they’re suffering while many fail terribly at it.

We often perceive the other person to be lying when he/ she is seen shaking while describing any incident. We often perceive the other person to be untruthful when he/she is caught smiling while explaining a happening. In other words, we are way faster to judge people than to understand them. We often very easily believe the person with a poker face on to be true than a person who can’t control his/ her expressions. Moreover, as someone said it rightly that we only believe on things, which we want to believe on. We only see the perspective, which we wish to see. And we intentionally refrain ourselves to look at the other side of the coin.

Many times, our judgement comes out to be satisfactory while many other times, we tend to lose the people whom we are the closest to. But this is the way life works. Doesn’t it? No matter how close the person is to you; no matter how many years you’ve been together; no matter how well you know the unspoken words of each other, a time would surely come where that other half of you would feel unsatisfied with you and vice versa. Because there’s much more to pain. Felicity is fake, agony is real…

Well why just look at sufferings? Why not we hop to the cherishing moments? We always want our best people to remain just ours. We expect the world from them. We expect that we should be the first person to know about their every new happening. We should be the first one with whom they celebrate their happiness and share their grief.

Crux: We expect a lot!

But have you ever heard that expectations always hurt? Or have you ever heard about the concept of priority and that priority of each person changes with the change in time and place and situations? Not that the amount of love lessens but just the attention gets diverted. Then why do we blame people of changing altogether or being less attentive to us or hurting us? Isn’t it crystal clear at this point that we don’t care to care about other’s feelings? All we care about is our own selves, our emotions, our feelings, our situations. We often forget that it’s not just us who is living a life; others also have a life of their own, problems of their own, situations of their own… And hence, even after trying our hardest we fail at people. Either intentionally or unintentionally, both ways neither the other person we expect can keep us happy and nor we can keep the other person happy all the time.

C'mon! Let's just create memories.

Among a group of 20 people, there’ll still be at least 5 of them, with whom you never talked or interacted with, or never did any harm to them but they still would have a feeling of hatred towards you. And the same happens with you as well. Feel me? Yeah right. I know, I know that this creates another confusion about how any random person can hate me or why am I not able to give out any good vibe to another person? Hey! Didn’t you just find your answer in your question itself?

It’s the vibe!

We often feel some kind of energies around us in the form of vibes. You must have frequently seen people talking about the positive/ negative vibe whenever they enter a new house or while listening to any random song or while surfing pictures on pintrest. Yes, in the very same way, we people also emit some kind of vibes to the people around. You can yourself feel the connect with the right ones and a disconnect with the people who don’t get you vibing. Now when we come back to people who hate you for no reason, we conclusively say that it’s just the vibe until they’ve not fallen for any stupid rumour about you;) It’s not that you have some problem with you that the other feels disconnected to you but it’s just that everybody is not you! Everybody out there has a different sense of belonging. While you are an extrovert, many introverts wouldn’t feel you as their type which doesn’t anywhere mean that you don’t make sense to the rest of the world.

In other words, it’s just that the already imbibed thoughts in your sub conscious mind don’t wanna face the reality of your conscious mind which is not okay because you can’t always please yourself by living in an imaginary world. You will have to come out at a point and face the harsh realities and the day you become a pro at it would be the day that you’ll feel more than proud of your self and come out to be more ferocious than ever, loaded with the bundle of magic and glory…

Well, I guess that this calls for a serious discussion now! But with a promise of not making it that miserable for you to read:)

Many among us feel writing to be some kind of laborious task to do. Something which is dead boring and tiring at the same time. But have you ever tried to pen down your secrets onto a paper? Or have you ever tried to play with words? Or have you ever tried to frame your feelings into words? I’m assuming that many of you would’ve tried that for at least once in life while some might still be unsure of that process. No worries! I got you.

Some days, we often get that feeling of loneliness or anonymity. For example, while having a blast at a party, with your favourite people, suddenly you are filled with a gush of vacant sentiments. I guess that happens with every other person out there. There are days, when everything feels so obscure. We forget our aims and pasts. Its just some kind of blankness that clouds our minds. We don’t wanna speak to anybody; we feel least interested to join in any kind of fun. There’s a sudden emotion of which we ourselves are unknown of. We wanna make other people understand about that quick shift of mind but are unable to. Something inside us suddenly starts feeling vulnerable and powerless and all we portray is a deadpan us.

I’ve already discussed in my earlier blog about my theory of spheres , that we humans live in. Therefore, when I mentioned about the very first sphere which just consists us, I meant this very time when we just want to cut off from the entire world. Not because we really wish to do so but because that’s what our heart needs at the moment. Everybody of us needs some time with our own selves; to know what are we really up to, to update ourselves with our own progress or regress. And if that doesn’t happen the way it is supposed to be, then your heart and mind conspires against you by creating situations where you wouldn’t be able to sense the actual vibe. And this is where writing helps!!!

