• I’ve run away to join a different circus.

This is our first blog here at Louden Office Furniture! I can’t think of a better way to kick off our first post than remember back to the movie, Office Space. While some scenes and lyrics weren’t appropriate for youngsters, there were parts that rang true for many of us office and cubicle workers. Remember the guy who gets slowly moved to smaller and smaller work space until he finally ends up relegated to a dark storage closet in the basement? He’s the one gripping the red Swingline stapler in the picture below.

That movie has become a classic based on universal workplace struggles and typical personalities. There’s the lady who answered the phone in that irritating voice, the boss who roamed the aisles with a death grip on the coffee cup, and the efficiency expert consultant.
