Pack 360 Take-Order popcorn is now available. If you weren’t able to pick up your popcorn at the last Pack Meeting (this past Tuesday), you can contact the Popcorn Kernel to make arrangements. He will also be at the church on Den Meeting nights with the popcorn.

Prizes: All of the prizes have been delivered, except the Scout Bucks, as of 11/28/09. If you’ve returned all of your order money, you can get your prize. The Pack 360 Kernel will also have the prizes with him when he visits the church on Den Meeting nights.

Fill-A-Sheet scouts: For those that have filled an order sheet, your special incentives will be available from the Kernel. The Coco Key dates are December 19-20, January 16-17, 23-24, 30-31, and February 6-7. Each Fill-a-Sheet scout gets a voucher for one free ticket plus a discount on an additional ticket. Tickets can be purchased ONLINE ONLY. Details will be emailed to the Fill-A-Sheet Scouts. Also, Scout Night at the Cyclones is December 4th. Tickets are available from the Kernel.

Fill-A-Sheet Incentives!

Parents,

If your son has “filled a sheet”, the Popcorn Kernel needs to know! He will be making phone calls Thursday and Friday to find those scouts! The Fill-A-Sheet incentive for 2009 is the Bow and Mallow toy! To get this exciting prize, you can take your complete order form up to the Dan Beard Council Scouting Achievement Center. If you cannot make it up to the center, contact the Pack 360 Popcorn Kernel for additional options!

Additional Fill-A-Sheet incentives include a free ticket to Coco Key and an invitation to the all new Fill It Up Fest at the Cincinnati Cyclones game. The Kernel will get these tickets from Council and give them out at the next Pack Meeting (…assuming he gets them before then).

Here’s some tips to make sure you’ve filled in your order sheet as much as possible:

1) Enter each customer on a single line. If a customer buys more than one item, it’s still a single line entry.
2) Online sales count! Each unique customer can be entered on a line on the order form!
3) Show-N-Sell customers count! The Popcorn Kernel has emailed the Show-N-Sell results to every scout that attended.

REMINDER: End of Sale Approaching!

Pack 360 Cub Scouts:

Remember, the last day to sell for our pack is on Monday, October 26, 2009! All money and forms are due on Tuesday, October 27, at the October pack meeting. The Pack 360 Popcorn Kernel will have all available popcorn on site at a special table in the back of the room on Tuesday night.

Parents, please come prepared to spend some time during the meeting turning in your son’s forms/money and receiving popcorn so we don’t have to do it all after the meeting. The Kernel will be sending out emails to every scout that has participated in a Show-N-Sell/Deliver event on Monday evening so that you can include that information on your order forms.

Any popcorn that is needed and not available will be ordered and delivered in November. For questions/comments, please contact the Popcorn Kernel here.

Mystery House Clues – Week 1

Back again this year is one of the favorite contests of the Popcorn sale, the Mystery Houses! Mystery Houses are special unmarked houses that are spread around the council. There are several located in each district. The first popcorn seller who gets to house successfully and completes a popcorn sale wins an exciting prize! This year’s prize is a portable DVD player. Clues about the houses locations and which houses have been found will be posted here to the right, so be sure to check back regularly.

Pack 360 Neighborhood Sale Results!

Sixteen boys from Independence, KY. Cub Scout Pack 360 participated in our first ever “Neighborhood Show-N-Deliver” event this past weekend. Braving the damp conditions, the boys and leaders set out to sell popcorn in two area neighborhoods. After only a couple hours, we came away with 40 different customers and $660 worth of sales and $35 in donations.

A huge thanks to all of the boys, parents, and leaders that helped make this sale a success!

Popcorn Sort & Pick-Up

Representatives from several packs and troops in Northern Kentucky converged on the Cincinnati Terminal Warehouse on Friday, September 25th, to help sort the thousands of cases of popcorn. This is the effort that gets all of the popcorn organized for packs/troops to pick up popcorn in preparation for the sale. The number of volunteers was so large, including seven from Pack 360, that the work was completed in short order.

A huge thanks to the Pack 360 leaders and parents that spent a Friday afternoon helping out with the popcorn effort!