I remember the time of my life where I could literally sense myself changing. Can’t really say for good or for bad. But I remember myself to be a girl full of energy and expressions and then recollect memories of a girl transforming into someone stony and dense, with no sense of where life’s gonna take her now, where everything seemed so blurred out that, vision couldn’t bare struggling anymore. I wanted to talk about it, share it and describe my real self but every try turned out to be unsuccessful. I basically couldn’t. Not that the other person was so dumb to understand but because some feelings are just so hard to describe to somebody who’s not in that state of mind as you are. In simple words, pain’s just hard to explain. And a day came, where my mind reached its brim. I was tired of stocking up my own thoughts. And I simply decided to pen that down. I decided to face and know what am I really going through. Although I could simply just talk to myself but that could’ve got more and more confusing. Because thoughts in your mind is not always a straight up idea. They tend to contradict their own meanings. So, I decided to frame my words, that if I even contradict my beliefs, I’ve got them sorted and remembered to know what needs to be treated.

Heart, most of the time is inclined towards the feeling of love, always hoping for miracles, whereas mind would forever turn sides to practicality which is always harsh to accept. And when I say writing your pain or happiness isn’t that easy as you think, then I mean the amount of tears the writer sheds while scribbling those words. And if anybody still believes that writing wouldn’t heal or lessen the burden of your heart, then buddy you never were aware of the power of words!!!

Also, many people believe writing for not being their ‘cup of tea’. They don’t feel themselves skilled enough to frame the exact sentences. Well, who even wants your grammared emotions? Isn’t this the reason we call feelings feelings? What is then the motto behind a vibe which can just be felt? What is the aim behind a sensation that can just be sensed? Moreover, who says that whatever you write is meant to be published? Or is meant to be shown to others? That writing is yours. That defines you. That creates you. And what is even the point pouring your heart out to yourself if it was that convenient for you to share it with the world?

This lock down got my mind to think a lot. Introspect a lot. And now I am really curios to know if it’s just me being this inactive to think any random stuff to kill time? Well, almost every life. Some for good, while some for bad and even worse. On one hand are the kind of people who never had enough time out of their busy schedules to explore themselves more, or to know about their hidden talents; people who wanted to learn something of their interests but it took them forever to take the first move. Many people realized the importance of family while many realized the activities that really satisfied them. Some shy people started to open up while some introverts turned ambiverts. Many started writing their thoughts while many started sharing it with the world.

But this is just one side of the story. Not that inhumane incidents like these weren’t seen happening before COVID hit the world, but majority of them were the result of ongoing resentment in people’s mind. Because of their inability to deal with their own brains and feelings.

How every other person is ready to cross all the limits to provide comfort to his/ her loved ones and how when he/ she gets to spend as much time possible with them, all he/she thinks about is his/her own solace? We humans are really very complicated in our thoughts. We think one and do the other. We talk one and opt for the other. We imagine one and live the other.

We need to understand that life won’t always be a perfect day. Sometimes that sunshine will block our vision of that free sky. We need to understand that sometimes those rough winds will knock us down and we will have to get up on our own. We need to understand that beneath all these sufferings is a plank of strength which keeps us going, regardless of any amount of force. But at the same time, we need to keep in mind about how to keep that plank of strength intact, about how to nurture it timely so it doesn’t break when we are in the utmost need of it. While sometimes that plank is our own selves, the other times our family act as the same; our close one’s act as the same.

This quarantine basically acted as a mirror, showing people their real natures, reflecting people their actual personalities, making them aware of how complex of a person they are. Also, it acted as a test paper for other people in their lives. Those who kept up with them are their true mates, hence passing the test, while the ones who didn’t even try to contact them once, know about their well-being once, failed the test. Also, it proved people how deceptive they are to their minds and hearts. They thought about a particular person being important in their life but ended up failing the same test.

C’mon guys. Lets just open up. Lets just be true to ourselves, if not to the others. Let’s just not cheat our own selves, if we can’t be honest to others. Let’s just enjoy the life we would never get back. Lets just hold on to moments, when we are known of the fact of them becoming a memory. Lets just cherish the present without worrying about the future. Let’s change. Let’s explore. Together, if not alone. United if not diverse.

I saw you shivering, when teacher asked you to answer that question in front of the whole class.

Yes. I saw you fumble your words while you were trying to explain that you didn’t break that flower vase, in front of your relatives.

Of course, I saw you sweating when you were leading your way to the examination hall.

Time to analyse the above three situations now:

1. I know, you knew the answer to that question but somewhere was a hesitation about what if it goes wrong.

2. I’m aware you didn’t break that beautiful vase either but somewhere was a struggle to place your words in a right sequence.

3. Well, first things first. All the very best because you got this and with that lemme tell you that here too I’m known to the amount of hard work and efforts you’ve put for your upcoming examinations.

Then what’s holding you back? Then, what is the reason for this uncertainty and uneasiness?

All you need to do is to imagine yourself in the same scenario but with a twist. Let us exclude all the people around. Now, all what matters now is you! The only person present now is you! How do you feel?

Do you feel less anxious without people around?
Or maybe less stressed?
Are you may now able to explain yourself flawlessly?
Do you now feel confident?

It’s okay if today isn’t your day. It is okay if this moment is not in your favour. It is quite natural, that a time comes in everybody’s life where everything seems hopeless, nothing encourages you and all you are surrounded by is dejection.[Related: It is okay to be flawed] Sometimes, you need to let open the channels of your psyche. You need to find a way out. You need to actually go out of the box by forcing yourself to react in a way or behave in a way, you never could’ve expected yourself to. Because, there’s no place on this earth or maybe in the heaven above where you can be completely alone. There are moments where people are seen giving up on themselves. They are adamant on their belief of not being capable enough to change themselves; that they’ve not got the guts to do something which others have never seen them do. Now what? Do we remain the same as we are and continuously try to survive with the feeling of isolation for the rest of our lives? However, the point which needs to be considered more is why? Often, we meet people in our lifetime, who have lost their self-confidence to an extent, where they start depending on gut. And not just on theirs but on everybody’s around them. Weird right? Well, to specify it even more I would exemplify it by speaking about it in my context. Oops! Well, yes, I was among the same people who had been so disappointed with life at a point, that I constantly used to ask my friends about where they see me ten years down the line or would I ever be able to achieve the level of satisfaction I always dreamt of? But deep down I was known to the fact that a day would for sure come where I will have to confront myself. Not that they didn’t help me to cope up with myself but as I always say, people can just guide you, but can’t ever physically access your mind and get that thought off your mind. I knew I could run from everybody. From my parent’s eyes, from the relative’s taunts, from this inhuman society. But how on this earth could I run from my own self? And even if I try to do that, for how long could I be successful at pretending? And this thought led me to force myself to introspect. Not that a good lecture, from a person, equal to your age, living the same life as you but dealing with it in a complete opposite and optimistic way as yours didn’t help. It sure did. That worked as a catalyst to the process you know;)

I understood it after a time that even if you develop some kind of uncertainty towards life or your future, or society for that matter, you’ve gotta understand that someone else CANNOT ever predict your future, or your unseen skills or maybe your unknown talents unless you don’t show up! People who know you can just judge you according to their knowledge about you. But the true self of yours is never visible to them unless you make it vulnerable. All you need is a little trust. On your own self. You have to believe and have faith on yourself and of course forget about the society for some time if you really have an urge to change. If you desperately have a desire to prove yourself. If you actually long to give yourself a chance to live life happily. Because unless you have a desire, nothing in this world can move your conscience…

Hey guys! I’m back with yet another session of encouraging you kill the mosquito, which was about to bite you in the previous blog. Just kidding! (source:Is it that difficult to sync?)

This content today is not exactly a blog. This is more of a candid conversation about various questions and queries which still have not reached to their answers. This journal today is about the most asked questions on google. I am unsure about if I’d really be able to answer each question but c’mon fellas! let’s give it a try. Trust me, I haven’t even googled the questions by now. I swear!

Also, an important disclaimer before I start with my unasked lecture on life.

How hard is it to respect yourself?

How tough is it to value yourself?

How difficult is it to appreciate yourself?

Often, we hear our parents mentioning, about how we should respect our elders, teachers, and fellow mates. Boys may actually hear an element more, about, how to respect girls. But how many of our parents are seen teaching their children to respect themselves first? How many people do you hear on the streets, randomly talking about importance of valuing ourselves, more than delivering lectures on how to respect elders? How many of us really realize our self-worth? A few of many do recognize it, but feel inferior when it comes to implementing the same. Despite being known to the evergreen quote which goes like- ‘An apple a day, keeps doctor away.’ Oh! no not this pals:/ I was talking about the quote which says- ‘God helps those who help themselves.’ Yes! This very quote here.

So, how many of you would actually think about yourself, before jumping through the ring of fire to, say, save your family whenever the crisis strike? How many of you would actually think of your hunger, when you see, say, a little kid dying on the road because of malnutrition? How many of you would actually think of your ongoing happy phase in life while you hear about, say, your best friend testing positive for cancer? As far as my experience says, I don’t feel any person reading this right now has been ever that emotionless and heartless in his/ her life. Chances are that situations might have made you tough enough to not let you react the same way as you would have before in life, but truth still says that you at least feel the same way, your heart still aches the same way, you still feel pain the same way. Talking about same ways, I just realized that everything syncs in this same way phenomenon, then why does the idea of respecting others including yourself seems that difficult to follow?

Shouldn’t you feel proud of yourself for all the courage you show, while keeping aside your sufferings to support somebody who is in desperate need a helping hand? Shouldn’t you respect your thought process, which is known about the fact of life completely knocking you down and still it thinks about your ailing best friend? Shouldn’t you appreciate that valor and confidence of yours which shows up at the exact time when your family is struggling in its literal terms? And shouldn’t you value your existence which makes up for someone else’s existence?

Building up a bad ass wall of fortitude may sound cool and satisfying for some time. Thoughts including the ones about not falling in the web of emotions might seem appeasing for some time. No stressful life and less distractions might be pacifying for some time. But who on this earth has ever been able to live all by his/ her own? In this world of 7.8 billion people, who has ever found a place which is completely of his/ her own?

Even if you opt to die to get away with these worldly tortures, then don’t forget about the same amount of dead people waiting for you to join them in heaven! (Shh...But, you can know about my Art to Disguise secret). Then why not live and balance the appreciation we give to the world with the admiration we provide to our self? Why not we make it a routine to recognize the efforts, our body puts in to help, if not others then at least our own selves? Starting from killing of a mosquito which was about to bite you!! Yay!

Oh well, just a plug in about my thought on how you as a person have your life sorted into 4 spheres, which eventually you ruin when you go off those spheres. Now I guess, first there is a need to know about the spheres, we people revolve in and end up messing in.

· The first sphere is a circle which consists of ‘us’. Like, legit only us. This is a part of us, which is just known to us. We don’t let us this face of ours, get vulnerable at any cost. No doubts, we share our deepest darkest secrets to some close ones but still there exists a profile of ours which is disguised. Therefore, when you hear people saying that they don’t fear anything, then understand, he/ she doesn’t want you to know about his/ her shortcomings. Because! C’mon guys. Who doesn’t fear? Every human does. If not from the beast, then for sure from the beauty. If not from the venom, then for sure from the elixir. Because that supreme power doesn’t let anybody devoid of the basic human emotions:)

· The second sphere is a circle consisting the people who are ‘close to us’. People, with whom we share almost everything. People, whom we care about. People, whom we trust blindly and never wanna let go. This might comprise of our close friends and well, family, of course. Oh here. Did you ever really quest about the literal definition of a ‘best friend’? Well according to me, there’s nothing as such called best friends. Like either its friends or its family. Ah! Your welcome for the unasked query.

· In the third sphere, reside some acquaintances and relatives in general with whom, all you interact is about health and well-being. Like Hi! How have you been? Or maybe something to deal with world politics and good food. Oh! And an unnecessary reminder: you can never be goofy with them. Well, never try to!

· Here comes the last sphere. In this circle, you know no one and no one knows you. Complete strangers with no convos. Completely unfamiliar faces with completely unusual behaviors. Ah! Waiting for the catch, right? I got you. Never ever in your life trust strangers. Cliché but verified!

Chances are that some of you might as well have understood half the recipe for a good life but what even is a good life without a spicy twist? Isn’t happiness overrated now? Isn’t sweet, lovey-dovey kinda life, boring now? How do you even live a same monotonous life? Also, being continuously cheerful is heck tiring. Like not just mentally but even physically. Didn’t you ever hear laughing can be fatal at times? Your welcome again:) Oh! I feel you. I get how even the Simple seems Complicated:(

Oh! The recipe! I didn’t forget though:) just in case you thought I did -_-

Ingredients:

· A teaspoon of confidence

· Half a teaspoon of positivity

· A pinch of flaws

· 2 tablespoons of understanding

· A full teaspoon of focus

· A teaspoon of sweetness

· A tablespoon of: forgiveness, values and gratitude

Method:

Take a bowl of life. Add in it, all of the confidence, positivity, understanding and focus. Mix everything till it becomes a smooth and fine batter. Then add a teaspoon of sweetness into it. Mix until the sweetness dissolves completely. Put the bowl in the oven of problems. Wait till the soft batter becomes completely tough. Take out the bowl and wait until it’s cooled completely. Later, for garnishing sprinkle on it some flaws, forgiveness, values and gratitude. And tada! Your delicious dish is ready to rock!

Now a question. Why did we sprinkle some of the most important ingredients over the top and in the end?

Ans: Because, your whole dish of life is made up of ingredients which needs to form the basis of it while when you would be growing tougher and tougher in that oven of problems, its just the crust of yours which would be hardened while the inner part of it would still remain subtle. And sprinkling of more important yet beautiful ingredients over the top would constantly give the toughened surface low-key a fine representation of your personality. A truth which for sure would catch everyone’s eye but won’t necessarily be the same for everyone tasting it! That’s called the art to disguise!

You've Got To Force Yourself!

What bothers you the most about yourself?

What freaks you out the most about yourself?

What would come to your mind, if somebody stares at you continuously?

Ah! Here come some expected answers:

-Is the person laughing at me or talking about me?

-Does my face not look nice?

-Do my clothes not look good?

-Is my hair a mess? And so on…

Well, I wasn’t asking about your physical appearance guys! I aimed at asking about your mental muddle and many of you (majority if not all) would’ve ended up replying in terms of your physical facade. Weird right?

Okay! In detail, we go about the last question: Every time you see somebody talking or laughing while he/ she is staring at you, what gets you uncomfortable? What comes first to your mind? Basically, nothing but if there is something or anything inappropriate about you!

[Note: The above example is apart from the situations, where a girl/boy can really feel the improper sight of someone else on their bodies. So, hey guys, I got you here!]

Ever thought of how some people are the real reasons behind their helplessness? Like guys, come on! People nowadays freak out even for the tiniest and stupidest things that result them in the toughest and ugliest problems. Not because they worry about themselves that much, but more because they worry about what others are gonna think about them.

So yeah! This is the topic today about. Your mental muddle; the real reason behind the majority of your miseries, the true logic behind most of your distress and the ultimate ground of your groundless life; thoughts that you assume, surmise and ultimately believe to be true, even when they aren’t.

As I mentioned earlier about people, narrowing their thoughts over things which don’t even need a bit of their attention but they do engage themselves in and end up being into some real disturbance. They wanna hold onto things, which aren’t meant to be theirs, they wanna hold onto people who aren’t supposed to be a part of their lives, they wanna hold onto gestures which don’t even suit their personalities. But they do want to! They continuously tend to make their lives complex by turning the simplest of issues to hardest of matters, by turning the pointless subjects to concerned questions and what not! They worry even for the fact that they are worrying!

Oh! did I hear someone asking about what next?

So up next comes the cycle of hurting themselves all by their own self and then asking for help. Now this element has a twist in it. Therefore, either they go asking for help to a wrong person or they are themselves wrong for asking help about something that doesn’t even has any physical appearance, meaning that nobody can literally feel or understand about the kind of help you are actually asking for! Simple yet complicated, right? I bet this would’ve got you into some real confusion. Okay! Tell me what things can you practically fix? A device, or an object or a fight, or maybe even a person if we get deeper, a broken relationship. But can you fix somebody else’s thoughts? Their dreams? Their beliefs? Maybe yes, you can change somebody’s perspective over things but once for all can you ever control their minds? Or can you get into somebody’s brain and ask them to change their ideology over certain things or get that thought in your hand and throw it out somewhere far? Well, up till now, I’m still known to the answer NO! Then, ultimately which help are you actually asking for? When you are aware of the fact that nobody but you have that access to your mind?

[Note: If hypnotism comes to anybody’s mind, then lemme clear it out that, here I’m referring and aiming to hypothetical situations where you can access somebody else’s thoughts so it’s gone forever while when we talk about a hypnotized person, then he’ll be himself again as soon as he is hypnotized.]

Now the next and last and I bet the most important question pops up about what to do to get out of your mental muddle. Well, if you’ve made this far, then you would’ve definitely sensed some kind of casual approach on this important matter. But when I’ll tell you about its solution, you’ll be more than bewildered as ever, because it says to simply ‘Force Yourself’ because sometimes you need to. Because sometimes this is actually what is needed. Now, here force doesn’t mean to be harsh on yourself or get tyrannical upon yourself. It basically means to force the thoughts, that ruin your peace, out of your mind. Force the ideology, that doesn’t keep up with your character, out of your brain. Force the notion, that doesn’t let you be you, out of your head, because you are your ultimate help. Because you are your only savior.

It sure would be hard, would might feel resentful and for sure, time consuming. Healing might be difficult, curing might be obscure, fighting might be tiring. But in the end trust would keep you going. Trust, that this vagueness would clear. Trust, that everything would ultimately fall in place. Trust, that this effort of your existence wouldn’t end up in vain.

Either He Kills Himself Or His Values!

Have you ever seen yourself through other’s eyes?

Have you ever heard yourself through other’s ears?

Have you ever judged yourself through other’s perspective?

In this race to be the best, we are relentlessly catering ourselves with pain and trauma. Process continues and so do our frantic efforts. But, in all of this, a point comes, where we get blinded to the basic sense of right and wrong. We forget the primary ways of doing things. We tend to convert our candid efforts into shady endeavors. We run and run; sometimes for aim and sometimes aimlessly, sometimes with care and sometimes carelessly and sometimes for an end while sometimes endlessly.

All what revolves in our mind is about the next profitable thing we’ve gotta chase. Sure, we’ve all got our own reasons. But according to me, on this planet, there can be no reason ever this great, which costs you your chastity. Now many people would deny my previous written line, pointing attention towards the real sufferers, calling attention towards the people who need to opt such means to survive, referring to the people who die for just a single meal of the day. Well, a choice still prevails. In the same society of normal looking people, there also exist some differently abled people, who are seen working efficiently to earn their living (known that somewhere they’ve got a chance of exemption if not being forgiven). In this same ‘sexual preference’ normalized society, there exist people out of the norm, which are seen working sincerely to survive in this cruel world (while others keep ripping their souls apart with their trash words). In this same society of the real sufferers, who choose dishonesty for their living, there still exist the real sufferers, who choose working their blood and sweat off to keep lighting the flames of honesty in the society, no matter what! How on earth, can you justify stealing someone’s hard earned money or murdering an innocent life or raping a pure soul, to be the needful ways for your existence?

On nearly every other step, we find a person begging for his/ her life. Not just the adults, but even the little lives aren’t exempted from the web of existential crises today, a sight, which not just tears but completely destroys the hearts. But, above all of these feelings, how many of you really put an effort to rectify even a bit of it? How many of you don’t feel that pain for just those 2 minutes of that sight? How many of you literally get driven to struggle with them, for them?

Here’s an example for how diplomatic we people today are but never claim to be.

A needy person, when found no other option to feed himself and his family, started begging on the streets. He falls on the feet of a business man and asks for help in any form, but the businessman in turn kicks him and shoves him away. After finding nowhere to go and watching his family die in front of his eyes, the person decides to cheat on his values. He aims a rich businessman’s house and steals stuff. The businessman is heard speaking to the cop about how people like that burglar don’t find a small honest job but prefer to rob instead.

Now this small tale can be evaluated into two different conclusions:

1. That financially blessed people like us are not necessarily blessed by hearts and brains too, i.e. how diplomatic actually are we in our cognition. If talked about the above context, the businessman is seen talking about the small but honest job, the needy should’ve chosen. But if he himself being a rich person couldn’t provide him with the same when he was begging for help, how come he even gets the right to judge the other person’s way out? Moreover, he is also unaware of the reasons for the other person’s such deed.

2. That a person in desperate need of help is the only one who can feel the actual pain of his sufferings. And when left with no options, he is forced to either kill himself or his values. Moreover, it is not him who accounts for major responsibility for his deeds. It is us who should be held responsible for not contributing to someone’s honest living, while he was still begging for it.

So this way, the process keeps on going, where we are continuously widening the gap between the needy and rich, shallowing the depth of honesty, loosening the grip of humanity and broadening the spheres of unreliability.

It Is Okay To Be Flawed!

Do you want to be in good books of everyone?

Do you want to be treated special?

Do you want to be the center of attention in a group?

Well, this blog today, is not gonna be anything about ‘tips to get famous’ or ‘how to be celebrated’ kinda topics. This blog today is all about how okay it is to be flawed. We always have been so conscious about our bodies, behaviors, attitudes, and conducts. We take eternity to grow ourselves into somebody, we’ve always admired. We take forever to transform ourselves into what the society demands us to be (#Following the trend). But we never bring ourselves down to the thought about why isn’t it okay to be what we’ve been grown with. Why isn’t it okay to live with what we’ve inherited? Why isn’t it okay the way it is?

People usually feel bad and curse themselves for being fat, or having a face full of scars, or not being able to work in a certain way and god knows what not! They continuously blame themselves for the fact, that they aren’t as capable as the people they aspire are. In this whole process, they mislead themselves to an extent, where they start talking and behaving in the same way. But least do they know that bare imitating the other person won’t lead them to become the same person. People need to understand that each person born on this earth has his/her own aura, own vibe, a little something that differentiates them from others and by mere imitating someone, they can’t steal all of it from them. Rather, all what would happen is that in this whole procedure, they would miss out on their own self. They would lose the only thing that separates them from the crowd.

Forgetting all of it, first let’s find out the reasons for why everybody today craves for attention.

· To feel dominant
· To feel special
· To feel loved
· To manipulate
· To influence and so on…

Now let’s have a glimpse on what they do to gain attention.

· Imitate
· Exaggerate
· Manipulate
· Pretend
· Use the fake card

Time to look at the kind of people who are in a desperate need to seek attention.

· People with low self esteem
· People with less self-respect
· People with deadly sufferings
· People with insecurity and trust issues
· People who don’t feel self sufficient

Often, you would hear people referring somebody as ‘flawless’, just by looking at his/her face, figure, physique, clothes etc etc. I mean how silly and irrelevant of them to even believe that there can be somebody who’s completely ‘flawless’. Nothing on this earth is ever flawless. From a human body to the evergreen beautiful nature, from the open wide sea to little crawling insects; nothing is perfect. Is it so unrecognizable that due to the existence of word ‘imperfect’, there is the survival of word ‘perfect’? Or that the existence of word ‘flaw’ validates the survival of the word ‘flawless’?

It is okay to feel the beauty and imagine the positivity every time but it is even more okay to stumble and trip in life, to know that it won’t cause you any pain to be you, to understand that it’s completely effortless to act you and it is completely acceptable to value your flaws. Trust me, being broken makes much more sense than to pretend being tough and unbreakable, for the shattered pieces have nothing to lose while the resilient continuously live in the fear to lose out!

Do You Even Ask Yourself?

If we observe keenly, how many of us are ready to hear more than speak more? Introspect more than to judge others more? How much in a day do we talk to our self? In spite of whining to others, how many of us whine to our self and beg our own self for a solution? How many of us ask to our self if:

· We are satisfied?
· We really are doing things right?
· We should be proud on our self?
· We are missing out on something good for our self? And so on…

Growing up, we all hear this quote by Shri Swami Vivekananda saying, “Talk to yourself at least once in a day, otherwise you may miss a meeting with an excellent person in this world.” But how many of us do actually hear stuff to follow and not just for the sake of hearing? How many of us wanna dig and explore ourselves more than finding fun in others? Now here arises a misconception, using which many people mislead or misguide themselves. People nowadays are convinced with the fact, that if they’ll be focusing on themselves and taking care of themselves, they’ll be termed selfish or maybe self obsessed. But now there is an urgent need to understand the difference between being selfish and prioritizing our self. We need to realize that we can’t be 24/7 available for people around us. Nor can be the other person be available for us, every time we need them to be. Therefore, all we have at that moment is our own selves. Alone, yet enough! Being selfish means thinking all about yourself, even when you can compromise on your thoughts to help or save others. Basically, at that moment, you have an option. But when we talk about prioritizing yourself, that primarily means helping out yourself first when there are other lesser things to be concerned about.

Often, we get indulged with things, we don’t have any interest in. This includes job and relationships. We wanna believe that the particular option, would help us grow in life but that’s really not the thing. If you bring down yourself to introspection, you’ll find yourself in literal misery. This is how the world works. The more passionate you find yourself in a work, the more you attract towards it and the more you bloom there. While on the contrary, if you choose to get involved into something profitable, but completely out of your interest and not involving self-satisfaction, then automatically, after a point, things won’t feel the same to you. You’ll start feeling caged and would want to get out of it as soon as possible. Usually, in today’s era, it is very simple to buy anything with money, including a whole human being. But some unseen, unnoticed feelings and emotions are there which are still termed, priceless. Today, many of us, find our lives monotonous and meaningless but do we ever give a thought about the people whose lifestyle we enjoy following? Do we ever give a thought to why the person of same age as ours, living in the same society as ours, breathing the same air as we are breathing has completely different perspective from ours towards life? Now there’s a simple and candid trick to it which says normalize talking to yourself and falling more for yourself than talking about others and falling more for them everyday!

Every loss on this earth is inexplicable.

Whether it is a loss of a dear person, or a long-awaited opportunity, or maybe a life changing moment. Every one of us, in this lifetime loses something or someone. And for every being present on this earth, the meaning of life varies. For every soul on this earth, the amount of pain for the loss varies. For every emotion on this earth, the depth of loss varies.

Somehow, eventually, we come to terms with the fact that the thing or being wasn’t meant to be ours in the first place. Or maybe, even if we get it back, nothing would be the same as before. It isn’t that we don’t try or make efforts to bring things back to normal but what is even fixing, when things have already been shattered to bits?

Well, among all the loses in this world, there still prevails one such loss, a regret, a failure, who’s pain can be equally felt, by everyone: The pain of losing yourself, the regret of destroying yourself and the sorrow of failing your own self. Lifetime it takes, to know about what you are and what you are ought to be, and a second it takes to forget what you were and what you were meant to be. A lifetime, it takes to grow yourself into somebody you always wanted to but a moment it takes to demean your identity. A lifetime, it takes to know your worth in this worthless place but an instant it takes to ruin your psyche.

In this world of chaos, wherever the eyes roll, all we witness is people selling themselves short to fit into spaces that they don’t belong to. People giving their cold shoulders, just for the sake of acting cool. People adding insult to the injury to uplift their banners, trying to impersonate somebody they aren’t! How dope is it for people today, to speak stuff without even thinking of the consequences or the person, on that side of torment.

How every other person today wants his/her childhood days back, moments of carefreeness back and that time of life back when nobody would judge them. But also, how awfully stupid of them to want such, when they are the reason for somebody else thinking the same way? How easy and convenient it is today, to judge people, to mock them down or to say words that can rip their souls apart and at the same time how complex situations get for us when the same words rebound to us. How every other person agrees to compensate to fit in for gaining a little attention. But how disgusting of them to think that they weren’t alone enough for a bunch of people who aren’t even living their real selves? How people today, agree to live with identity crisis but don’t want to invest time thriving their own selves?

Why is it so hard for people to understand the power of their own bodies and brains? And how come they find it so easy to recognize others? People usually in today’s era are terribly dependent on others to authenticate their own potential and capabilities and the time they come to terms with their real vigor, they begin blaming the same person for putting those limitations on them. But who is actually to blame? Who is actually to condemn? Who is actually to put at fault?

Every now and then, you’ll hear people saying they want to become the next ‘whoever their idol is’ but how often do you hear that they want to be the best version of themselves? How often do you hear people talking about the change they want to bring in the society than talking about already existing revolutionists? Or how often do you hear people wanting to change their approach towards problems than to blame others for the same? Well, rare but much needed!

You Are A Winner Already!

Who said you aren’t the winner already? Who said you aren’t capable to compete? Or who said victory has anything to do with age, body shape, sex or color?

I remember someone mentioning it to me once that, everyone who’s alive on this earth right now, is already a winner! And you wanna know how?

Okay, tell me! How did you ever forget, that you were the only one, who has alone fought the battle of life? That you were the one who competed with hundreds and thousands and lakhs of sperms and made your way to this world? How did you ever forget that even right now, while you are reading these words, you are the one who’s winning this opportunity among lakhs and crores of illiterates currently present around you? How did you ever forget that you are still winning breaths for your body, while someone out there is begging for it?

So how come are you already not a winner? Or does just a lot of money, or some good marks or maybe a magnificent life validates success? I sometimes bring myself down to a thought, for how people find more reasons to give up, and less to get up, more reasons to run away and less to return back to their own turmoil. They say you are the one responsible for all the mess in your life. And I ask what wrong do they say? I ask how come hiding somewhere is the ultimate solution to the problem?

Everything which is ever been constructed on this planet, has had a key to get destructed. Be it a harmless object, something as dangerous as nuclear bomb, we humans or our minor problems. Therefore, when you say this problem isn’t going to get solved anytime soon, why don’t you just recall the time where it all started going wrong? Nobody knows that instance better than you do, of course. Also, neither you, in any way possible, can make some other being thoroughly known to the trouble you are facing nor the respective person would be literally able to feel your pain at the very moment.

You know what all others can do?

Just provide you with unnecessary sympathy, out of which only a few percent would be the people who would genuinely care about your well-being while the rest would end up mocking you at your own backs! Well, if not now, then maybe later, for sure. Not for the fact, that you were asking for help to the wrong ones, but moreover because you were wrong enough to be scared to fight your own battles.

Give every possible effort and try to switch to possibilities from pain, to accountability from agony, to light from loathe, for the winners never leave any stone unturned!

Because You Are Not To Be Blamed Anymore...

Who is responsible for your miseries?

Who is accountable for that ache in your heart?

Who is answerable for that mess in your mind?

You? Someone else? Situations? Or consequences?

Ans: Maybe everything. Maybe none of them.

Sometimes, your life is not really lead by you. You are not able to control things, and handle stuff. You work your sweat and blood to achieve a goal and suddenly you are knocked off by life with a low blow. You are at the peak of your carrier and suddenly you come to know about someone very dear to you, battling for life. You think you are enough capable to solve a problem on your own but suddenly situations shove away your patience and you end up worsening things…

Therefore, you cannot blame yourself or any other above mentioned contexts for your sufferings. Now you’d wanna know what is this actually which holds you, restrains you and controls you; irony being that you are totally aware of this magic yet somewhere ignorant towards it. Well, above each effort of yours, above each struggle of yours and above each belief of yours is a power called fate. Something, which people usually confuse with luck and relate as destiny.

There’s a force which is continuously guiding you to perform tasks you never considered to be worth enough your try. There’s a plan which is continuously working in your routine, getting you into troubles and taking you on a roller-coaster ride and coming back with an absolute random ending. There’s a thinking which is continuously provoking you to do the undo able, stimulating you to imagine the unimaginable and evoking in you the urge of learning the unlearn able and that, my friend is termed, fate.

You often cherish some happy coincidences, but ever thought about the home to coincidence? Ever thought about, how in the population of 7.8 billion people, why you were only known to a bunch of them? Forget for a specific time, but in your whole lifetime? Ever thought about why life taught you those lessons which were meant to be taught to others, whom it could’ve been of great help?

Thinking about the uncertainty of lives, present seems to be an elixir. An epiphany of solitude seems a pure thought, while thinking about the unpredictable future. A sudden sense of tranquility emerges, while thinking of elegance of eternity. So why not enjoy, being puppets of our own fates? Why not have fun, on this ride of some happy and sad moments? Why not prefer to stay, than to run away? After all you are not to be blamed anymore…
